I am truly enjoying this series as I have the past. I think what is striking this year is the honesty of what is happening in your hunts happens in mine, long stretches of nothingness! It is great to see the humor, the humility and the creativity of a elk turd necklace! Keep it up, this is a breath of peace in a long, cold winter.

Love the dad jokes. I’m an OBGYN and sometimes we tell dad jokes while we’re are sitting there waiting to deliver a baby. Have had a couple moms laugh their babies out to them 😂

Ya'll are correct, Corey can call. I love his analytical approach to how he pursued the bull. It's useful information for those of us that do not have near the elk hunting experience.
I totally agree with y’all’s strategy for success. Ethics is the decision that you make even when no one’s watching.
That bull that Cory was chasing just goes to show that you can't always judge a bull by its bugle. That's a nice Rosie for sure, but it's not the giant dinosaur that his bugle would lead you to believe he is. Pretty incredible sounding bull and super exciting to watch them try to track him down!
I still enjoy seeing the struggles of early season hunting, because most shows don’t show that part of elk hunt. I like the comments and instructions around the raking and moving, especially when the elk are calling because it is early.
One of the most relatable episodes I’ve seen yet, lots of hiking and no elk 😂 love the content as always! Already have me excited for elk season 2023

Destination Elk is like my beggining of year elk masterclass. I'm learning so much.
Love the cat and mouse. Shows me that even the guys that are better than me and more experienced than me at it are not always successful. Helps me to not get discouraged.

Good talk through ethics. It’s always a tough conversation. It’s like talking politics. But in the end, what’s in your heart knowing you’re making the right decision. As a father of a young hunter, I preach ethics and talk through my mistakes at a young age.

Pretty amazing how the sounds can change from 1 location to the other. I would have thought the one for Corey was further away and he stands up on a stump and they are just over a rise. Glad to see the dad jokes, think things are going to turn around for you guys with all the dad jokes.

That bull was awesome to listen to. He did not want a nether bull getting his cows. It was also nice to see a young man tell team Pure Elevation about the bugling bull. Team elk101, by the time the season is over, you will have more blisters on your backside than your feet, but that's hunting. Can't wait for the next one.

I haven’t been tracking the other comments but I really enjoy clicking on the video and seeing that it is a longer one. I often don’t get much time to hunt to learn some of those lessons that are presented through the video, so I appreciate seeing as much as possible so that when I do get out there I know it just isn’t me struggling.

I recently discovered the Elk Talk podcast. Corey’s story about lending his release to Donnie for an outing, and then being forced to take a bare-finger frontal shot at 10y is amazing!
