Donnie and cameraman Roy are back up above camp looking for the bulls from yesterday morning, while Corey is shuttling loads of elk meat out of the backcountry back to the trailhead.
Cory and TEAM ANGRY SPIKE are back on yet another bugling bull, and are pushing in to get set up.
Tyler had a horse come up sick, so he had to make an emergency trip to the vet, leaving cameraman Ty Stubblefield to do some calling and raking, in addition to filming, for Lenny and TEAM PURE ELEVATION.
And TEAM SKOUSEN has perhaps one of the greatest elk experiences of all time, with at least 7 different bulls within bow range, including a 6x6 herd bull broadside at 10 yards.
Will Mark fill his tag, and put TEAM SKOUSEN on the board as the first team to fully tag out?
Join us for the Morning Hunts of Day 5!

The time in between the time he stopped that bull, to the time he let an arrow fly tells me he was pushing/pulling and aiming until it went off! Awesome job not rushing it! Best success story from this past season for me was moving to a plan D halfway across the unit we were in. We were not successful in terms of a harvest, but we walked into plan D and had 4 more encounters in 2 days that nearly sealed the deal. This was the best strategy i learned from the elk101 course and recommend every new elk hunter to the course who is serious about elk hunting.
