- On a recent holiday trip to Curacao I decided to bring 3 vintage lenses with me. The Super Takumar 35mm f3.5 for wide and landscape shots. The Pentacon 50mm f1.8 (one of my favorite's) as a nifty fifty, and the 135mm Takumar f3.5 for portaits. Even though the lenses are over 50 years old, I still think they perform very well on a 2022 holiday trip. Which are your lenses (or focal length) of choice when you go abroad for vacation? Also this clip is a must-watch for Bob Marley - One love fans.
Equipment: Sony A7III, Takumar, Pentacon, Pentax Spotmatic, M42 lens, Full Frame
Filming locations: Curacao, Caribbean, Willemstad, Pontjesbrug, Koningin Emmabrug, Corendon Mangrove Beach resort, Hilton, KLM, Schiphol, Hato Airport, Cruiseship, Rottweiler, Bob Marley cover, One love, let's get together and feel alright

I always love your videos ohjajohh - you choose great subjects and create interesting scenes. I love that floating bridge, that looks like fun. I have the same thing with film photography, I use it so sparingly that I put a film in my Zeiss Ikon Contaflex in 2020 and it's still only about half used - maybe one day........
Cheers Tim. Whenever I shoot a video I actually don't think too much about a subject or a story. It's more random shots of daily life. That floating bridge (Queen Emma Bridge) dates back from 1888. I guess that was the easiest and cheapest way to create a bridge back in the days. Walking the bridge does feel a bit like being drunk, especially when there are some waves :)
@@ohjajohh I guess you just have a good eye for shooting random stuff - it definitely works.
I want to try that bridge, it looks fun - I had no idea how old it was, amazing.
Nice video. It looks beautiful.
