I had a terminally ill so who passed away. He had a genetic disorder that there are less than 1000 case in the world. Watching this episode made my day. I can't even imagine how amazing something like this would have been for my family had my son lived long enough to be able to hunt. All I can say is WOW and how amazing. My sons headstone has a bull elk on it as I had hoped he and I would have one day hunted elk together. This is my favorite of all the series with out a doubt. You guys really knocked it out of the park with this one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was blessed via Invitro to now have a healthy son who is 5 and can't wait for the time I can get him out hunting elk with me. It would be cool to win one of these prizes and give it to my son to get him excited about when he is old enough to get his own bull. This hunt and situation really made my day. The world is full of a lot of ugliness and it just goes to show there are great people in this world and we need to focus on all the good people do for each other.
Hunts like these make you think about what is important in life. Make the most of every day to make an impact on someones life in a positive way. We are blessed to be able to experience elk hunting and share it with others.

I live 20 min away from where this kid lives. Its awesome to see a kid from the south get a chance at something that he would normally never get to see! Anthony, I have guided Elk hunting for 25 years and I gotta say that you are a great young man with a good hunting ethic. You have to be strong minded to pass up on bulls like you did, always remember, " It's not the kill that makes the hunt, it's the hunt that makes the kill " always remember that. I love Anthony already! He had me at choosing elk “ because I want something that looks good on the wall.” 👍 What an incredible young man. I got emotional listening to him tell about his routine or days are not like a typical kid at all. It made me reflect on how blessed I am with four grown children and 18 grandchildren who are healthy and have no disabilities they have to live with on a daily basis. Thank you Anthony for reminding me to not take blessings for granted. Corey and Donnie, you guys and all those that help you with The Hunt of a Lifetime are incredible. The country was beautiful, the hunt was great, Donnie was calm and gentle as he prepared Anthony to take the shot.....but the most wonderful thing of all was watching this beautiful and courageous little boy hug everyone who made his hunt possible. Absolutely love this. Thoroughly enjoy seeing Donnie's face and smiles, Anthony ducking to walk like the "big guys", and Cory praying around the camp fire. Excellent! Selfless plug. My high school group, Sesser-Valier Outdoorsmen Club has been in partnership with the Rend Lake corps of Engineers has been hosting a Deer Hunt for the Disabled. This year was our 40th Annual and just over 1100 disabled hunters afield in those 40 years, (avg around 30 per year). We are their legs, arms, even eyes some times for 3 days of midwest whitetail hunting. Really warms your heart when you help someone else enjoy the outdoors!
His eyes when you tell him how tall an elk is. A kid dealing with a major health problem but still a kid that we get to see through their eyes. My favorite part.
First and foremost, I want to say that I love how on every hunt of a lifetime hunt, you guys have a prayer around a campfire and put it in these episodes. It's great to see/hear, and it can open up the eyes to a lot of people who may not appreciate the power that prayer has. Aside from that, what a great thing you guys are doing. Can't imagine the joy you guys have experiencing this with these kids. I'd love to be involved in something like this. Go get em Anthony!!

So Mr. Donny is always so quiet and reserved in every other outro, but when it's on the hunt of a lifetime series he turns into a different man. Last year and this year you guy's said this hunt is life changing. Donny proves it truly is. Love it.

absolutely love this. Anthony is trying to mimic how Donnie is walking. crawling on the ground..ect.. just priceless. even watching this you can get the feel of the excitement in Anthony. in person its gotta be so much more.
When my son was about 6 months old he was always getting sick. The Dr's said let's do a CF test. I had no idea what it was. They told me not to look online and let's wait for the test results at OHSU hospital. It was the longest week if my life as a single dad raising my son on my own. With endless prayers and good dr's the results came back negative for CF. He's almost 4 now and loves watching elk hunting with elk101 and the born and raised crew. This hunt is so special and I love that you guys do this for these kids. Keep it up elk101 and Anthony is awesome. Good luck bud!!!

We are their legs, arms, even eyes some times for 3 days of midwest whitetail hunting. Really warms your heart when you help someone else enjoy the outdoors!
His eyes when you tell him how tall an elk is. A kid dealing with a major health problem but still a kid that we get to see through their eyes. My favorite part.

First and foremost, I want to say that I love how on every hunt of a lifetime hunt, you guys have a prayer around a campfire and put it in these episodes. It's great to see/hear, and it can open up the eyes to a lot of people who may not appreciate the power that prayer has. Aside from that, what a great thing you guys are doing. Can't imagine the joy you guys have experiencing this with these kids. I'd love to be involved in something like this. Go get em Anthony!!

So Mr. Donny is always so quiet and reserved in every other outro, but when it's on the hunt of a lifetime series he turns into a different man. Last year and this year you guy's said this hunt is life changing. Donny proves it truly is. Love it.

absolutely love this. Anthony is trying to mimic how Donnie is walking. crawling on the ground..ect.. just priceless. even watching this you can get the feel of the excitement in Anthony. in person its gotta be so much more.
When my son was about 6 months old he was always getting sick. The Dr's said let's do a CF test. I had no idea what it was. They told me not to look online and let's wait for the test results at OHSU hospital. It was the longest week if my life as a single dad raising my son on my own. With endless prayers and good dr's the results came back negative for CF. He's almost 4 now and loves watching elk hunting with elk101 and the born and raised crew. This hunt is so special and I love that you guys do this for these kids. Keep it up elk101 and Anthony is awesome. Good luck bud!!!

I commend you guys for this hunt. Most of time I'm watching with a lump in my throat. I can't even imagine the struggles these youngsters face every day with a smile on their face.
To watch Anthony put his heart into the hunt fully crouched on all four giving the best effort possible to stalk that elk made my day! What a blessing that we all get to share in this adventure, just awesome!
This is heart warming to watch this young man, he may be small in stature but he has a heart as big as an elk, you guys are giving this young man the adventure of a lifetime, thank you for your kindness and generosity, and thank you to everyone involved with it.
