I just want to say thank you. My grandfather passed away last year, and we would always watch your videos together. Thank you for doing what you do, even if it is just eating food, it makes my day.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm facing losing my dad, so even though everyone's pain is different, I almost know what you are feeling. Keep gim in your heart, as I'm sure you already do.
Speaking as a Nova Scotian who has eaten many a just-cooked lobster on a picnic table in the open air with my bare hands and nothing more than melted butter and a cold beer, there is nothing sillier than seeing a lobster with gold leaf on it. 🤣🤣
The holes in the brick bread probably also help it bake evenly. Larger layered breads can be doughy in the middle. This design keeps any part of it from being to thick!
The presentation is stunning. I love the pride and attention to detail these Korean chefs take in their food. Mikey I love watching your videos in Korea. In future please please please link the name of the restaurants and addresses. This is important for helping to support local businesses. Also it would be helpful for us if you listed the prices. This lobster feast looks amazing, but if it costs $300 it might not be affordable for a lot of your viewers.
11:15 Dancing Lobster Restaurant is so unique. I think I've never seen such a combination of dishes and food decorations!! Mike! Thank you for introducing such a unique and special lobster restaurant.❤
Traveled to pretty much all of Asia and SK is easily one of my favorite places. Has the heartiest foods and everything's just so fresh. You should also visit Morocco (country in North Africa). Amazing food and adventure.
The donuts and brick bread looked most appealing, and I'd want to at least try the seafood and the lobster ramen, for sure. Eating things that are still moving might take some doing on my part, though, NGL! Isn't it the case that the bigger the lobster is, the less sweet it is, though?
Am I the only one who dies a little bit inside, whenever a great dish is desecrated by gold leaf? =( Also on a positive note, Mike is really brave with some of those meals, when I saw the live lobster I was like "I am not that brave.".
"I can't believe this is a set meal for two, it could easily feed four", or, one hungry Mikey 😂 I'd love that, I'm having a cheap ass version for dinner tomorrow. No lobster or Abalone though unfortunately.
Sounds like an unbelievably good seafood restaurant! The ambiance must be fantastic, and it's making my mouth water! I'm heading to the Namsan Hyatt Hotel for a staycation this weekend. I'll definitely check out this restaurant. Thank you for the info~
I loved it when you jumped and said "oh my God it's moving! lol Such an honest reaction. You are a lot braver than I am. I will never eat something that's still moving. It's just freaky!
He won't provide an update. Neither were his own restaurant. Shaku Ramen opened but then he eventually parted ways with them. They wound up closing. Karne BBQ opened as well but he also parted ways with them for unknown reasons.
Your videos are a great reminder that there are so many things in the world that are worth trying especially the yummy food that you eat :-) I love your videos 🤤❤️
Great video, I wish for you to visit North Korea to try food there, it would be interesting to see some of the differences in gastronomy from South and North Korea, that would be pretty awesome
Mike: Waffles on for three paragraphs about a macha mochi donut Also Mike: Hmm cheesecake, this might be my favourite Three paragraphs destroyed by two words.....

rip
I’m sorry for your loss. I lost my mom last year and we use to watch Mikey together too. May you find comfort in your memories of him.
You don't care about us. Do you pay for your mealss
awe so sweet !
Speaking as a Nova Scotian who has eaten many a just-cooked lobster on a picnic table in the open air with my bare hands and nothing more than melted butter and a cold beer, there is nothing sillier than seeing a lobster with gold leaf on it. 🤣🤣
just makes me think you're about to pay extra for them to put arts and crafts materials on a plate
New Brunswicker here and I couldn't agree more.
The holes in the brick bread probably also help it bake evenly. Larger layered breads can be doughy in the middle. This design keeps any part of it from being to thick!
Mike, you have come a long way over the years from not liking raw food, to eating raw worms. Good for you. Thanks for sharing.
even broccoli in his lobster XD
@@amandakucserathat’s what I noticed too, lmao
I feel like a proud parent watching Mike chow down on raw food like sashimi gate never happened.
😂😂 Mikey not you jumping and getting scared when you're food was moving 😂😂😂😂
No restaurants listed in the description.
It's there.
@@mandy11254Probably wasn't there at the time they made their comment. But it is there now.
Oops just noticed that only the lobster place is listed.
I would love a croissant brick with turkey,cheese,lettuce,mayo n tomatoes sandwich..would b a whole meal
Yummy
that lobster / seafood feast looks so good!

Wow! The ending ! That would be my last meal request if I was walking the line 😂

Mike! Thank you for introducing such a unique and special lobster restaurant.❤
Yo Mickey, you still married? And what's up with those restaurants you said you were opening? 😊
The restaurants are opened i believe but it was never his. It was like some sort of partnership and he’s not apart of it
I think one of them shut down.
한국 맛집을 여기서 알아가네요 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 공유해주셔서 감사합니다!!
I’ve always loved your videos over the years

Hope we get to see a Japanese Denny’s video
I'd like to see that too, for sure!
Hear me out, that flaky brick pastry but flavored like garlic bread OMG with a big piece of Lasagna or a big pile of spaghetti and meatballs 😋🤤🤤😋

Adds no flavor and raises the price. One of the most useless things for food.
Thank you for introducing a great restaurant in Korea
When he started eating the raw lobster, my heart skipped a beat😅
hey guys mike chen here
No no no…. Moving things… no thanks! 😮😂😮 and cooked lobster for me, thanks! That looked delish! That lobster ramen…..oh yum!
I wonder how much all the Lobsters costs? I'm sure it's far from cheap but I doubt he's paying for it! Good for him!!
"I can't believe this is a set meal for two, it could easily feed four", or, one hungry Mikey 😂 I'd love that, I'm having a cheap ass version for dinner tomorrow. No lobster or Abalone though unfortunately.
What is the name of the lobster restaurant?
해천어부
haecheonobu
So wasn’t expecting the live octopus to taste good.
It looks healthy and delicious ^^
no prices wow I bet big time
He said we couldn't afford it anyway.
Ow my GOD its moving 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
15:00 live octopus 🐙 😮😮 omg it’s moving
It's actually dead, but the nerves keep it moving for a while after.
Sounds like an unbelievably good seafood restaurant! The ambiance must be fantastic, and it's making my mouth water! I'm heading to the Namsan Hyatt Hotel for a staycation this weekend. I'll definitely check out this restaurant. Thank you for the info~
Your comments explain the video very well.
Hey Mike. It seems like it's been awhile. But a well prepared lobster course. Do enjoy! Have a blessed Friday and weekend.. ❤️🐞🌹
Always enjoy watching your Seoul eats!! The bakery items are so unique and look delish!!
It so beautifully labster food. Great!!❤❤
So many unique food concepts!
love the video ~~
You 🎉 drink coffee now WOW next week broccoli 🥦😂😂 love your videos Peter cape town south Africa looking forward to seeing you soon
Mike Chen ordering a course for two to avoid food regret? Naw definitely not the usual.
I SWEAR I saw Mikey eat broccoli 🥦 I'm crazy, they say I am but I swear I saw it! 😮😂
I was just thinking this same thing 😭😭
My biggest complaint is that I was not the one eating those lobsters. 😄🤤
The best part of the Haecheon Fish Department in Jongno
I loved it when you jumped and said "oh my God it's moving! lol Such an honest reaction. You are a lot braver than I am. I will never eat something that's still moving. It's just freaky!
a bit overboard in my mind...
I'm wondering..what ever happened with the restaurant(s) you were going to open? Are they open, on hold for now..?
He won't provide an update. Neither were his own restaurant. Shaku Ramen opened but then he eventually parted ways with them. They wound up closing. Karne BBQ opened as well but he also parted ways with them for unknown reasons.
Ahh, gotcha. Thanks for the update!
Isn't "addicting" not "addictive" at 3:42? 😂
Can you please share pricing?
Yo, Where do we get pastry like that in Saint Louis area?
Mikey the octopus is not actually alive. It is dead, but the nerves keep it moving for a while after.
That could have fed all three of our boys, and maybe left some for us. 😂 21:11
What’s the place called for the lobster?
Haecheonobu
11 Supyo-ro 28-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul, South Korea
I don't like it when they put instant noodles in these 'supposedly' expensive dishes. It sort of cheapens the whole dinning experience.
Just watching you eat them, made me gain weight 😂
The fried mochi looks good but I’m not sure that it qualifies as a doughnut…
It’s made out of dough and it’s shaped like a nut. Plus deep fried. So I think it qualifies
I’ve never seen you jump before because your food was moving. Lol
Sea cucumbers taste hard and snappy? Since when did hard and snappy become flavors?
Since umami is banned, dude got no words to describe his food😂😂😂
That matcha donut did me in, hurry up and get to the lobster
A Korean brick pastry , now that's something new .💀💀💀💀👽😎😎😀😯😉😈😈😈😈😉😯
still remember when Mikey wasn't even into eating sushi because of the raw fish... look at him now eating stuff that still moves 🤣
You do know that lobsters are bottom feeders? tremendous content as usual, keep up the good work
Always goes to the best places!!!! Looking forward to the next one.
😎👍🏻👍🏻
I bet a part of the price is paying for labor in a premium area and not because of the cost of ingredients.
Your videos are a great reminder that there are so many things in the world that are worth trying especially the yummy food that you eat :-) I love your videos 🤤❤️
Good looking dishes 👍...you always manage to find some fantastic hidden gems...enjoy Mikie 😘🤗❤
That lobster claw...yeah...I could be friends with that guy
Those donuts aren't doing it for me...
Have you tried mochi donuts before? They are great!
Yeee perfect timing. 😸
IT'S ALIVE🤣😂🤣😂
Awesome
Call me squeamish, but I don't think I could eat my food if it was moving of its own accord.
You need to hook up with chief Yia vang from Minnesota and do a video of Hmong food
Love you, Mike, but I'm not eating anything raw (other than veggies )or anything that is moving.😊
Please go back in the Philippines Mike
Absolutely tasty tasty LOBSTER RAMEN 😋🍜
I've never had abalone. Does it taste fishy or is it sweet, like scallops?
Yummy
Happy eating, Mike! 😋👋🏼
I am board at 1:59........
I would like to see them do garlic butter brick croissants
Great video, I wish for you to visit North Korea to try food there, it would be interesting to see some of the differences in gastronomy from South and North Korea, that would be pretty awesome
What food in North korea? 😂
Wow, nice food
Mike: Waffles on for three paragraphs about a macha mochi donut
Also Mike: Hmm cheesecake, this might be my favourite
Three paragraphs destroyed by two words.....
That bread session musta been 10k calories...
mike it's food?
Thats a lot of bread.
Hey Mike! Love your content! 💜🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Come to my home. I don't know if it's gokd.
This has to be one of the most appetizing seafood vid you've ever done 😮😊
Omg look at that belly
13:37, so..... many garnish, it's excessive
❤❤❤
I'll pass on the still moving food.
I’m pretty sure-diabetic now so I can’t eat sugars and carbs anymore. I’ll just watch you eat.
