Agreed. As an Oregonian that hunts other states I want to thank those that are hospitable to me in their area. That’s pretty embarrassing

It makes me ashamed almost. I would never even do such a thing but I feel ashamed for that person. Also they need to look at who foots the bill for wildlife conservation and ODFW wages and such for this state. If we didn’t have Non Res hunters we couldn’t afford to hunt here!

That is classic public lands hunting. It is often tough hunting when there are other groups of hunters in the same area, you just have to change your tactics and be creative.

We got a note on our pickup this year too. Apparently its was "pretty low of us to come into someones camp before day light and start hiking in to go hunting." I didnt know that camping in the paved parking lot at the trail head reserved the 4000 acres of public land behind it for you. We got a good laugh about it.

I spoke with a gentleman in Colorado about this situation this year. I'm from a small town in WV and out of state hunters was our life line. It kept stores in business and it brought money to the state. People eventually got tired of being harassed and never came back. Since then all the stores are closed and the state is broke with very little out of state licensing being sold. I offered for him to come to WV and I would help him hunt it. So most people need to be careful what you wish for as it could also hurt you in the long run. My offer is open to anyone wanting to whitetail hunt in WV. Bring all your friends and hunt public land in Pendleton County Wv. You guys are still going strong great job and keep bringing this great content.👍👍

The farther west you go the more negative people seem to be toward non residents. As a Wyoming raised guy, I’ve had to check my own heart on this a few times. I just took my kids to Missouri to hunt because my three youngest aren’t old enough to hunt in Utah. Missouri is very accommodating to nonresident youth. Tags are only $8.50! My 4 oldest kids have filled numerous tags as nonresidents before they were old enough to hunt in their resident state. I’m thankful for the opportunities to hunt in other states.

A lot of people out west may not realize it but you guys are super blessed with all the public land you have to hunt. Us folks in other parts of the country especially the mid west and east have very little or none. I love going out west and being able to hunt millions of acres and do it "DIY" style...not all of us can afford guided or outfitted hunts so being able to hunt public land for animals that we don't have in our area is awesome and should be enjoyed by all. You guys are awesome! Keep it up!

Being a non-tech individual, I just learned(from my wife) I could watch your series on our big screen tv. WoW, I love it. Keep up the tips as I am a new to archery and looking forward to my 1st contact with elk and deer here in Colorado.MikeW

I don’t like bumping into anyone in my spot, local or not, but I like to have the support of many hunters when it comes to conservation issues.

Public hunting, first come first serve, so thick you can't see each other. Pretty childish about the note. Crazy how some people are that way. Glad you got a chuckle out of it!

Welcome to my elk hunting country and I apologize for the people afraid you might succeed and they won't just a disrespectful person. Hope you both wore your waterproof skin as hunting this area is a wet wet hunt and the foliage just plain stays wet for days after he downpours. When we say it's raining we mean the wind is howling and the rains coming sideways enjoy our beautiful area. Get that first Roosevelt Corey

This series really shows how hard Rosie hunting can be! I hate to see the note on the truck at the end of the day. Glad you made lite of it and laughed it off!

It's a tough battle, but education, it's the key. We should all be grateful we have the right to hunt, in or out of state!
