Donna Summer is and always will be the best of the singers of all time. I get more and more "in love" with the various interpretations of Mrs. Donna Summer. Her beautiful voice can do different perfomances. And today our dear Donna is in Heaven with Our Good God ... but she continues "always alive" in the "wonderful versions that DJ's provide us with continuously." Donna has performed very difficult songs such as "CON TE PARTIRÓ" by the great master "Andrea Bocelli", passing the masterful tribute to "Edith Piaf" in the song "LA VIE EN ROSE" and managed to "unite" her voice with one of the most acclaimed singers "of all times Mrs. Barbra Streisand" ... and also another beautiful duet with the equally "admirable" Liza Minelli. I can not get enough of listening and clapping to our standing Musa: "Donna Summer". GOD BLESS YOU DONNA GOD BLESS US Forever. Thanks Friends and much hugs of Brazil.
Oh Donna, you keep us coming back....and listening this time I can't help but notice the sharp command your voice had over the band, notably at 2;04 when a slight suggestion and the incredible strength and rise in your vocal power told the guys what you needed and as they caught up to speed. There will always be a you...
Great to see this background/rehearsal video - I miss her so much. She has always been such an inspiration to me as a musician and vocalist and I'll always carry that with me in my heart - beautiful to see that power in her rehearsal as strong as in performance but surely not surprising. I Do Believe I Fell In Love all over again ;-) Thanks for sharing.
Wow. I can't believe that was 11 years ago. I remember trying so hard to win tickets for that show and at the end, did in fact win. Was an amazing show. So cool to see behind the scenes. Wonder what happened with 'Nobody can love you the way I do'? Thanks for posting.
Since the late 70's when i used to DJ at one of the two Bombay discotheques, Donna Summer has remained the eternal QUEEN OF DISCO and made the world dance at her feet with her stunning voice and hit after hit dance tunes. Even today she remains the undisputed DIVA and there is no doubt about this. Still enjoying her dance songs now on You Tube-Darcy Dinshaw. Mumbai
@rossnumberone2 Yes. NY radio station 103.5 KTU was giving away tickets. You had to be the 103rd caller and then you won tickets. I tried so many times before I won. It would have been easier if they just sold tickets to this show!
@Jacca783 How did you get the tickets? I mean, was it in a contest or anything? I have read that it was something that has to do with the song "On the Radio" and, in fact, at the beginning of the song she said "I know all of you know this because you wouldn't be here otherwise". Since then I have always wanted to know how this audience could get their tickets. Thanks in advance ;)
Donna could sing anything. Remember when Barbra Streisand asked her to fill in for her at an awards show and sing "Father, Can You Hear Me"? She did a wonderful job. Here's a couple more songs she performed well- 1999 - Star Spangled Banner ruclips.net/video/vK9R87LJq5w/видео.html & 2004 God Bless America ruclips.net/video/7zmhZNSIOEo/видео.html

Better than the version on Live And More Encore . And I like that wig better 😂😜😉
I love donna always. However, is Bruce really playing that guitar? He may have been just a loveable prop in her career. No hate. Just saying.
I always thought she worked hard for the money
