Paul is a great source of information. I have used many of his information over the years and they have worked very well. As he said you need to understand elk and the only way you can do that is interact with them and experience them. Go make mistakes and learn. It’s a great feeling when it all comes together and you learn something even if you don’t get a shot it’s still very rewarding. Thank you Paul for sharing your knowledge.
Paul is brilliant. He's the only caller I have ever listened to that makes sense because he understands what a bull is saying, and based on that what to say with your own calls and what strategy to use in that specific situation. He's the only one that seems to really understand the language of the elk based on different times and situations. What he describes seems to match what we are experiencing in the field. The slow play is an amazing tactic we have used several times to successfully bring bulls in when nothing else works. It makes sense because it is a whole strategy. Almost everyone else is pretty much just throwing sounds out there and hoping for the best.
Yes sir, I have used the slow play effectively. One bull was going to bed in morning and we got in pretty close before he was settled in and he charged straight at us ignoring the wind. A great shot provided a ton of excitement and meat for the freezer. Thanks again Paul!
Really enjoy Paul and am grateful for his knowledge and wisdom; his enthusiasm is contagious! I have learned a lot from him for many years because I have all his videos, cd's and the app. He was also at a seminar with Elkshape that I attended a few years ago.
I use a piece of 1" plumbing pipe. I found I like the softer black type. The wall is about 1/16" thick and mine is about 16". Works great. And you can experiment with different sizes, it's not expensive.
This talk basically changed my life. Never heard of Paul until this was posted. Absolutely changed so much for me in the elk woods. Much appreciated!

Love when you said you’re doing things nobody else is doing. That’s a gem. Best of luck this year Paul!
Legend! Paul is so dialed, I don’t miss a podcast or presentation of his. Super awesome he was at The Western Hunt Summit; pro level move 💪🏼

Great stuff Paul! Can’t wait to get out there in a couple weeks! Best of luck!
What is the tube he’s using for the glunking and heavy breathing stuff where Paul is describing how he builds that breeding scenario?
This is what I was wondering
I believe it is a piece of radiator hose.
@@jimhawkinsjr.3201 It's a 3/4" piece of sprinkler pipe/tubing. I like one around 11" long. Thanks!

Great info
Went to go get the app. No longer lifetime. Too bad. That’s a turnoff
