Fun fact about Conquest: despite the game being a Collab with Nobunaga's Ambition, the character designs are actually taken from Samurai Warriors (SW3 specifically).
Funny enough, recognizing those character designs is also what got me to buy and try out Samurai Warriors 3 for the Wii. Unfortunately, I missed out on a lot of Warriors games since I mostly stick to Nintendo consoles, but this little curiosity is what got me to get hyped at the announcement of Hyrule Warriors and I had a lot of fun with those games. Although I found the huge disconnect between story and gameplay in Age of Calamity very jarring... I actually kinda preferred how dumb the original was and how it wasn't taking itself too seriously. Gameplay was still great, though.
Pokken got a different name in Germany because Pokken sounds a lot like Pocken which is german for Pox (the illness). So it released in Germany as Pokemon Tekken and only there. And Pokemon Go first released in Oceania (Australia, New Zeland and related islands).
Great video, but there's a pretty major inaccuracy at the end: DeNa developed Pokémon Masters EX, so the new TCG mobile game is not their first collaboration with Pokémon
Shadows of Almia is one of my all time favorite games. Destroying my touch screen has never been so fun! I really need to replay Conquest. Haven't really played it since it came out
Pokémon Duel, the spin-off so forgettable even someone researching ALL spin-offs forgot to include it 😂😅 Jokes aside, thanks for the hard work, this was fun to watch. Also, I miss Pokémon Duel, it was actually really fun.
Oh wow, you're right! I actually used to own some of the physical Pokémon Trading Figurines the game I based on but I completely forgot there was a mobile game based on it! I'm happy you still enjoyed the video though!
Would you believe me if I told you there is another spinoff that was missed that is far less well-known? Pokémon Card Game: Asobikata DS was a Japan-only DS game that centered around the TCG. Specifically, it was designed to teach players how to play the game utilizing cards from Gen 5.
Jokes about Pokémon Duel being Thanos'd aside, this is a very good video. There were quite a few of those facts I really didn't know. I'll be cheering for your channel's growth for sure!
The mystery dungeon games are one of my favourite pokemon spin offs, also mostly because Pokemon mystery dungeon blue rescue was my own first pokemon game which I still have,
Actually in Galar’s villain arc in Pokémon Masters EX, Rose and Oleana were the only characters who arrived in Pasio from a time where Rose has yet to cause the Darkest Day whereas the rest of the characters came from a time after the big events happened in their regions
Genius Sonority is responsible for so many Pokemon games (I believe they also developed Cafe). They deserve so much credit for how their games have impacted the franchise!
Umbrella in my opinion was another favorite developer back in the 1990s and 2000s that sadly got shut down around the time Hudson Soft was dissolved, so much of the team that worked at Umbrella went off to other Pokemon studios nearby or went off to other video game studios/retired from the industry/switched jobs, etc. Either way, many players these days may not recognize them for what they did 20 years back except for those who did their research or went on wikipedia to see what other games the pokemon company made in the past.
I remember playing pokemon snap for the first time and being so excited to see what the last level was gonna be. They made it so musterious. I kept imagining this beautiful lush jungle or a cool underwater level or like journey through a bunch of different biomes as you chase down mew. I was so disappointed when i discovered it was just a stupid rainbow cloud. But new Pokemon Snap made all my dreams come true 😊
6:41 I'm gonna guess the devs of this one later went on to apply that sort of gameplay on to the Mario and Luigi series remakes, with Bowser Jr's story. 18:00 Wait for Terapagos to come to Masters EX, and that would make two games to have all four mechanics 19:33 "DeNa, whi has never worked on Pokemon before" Masters EX would like to have a word with you
So many opportunities for spinoffs. I want to see stuff like a sports game or a musou game (they could even set it in Ransei! Perfect place for it!) or maybe give us a farming game where Hayley from Ranch is our mentor! Ranger 2 is the first game to officially use the term "eeveelutions" when Murph asks you to bring him all of them. Though the term now seems to be "Veevees" unless that's exclusive to Penny.
I so want a new Pokémon Pinball and a new Stadium game with all the mini games from the previous two games (updated to include other Pokémon that would fit each mini game).
Pokémon Playhouse and Camp aren't official spin-offs I don't think, more licensed games. Box Ruby and Sapphire I don't consider a game, same with Bank and Home. Unite is included, but Duel I did indeed forget
I do remember Pokemon Duel, except that you had to get these pokemon figures in order to play them, which were also limited on stock and hard to find (much like Nintendo Wii consoles back in the mid to late 2000s)...So the lack of figures to play the game, not to mention having to get specific cards to get the game to work is most likely why the product failed and became obscure and forgotten about....I don't know if, in terms of Pokemon Duel, if it was the figure pokemon ones or just simply the cards by itself....That's where my confusion lies on the two games in 2008/2009...
You achtually forgot about all the games in the Pokémon Mini 🤓🤓🤓 (which would also make the "Pokémon Quest is the only one to be a game inside other Pokémon games incorrect, as the Pokémon Mini appears in Channel) Jokes aside, great great video, with a ton of obscure games and facts I has made me remember some electronic toys I had as a child (do they qualify as "videogames"? I would consider them as such, they have much more dept than just "toys"). Some of them, the cheaper ones, where shaped as a Pokéball with a screen; but I also had one that was far more advanced and worked with interactable figurines and it even had a Gen 4 expansion! (they were created in Gen 3, but once you connected a Gen 4 figurine on it, new Pokémon would start appearing in the game) Would you like to know more? I still have them at my room, so I could search for them and tell you how they are called, so you can investigate a little further. I don't think anyone has ever made a video about them

Fun fact about Conquest: despite the game being a Collab with Nobunaga's Ambition, the character designs are actually taken from Samurai Warriors (SW3 specifically).
This got me to try out Samurai Warriors 5 back in 2022, which was about Nobunaga and Mitsuhide specifically.
@@Garde_MystikI felt the same except when conquest was released it lead me to the samurai warriors series then eventually dynasty warriors.

5:18 That's incorrect. Gates to Infinity also lacks the personality quiz at the beginning.
Pokepark is the only media where you can hear Porygon-Z have an anime voice instead of its cry since its banned from the show
Correction: that's the first game, not the second one.
@@wikiuser92 Oh yeah mb its been a hot minute all I remember is its somewhat near the end

For my German ear, Pokken always sounds like popping... (do I have to explain what popping means?)

People forget it all the time. Totally sucks because that game rocked and I miss it.
IT WAS SO FUN
@@Pichupedia I still have a couple in a drawer somewhere.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE is a "crossover" between Fire Emblem and Shin Megami Tensei, not Persona.
Still, I loved the video, great job Pichupedia!

Yup they did, and they always show beautiful work no matter the kind of game it is

The thought that we could of gotten an Pokemon x SMT/Persona crossover is kinda crazy!
Well, he said the cancelled one was Pokemon x Fire Emblem. But Pokemon x SMT would be cool
@@Kahadi Oh right, guess my Brain made the jump to an SMT crossover because of how neat that would of been. XD
