    Tour is $700 per person in case anyone’s wondering

  • @Goatchees3
    @Goatchees3 13 дней назад +23

    The cost for the boat tour is $700 AUD per person which is just a little bit less than $500 USD per person for those curious to the pricing. Pretty fair price for an 8 hour tour plus all that fresh sea food

    Abalone these days are small compared to when I was a kid. When I was like13 or 14 in the mid 90s a truck broke down by the beach er were at and couldn't get fixed in time, so the driver started just giving away the Abalone in the back of the truck. They were probably 3 to 4 times that size. A few years later, Abalone got heavily regulated due to overfishing, but they never really bounced back to the same sizes they were.

    • @crippskywalk
      @crippskywalk 15 дней назад +3

      Its probably because they take them long before they can get to those sizes

      There are around 300 native species of truffles in Australia. There are red, pink, yellow, white, purple and brown truffles here.

    It's a great idea to recycle the oyster shells. They started doing that here in The Chesapeake Bay region. So far they have planted 11.5 Billion Oysters. As well as built or repopulated 83% of the older Oyster reefs. Been a fan of raw oysters since I was three or four.

Just as I used to cook them - you have tenderize them beforehand, quite correct. The Crayfish - as we call them here - also look delish!! Well to be fair, this is essentially a food review channel and umami is basically a way to describe a dish's savoriness(especially dishes with meat and/or mushrooms) and since most of the foods he tries/reviews is savory, it's almost impossible for him to describe a whole 20-30min video worth of different foods/meals/dishes without using the word "umami" ‼️🤷🏾‍♂️🤣🤣🤣🤦🏾‍♂️😭😭💀💯...

Since it's a delicacy in Asia, it's been poached to death and exported . I think i need to visit Australia for some abalone
