Thank you guys! Ya'll Rock. Love the videos!
I end up always talking too much LOL :)
I tested out of college and have a BA. I also have 4 FCC licenses that no longer seem good enough to get a job with, so I am here.
great video waiting on part 2!
+Jesus Vega Thank you. Part 2 is coming out today sometime.
Starting next week I will be studying for the MTA certification and the Java Oracle Programmer 1 certification and in the following weeks I will be learning how to develop apps on the Android OS; do you have any input, advice, job-related inquiries that you could potentially make into a video???
Wow, Thank you very much. Very great video :)). I'm gonna do what I love to do.
+yoko yaka Keep on keeping on! Thank you!
great video guys i am studying right now for my A+ i will be taking the test sometime this year. keep up the videos they really help
+Manny Roman Thank you and good luck to you! If you have any questions please feel free to ask!
+PC Simplest thank you so much you guys rock.
@@Itcareerquestions you said dont waste your time. Well If you want to get technical I dont want to ever work but we have to. None of us would do any of this if we hit the lottery for 100 million dollars. So I'm saying no one truly wants to do this. The very few rare would want to still learn any Microsoft, comptia, or cisco certifications if they won the lottery. To say you truly love this your telling me you would still do it even after being that rich. Then it's not your true passion your doing it for a job too.
i actually wish this video was longer. it was both informative and fun
I have a couple of videos about things you should know getting into I.T. One is like 18 minutes long!
Great video. I have my A+ im currently in POS Helpdesk. Im trying to do something besides help desk like pc deployment or programming.
It just seems like im going nowhere!!!!! Advice would be appreciated.
Love Chris Davis..wish he was making more Sys Admin videos to help support people move into Sys Admin roles.
he is going to be putting out some new videos very soon.
+Tonya Brown Thanks! More is coming!
Great video channel as always just one thing about education if people are going to do a bachelor's degree in it then it should be balanced equally with practical modules baked into it they are usually the best ones the ones that don't nowhere near as good. Having said all that even if you do plenty of practicals as part of a program which is a must that doesn't necessarily mean you're going to be able to do it straight away in the real world because systems and software are quite different in the way they are integrated and often caused problems that you may not realise.
Me on the other hand I have both academics and practical experience from 3rd line second line and now cybersecurity and yes my qualifications did help somewhat especially in my current position within the infosec. Infosec they tend to want people with a relatively good College education maybe not so much in desktop support which can be just as challenging. At the end of the day experience experience sorry for babbling
What is IT? Is it service desk? Is is desktop support? Windows/Mac/Linux? Server? Desktop? Support? Managed environment? Networking? Active directory? Cloud AWS Azure? Programming? Dev Ops?
IT is not a job or even career. It is a vocation and a lifestyle.
Nice work on this one Zach and Chris! Next time, PLEASE toss me in via Hangouts or SKYPE...LOL! Seriously, I'd say one of the most important things you should know before getting into IT is that it's a field that constantly changes which requires you to constantly continue learning as technology evolves. If your someone who does not adapt well to change (often change at that), then this may not be the field to you. You can NEVER know enough and WILL NEVER know enough in I.T.
+Lewis Beasley I'm making Chris get a hold you soon. Maybe we can plan something next week.
+Lewis Beasley 100% Accurate
I go to RUclips University often, however, I am going the traditional rout with my IT education.
Woooh nice Videos ... From the poor place in the philippines. I will Learn more and share info. for my fellow Filipino who cant afford to go to School.
Edward Carmona If you have access to the internet your golden. Good luck 👍
How to drink out of a glass I almost fell off my bed. Haha this guy is funny and has good energy.
Love the video i have recently graduated with a degree but i found it no where near as useful as actually encountering problems and learning to fix them thats how got into it :D can be as simple as a friend or family member saying they have a problem. google really helps as well of course haha
+Eoin Marwick Thank you! Yeah that is definitely so true. There's only so much you can learn in school until you get into the real world job life. Google is great!
LOL @ Zach 7:45
Chris: "thats a challenge, find a video for drinking out of a glass"
Zach: "done"
Haha.
Great video. Would love to see an interview with a woman in the field and her life in IT.
you know what, I think I can make that happen. let me talk with her and I'll see what I can do.
email me please when you get time. pcsimplest@gmail.com I have some questions for you.
Plz try your best to fix the audio/visual.... The two are clearly not in sync so I want to follow what you're saying but at the same time I'm super annoyed
+Sheila Anne Yeah I know, I exported this video about 3 times because of different issues. This was the final one and I said screw it. It's good background noise I guess.
audio is out of sync..
you're not a night person unless you're going to bed between the hours of 2am and 4am.
I've gone to bed at 9am. Now to find an Cybersecurity job that allows me to do that more often!
