Beau really adds to the experience with his cooking and his llamas. He can join my camp anytime.
Seeing Randy in this one it’s like watching a super hero crossover film!
😂
Randy, Corey, and Donnie all together = deadly combo!
What a group of guys! Randy , donny, Corey, beau. What an awesome group.
I think my favorite thing about this episode is seeing and watching everyone interact. I have had a couple of interactions over email with Corey and he got me connected with some friends of his in Oregon to work on a project. What I appreciated, even over email, was that he was kind,he is gracious and happy. I for one appreciate how he interacts with Donnie and everyone else he meets. It doesn’t go unnoticed.
Donnie’s like “Man, so this is how the other half hunts. Yes, yes I’ll take some cheese on my breakfast burrito!”
You really can’t beat everything that Beau brings to the table on these backcountry hunts from the food & tents to his Llama’s. Definitely a game changer. And then there is good ol’ Randy, it’s great to see him on this crossover episode. I’m gonna miss all of these great episodes when the 30-days is up.
We layer clothing and use warmers to try and stay warm. The animals that live there are comfortable. Its amazing how warm their hides and hair keep them. Great episode.
Seeing Randy's reaction as Corey was getting out the hand and body warmers reminded me of how he always says that people who wear gloves instead of mittens during the winter must like cold hands.
I love watching, but everyday it reminds me why I love archery hunting so much.
These last few episodes still remind me why I still love archery. Dont have to deal with the cold when it comes to archery
Man, you guys have it made getting to hunt with Beau in your camp! Lamas, camp chef, nice warm tents! Hunting version of glamping! These late season hunts are rough, especially in Montana winter! Thanks for sharing guys!
Randy is such a awesome guy. He always seems so laid back and would be fun to hunt with
“Hey folks....Randy Newberg” love this guy 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🤣
Fresh elk at camp. Can’t beat that. Tough hunt with the animals. I think Randy was just making sure of where the elk weren’t by sending you across the state to start.
A great quote for elk hunters...."hunt elk where they are".......that's the hard part of elk hunting! You all have it figured it out. Thank you for the show.
I like Randy's face when you busted out the hand warmers haha
I thought randy was going to lose his s#*t when cory busted out the hand warmers 🤣
Randy’s look of disapproval while Corey is getting all of his hand/body/foot warmers activated was priceless! Glad you guys found some elk at least!!
Absolutely epic looking elk country. Beautiful video. Nothing better than the comradery of elk or deer camp. Caring and sharing, that's what it's all about.
This one’s for Donnie. " Did you see on the news about the Barista that was stealing from the coffee shop..... They said it was "grounds" for dismissal"
That is one heck of a camp set up with the cooking tent with Beau cooking for everyone. I can see the passion that Beau has for being there and making it comfortable. Good to see a little change in the big country glassing. Had to laugh a little for John on being the pack mule/glasser/equipment manager lol. Got to love the series!
That’s a great camp crew right there. That wall tent setup and food is like glamping!
Wow! that rack of antlers is awesome. What we all dream of harvesting. Thanks for sharing.
Watching you guys with randy is a true blessing , best guys in the business! Blessed and humbled to watch you! 👍🏻
Watching Beau’s hunt in Wyoming was awesome. He’s a complete inspiration begging a very recent cancer service.
It’s about the peace and serenity of the mountains and the overall experience not just the harvest, that’s just the bonus.
I could get used to seeing Randy, Beau, Donnie, and Corey together. The two RUclips channels that I don't miss an episode of..
The camaraderie you guys share is an incredible joy to witness...and Randy is one of my "go to guys" on how to get it done in a Colorado DIY hunt! Priceless...!
This is like watching the All Star game. Randy's podcast is one of the best out there.
I appreciate the collaboration. I was actually going back and forth between your channel and Randy Newberg's to see each groups hunts (Beau's). BY the time I posted this comment, and after episode 28 was released, on 12/09/19 this video reached 23,578 views. Fun to look back and see the progression of each video.
Holly Bull Bo-man!!! I listened to Randy’s podcast today and couldn’t wait to see Bo’s bull. What a hunt for Randy and Matt and Adam. The best is Bo shooting that monster sitting by his campfire. I miss Donnie’s dad jokes. Still hung on the hissing bull, unbelievable so awesome to get on camera.
I appreciate you guys getting out and hiking and showing people how to take advantage of public land. I really admire you fellas! Stay healthy my friends!
You guys really are amazing just how far you walk day after day after day. I mean Donnie is doing it on a bad knee
Hunting elk in conditions like that is never a fun thing. Beau sure knows how to set up a good camp for everyone to return to at the end of the day.
"And I was ready to shoot a cow!" Atta boy Donnie! I'm sure that knee would have thanked you especially with Beau's llamas doing most of the work :-)
I really enjoy when you hunt with Randy. You are both every respectable men.
A whole different game in Montana. Nothing beats a good wall tent with a wood stove and kitchen inside. Done this a lot. Glad you can experience it with Randy and Bea. Looks like a better location to me...bare South slopes where elk can graze. As cold as those temps are, they are likely to be packing in the groceries all day just to stay warm. I think you'll find that big one you're looking for. Grab the ibuprofen, Donnie and get that knee fixed for next season. Keep your chins up boys. Did my heart good to see you three, along with Randy. Truely The Fab Four! Thanks....dwq
What a stud bull. Late season rifle hunting can be a grind, just have to be in the right place at the right time. We know Corey doesn't know the word quit, he'll find a way to make something happen.
Man...Donnie is a trooper with that knee! A really good hunting buddy is priceless!!
This was a fun episode to watch. You all did a great job showing how day to day hunts go. Beau with his tag filled cooking up a nice hot meal for everyone and Donnie showing grit sticking with it through the pain. Well done gentlemen.
Corey & Randy are great together on the podcast & even better on the mountain.
Listen to Corey and Randy on podcast every morning at work. Very knowledgeable together
I have hunted and guided hunters during the rifle hunts here in Colorado most of my life. There is alot of effort that goes into these hunts. In the last 10 years, the country I guide in is very high and isn't conducive for the later rifle hunts because the elk move down in elevation. The archery and muzzleloader hunts have become my most enjoyable hunts. I still enjoy the rifle hunts because that is when we get to hunt as a family. My youngest son's first elk hunt was durind the 2nd rifle hunt and the temperature was-15F gegrees. We were able to get within 100 yards of a group of cows and he made a great shot uphill and harvested his first elk.
Your hunting tactics remind me of mine growing up. Dad would always say we will do a nice easy hike and turns out to be miles on miles of straight down hill. Always enjoyable to see the beauty God created. Great set of horns for Beau. Can’t wait to see what bull you or Donnie take home. Loving the series.
Really nice bull. Looks like the camp fare was excellent. Keep the videos coming guys. Great job.
Good news is that there are elk in Montana. This whole series is getting me so pumped!!! Thanks Guys...
Tough, cold conditions!!! And beautiful country!!
that was a monster bull. you got into elk for the first time this hunt. always a good sign
Randy’s sense of humor is awesome and like always beautiful country!!!
You guys are putting in the work! Body warmers are pretty fantastic! The hunting-gods will come thru...keep up the good fight!
Donnie dad joke alert: “Do you know on average people want three blankets on their beds at all times? That’s just a blanket statement!”
#elk101, #rmef, #mtops, #primearchery, #gohunt, #onxhunt - best insurance policy; don’t leave home without any of them!
Thanks guys, another winner - great country!
Do I have 2 kidneys 🤣. Huge shock to Corey from hunting in 80° to single digits. It's amazing how just seeing elk gets the morale up. It's also amazing how much harder you are willing to push yourself knowing there is a hot meal in a 85° tent at the end of the day. Good luck guys. I still have faith that you guys will be successful. Love the series guys
It's like watching the pro bowl with all the starters together on one field. Great hunting action, love the snow covered mountains. Can't till the big one steps out.
The best of my favorite RUclips folks. Both are very motivational and inspiring to the blue collar group of hunters. Thanks for the encouragement that comes with your videos!!
Hey glad you found Randy and elk... LOL Randy's reaction to warmers...
Those cows sure look tempting. Nothing like elk tacos!!
It’s always good to see elk, keeps you motivated. Hunting winter grounds are always fun, just because of all the elk. Beau and randy are awesome, beau seems like he is the most humbled person you will ever meet. I think you guys will get a long with him very well. You guys seem to have a lot in common and styles of hunting. I am looking forward to the rest of this Montana hunt. I know it will turn out awesome. Thanks again for your time entertaining us with an awesome video. Make me want to be there just to be there. Can’t wait for tomorrow already.
This just reassures why I am making the switch to archery. So much funner to hear the bulls be vocal. Glad to see that Beau got a nice bull. Hope Corey and Donnie can do the same.
Watching late tonight looks like you Found the elk Randy always has a great set up looks like bow shot a monster thanks for let me assure in your adventures keep up the good work
There is a bigger bull?!!!! Wow. Really nice bull for Beau! Beau is a one of a kind guy! I’m excited for you guys, be safe!
All this testifies of bow hunting. Randy’s face was priceless with the hand warmers comment.
One of the best parts of elk hunting is the beautiful country they live in , great series
Hang in there Donnie. Hope your knee gets better.
Less than one minute in, I am excited for 1. Corey to continue rifle hunting 2. Seeing Randy on Elk101 3 and 3. Was a bonus that Beau and the llamas are there!
Working hard everyday always pays off! I can’t believe we are already winding down this years season with you guys!
Randy was giving the universal sign for"W". That being the first letter of my last name. Meaning Wafer Wins "Weverything"!!!!!!! LOL! Good to see Randy with you guys! Super Hero Lineup!
Yeah, that loooked cold. Like so cold I had to go get a blanket to keep watching!😁 Beautiful bull!!
What incredible country. Thanks for sharing such great content, love seeing you guys and your adventures. The stillness of that place is striking
Great video. I love the fact that most hunters enjoy the chance to hunt with friends and eat the spoils. I enjoyed seeing Randy and you guys sharing information with each other. I live in Australia and our mornings and evenings are spent talking about the hunt. Keep up the good work. Thankyou.
Seeing great scenery, spotting elk, and eating fresh elk meat by a toasty wood stove!!! Sounds like a good day in my book! Keep up the awsome work guys!
Elk camp with Randy and the guys is like classiest hotels but in the timber, nice and warm tents excellent food and awesome company. Just keep climbing those peeks you will find a good bull soon enough.
I can’t get over that landscape. What a beautiful place.
Seeing Beau's setup is awesome. Like seeing you guys roughing it. You do earn it with the snow though! Love seeing the different stages of the elk seasons.
Pretty cool seeing these guys get together again. It’s been awhile I remember when Corey passed on a bull archery hunting with Randy and Randy’s reaction was priceless.
It's always great to see elk when you haven't been for a while. Puts a little flame back on your fire. Best of luck to you guys. Can't wait to see the bulls you guys get. Or bull and cow. Meat is meat.
Congrats to beau on this one....He hauled the camp, hauled the elk with the lamas, and threw together a nice meal with them backstraps!! Oh yeah.
Anything to keep warm, body warmers ect. Some really steep back country, but to see that Bull Beau took keeps you focused. Nothing like coming back to camp with fresh tenderloin in the frying pan. I’m with Donnie, cow or legal bull I’m taking home some meet. Love Randy’s pod casts seems like a. Great guy to share some fellowship with.
Nice to see Randy in the video. I really enjoy when you two are on screen together
Randy looked super impressed with all your hand, body, and toe warmers! 😂😂😂😂😂
Haveing dinner and telling stories in the tent is priceless!!!!
Elk or no elk, after a long cold day of hunting it is really nice to come back to a warm tent, good food and a "dad" joke":) You are getting closer!
Man that's cold. I'm glad you finally found the elk. Congrats Beau on the great bull.
You have to keep pushing to find the one you want. Good Luck
Corey and Randy sure have stepped their relationship up after all the podcasts they have been doing this year together. Takes a good friend to put a body warmer on your kidney
Nice having so many eyes looking for elk. It’s great to have hunting buddies like that and ones that can cook!
so really liked the ability of being able to see the game from long distances, then make your decisions, thats a plus for the rifle hunter i feel.
Awesome looking country guys and some great food! Hope you guys get on one soon!
Love these cross-over episodes. That would be an awesome dinner to be a part of - imagine the stories!
That was a pretty exciting episode. I'm comparing this hunt to my rifle hunts and its keeping me on edge!
Happy that you all found some elk, even though they gave a different meaning to Spike Camp. lol ... I too am with Donnie on harvesting a cow elk, we have ZERO room in the house or garage for a set of elk antlers. Also glad that you finally found Randy and crew, always enjoy the collab hunts with you 3 and he is good for a laugh as well. Maybe even splitting a kidney with some good humor.
Beau is definitely the host with the most and would give the shirt off his back to anyone or his llama pack to get a big elk out of some nasty country. Speaking of big elk, he got another first day bull and wow what a giant that is two for him this year, most deserving after what he has gone through medically. Those back straps look tasty and I hope that some day I get to join a camp like that. Thanks for sharing.
Any time Randy joins your elk camp... It's a good day! Glad to see the #ElkTalkPodcast Crew together on this one!
Nice tent set up- heat, food and a huge Bull- That’s what makes that weather worth hunting...
Finally some elk! Nice work finding some animals. Some steep hills and snow again. Looks like some tough hiking. Keep up the good work! Hope Donnie’s knee won’t bug him for the rest of the trip. Good luck!
Another long cold day hunting. Awesome, still better then my day at work as a correctional officer. Seeing elk is a bonus.
Looks so cold lucky you came prepared can't wait to see more hunting in Montana 👍
Who doesn’t love some Randy!! He’s awesome!
Donnie I feel you with the knees! When the doc tells you your cartilage looks like cottage cheese in your knees and your good one hurts more than the bad it makes for an interesting gate when walking. Way to tough it out! Corey I liked the it wasn't bad in the pop up without heat. Cold is still cold if you ask me! Thanks for doing the series love the info and entertainment.
12 degrees! 🥶 Stoked to see Randy! And the llamas 😂 And more success!
Those are some grueling hunts in November. Between the cold, elevation and snow, it’s not for the faint hearted! Keep hammering!
Love watching how you guys work an area. It's very educational. Thanks for sharing all your knowledge!!
