Your quotes towards the end struck a chord with me. "We all have dreams. You have a dream. Go do that." "Hunt when you can. You're gonna run outta health before you run outta money." Thanks Randy.
Cant tell you how much your sharing your journey means to some of us aging outdoorsman. All your pains, and aches, are like a clock ticking for all of us counting down to the last hunt. 67 and just booked my first guided caribou and elk hunts for this fall. Keep on keeping on. Scott
Many people go through life with a hope and a desire to fulfill their dream of a lifetime but never achieve that dream for one reason or the other. Congratulations Randy on fulfilling your dream! Thank you very much for sharing your accomplished dream with all of us! Regards.
I'm 76 , hunted moose in Canada , and elk in CO. last year, was planing on going to Africa in July, until the virus shut us down , so will probably go to AK an Canada if Canada lets us in , this fall , also deer hunted in my home state of MI. and in GA.
Can’t be perfect every time, it happens. Thanks for giving love to the animal for its death. That is the mark of a true hunter, appreciating the animal in death and what it provides for you and your family. We hunters know it’s not about just taking an animal, it’s about game preservation and providing good healthy meat for your family. I wish more people could understand we don’t hunt just to kill.
I love the way you give thanks to the animal that gave himself to you, I have done the same and taught our children the same tradition. Some of the most Spiritual moments in my life, came while Riding my horse or walking the mountains and badlands of British Columbia. May you have many more Sir.
Randy, I've been following your adventures for a long time, & I watched the day by day of this hunt, & remember thinking to myself, that this is a once in a lifetime adventure, & how much fun you were having. Today as I watch this I'm completely amazed at how well this story is cinematically, & emotionally presented. By far my favorite Fresh Tracks/Randy Newberg video to date. Thanks for sharing 👍
I just wanna say that you may not realize it maybe you do but I’m disabled and will never get to go on the hunts you do but watching your shows I get to live the hunt as if I’m there. Please keep it up and god bless. I hope you continue the hunt sir and continue to have great memories in the field.
This is, without a doubt, one of the best hunting films I`ve ever seen! The landscape, the people and the hunt - it all seems spectacular! JUST WOW! All I can say is that hopefully I get to go to a magical place like this to hunt someday. Great video for a great hunt. An inspiration to make better videos of the hunts I get to go on. Thank you for this!
For some reason I find myself with a big grin on my face while watching this. Here's to living the dream!!! Get out and do those dream hunts. You will never look back and wish you had the money back.
Great job Randy. I loved your aspect of hunting your dream. You've opened my eyes to true dedication and determined spirit. I'm 53 and still believe I can reach my dream too; a Roosevelt elk. I see hundreds weekly living in protected areas 418 and 437 in NW WA. So, with seeing your video, I DO realize I can with dedication. Thank you for your stewardship of hunting our blessed lands.
Congrats Randy! Glad you represent us hunters so well in our honor and pursuit of wild places and wild animals. Beautiful country and footage. Great job Marcus
That moment when you see how tough these animals are, then see a Alaskan mountain man drop a moose one shot with a 30-30 at 120 yards. This world is an amazing place. Great hunt Randy.
Awesome hunt. So happy for you to be able to live out a lifetime dream. Much respect for how you thank the animal for giving its life for you. That is how it ought to be. You, Sir are a true Sportsman.
Hey Randy, I will be 49 in November of 2022, and like you I have been dreaming of going to the wilds of Alaska to hunt Caribou since I was in my single digits, and this fall it'll finally happen!! Thanks for all of your inspiration. I cannot tell you the emotion and excitement I have as I write this message on your video post. I posted on one of your more recent videos of my bucket list hunt... and this one will be with my son and daughter. Thank you, thank you!!
one of your best episodes in my opinion. I love that country. Have had the privilege of seeing it and hunting and have to say "it majestic" just simply amazing. Often told my friends, "you can hear a Nat fart two miles away there" unless you have been in that country you would never understand.
That's probably the best hunting videos I've ever seen in my young life. The cut of the video, music, visuals. Just perfection! The beginning gave me goosebumps.
Hi, Randy. I ve been following you, here from Germany/ Bavaria and its a blast. I am also hunting here, but its totally different in Germany. Nice to see that kind of hunts in your Channel and learn from it. I also like the story s. Thanks for that. Greeting and Weidmannsheil to ya
This has to be the 4th or 5th time I’ve watched this hunt over the last year. It helps me refocus and remember my goals. It encourages me to continue forward and to dream. Thanks Randy to you and your team.
Randy, I watched the day by day and thought this was an excellent story of a once in a lifetime hunt. Then I got to meet you at the Gerber booth at SHOT Show. Now Watching it again in one full length episode was just as good as the last time. Keep doing what you do for as long as you can do it. You're truly living the dream.
Loved this video. The honesty, the extremely hard terrain and the beautiful thanks you gave for the animals. Randy you're such an inspiration to so many hunters. Thank you for sharing this with us. Congratulations
Wow! Just Wow! That is the stuff of dreams right there. Would so love to do that trip into the Cassia Mountains. Great to hear some good ole kiwi accents on your trip too Randy. Thanks so much for sharing such an awesome video. Love it!
Wow Ive been there 2 times in those mountains. I really didn`t realize how blessed I am to be able to go there not only once but twice. I hunted only for moose and my buddy hunted for caribou grizzlie ,moose and mountain goat. Ive seen all of those in one day. A bonus was a wolverine I called in to 40 yards. It wasn`t shot but very cool to call it in with my voice squeek. Those mountains call my every fall since. I could have gone back 2 years ago and didnt take up the offer. Maybe next year . My buddy lives in BC and we grew up together in Ontario when we were young. Memories of a lifetime for sure. Great video Randy.
Mr. Randy, What a great show you put on. Entertaining, informative and the passion you and your team have for wildlife and the outdoors shows through the camera. Many thanks for all you do.
Dear Randy; thanks a lot for this fantastic video; I just want to add that some years ago I had the good fortune of going for similar hunt in the Yukon (sheep and caribou). I had the exact same feelings you describe. This is why I can assure anyone your video is authentic and sincere. Thanks again. Martin Valles, Barcelona, Spain.
I would say this is the best hunting video I have seen to date. The hunt, scenery, people, animals, country and production were spectacular. We’ll done. Thank you.
Could not have happened to a better fella. Thanks for all you do Mr. Newberg!!! I have never hunted big game, but your humility to the hunt is inspiring. Welcome to Canada!
I had the pleasure to hunt the Cassiar Mountiains twice('13 &'14), they are beautiful. Got a great caribou the first year and struck out on moose the next. Those mountain horses are something else, they can be your best friend!
See there! I told you hunting in the rain is great! Fog helps to hide you and rain covers your movements. Never saw the buck I’m after until hard rain and cool day like what you were in. There’s just something about rainy days that hunting gets real interesting. That was a special and successful hunt for you! Congratulations!!!
Dreams do come true! Wonderful hunting trip for all that was involved. Tough terrain with tough weather conditions and smiles a mile wide! Top notch video.
The quality of your hunts is untouchable sir - great to watch and very respectable. So life like I feel like I am there - Hats off and 10 stars on a five star review, great job
Randy, thanks for sharing a real-life adventure with this displaced whitetail hunter from Western NY watching now from Thailand! I miss the cool/cold weather and hunting almost every w-e Sept-Nov., but mostly rabbits & pheasant, and then hopefully a whitetail, most within an hour of home.

This is simply an outstanding episode! I watched the long-form program of this hunt: it is wonderful how you have distilled and honed a short program from it. Well done! Emmy for all!

Impressive....it was ment to be. How many times have we hunted hard and did all the right things to just come up empty handed, you basically jump on a horse and boom.... awesome video.
New sub. The most incredible hunt I have ever seen. The scenery, the tough slugging, the kills and the people, wow. What great energy, absolutely amazing.
Long time subscriber here. What an awesome adventure, Randy! It’s those little things like shooting an antler off that makes the hunt much more memorable. When you’re an old man some day and no longer able to hunt, you’re going to think back on that ….and chuckle.
The end brought a tear to my eye. Once again; congrats on a great hunt randy. Double thanks for sharing it and documenting it. Marcus-exceptional filmography here
