good enough is a feeling when you feel not good enough that mean you in appathy or indifferent to people or situations. So you can not appropriate defend yourself. But what does it mean when you don´t care about some people, because some always want or need to provoke other to prove something. People have to take there power back and focus what the want not others. We have one life and we no longer have to to live in co-dependence of others. One is never good enough through the eyes, opinions and thoughts of others. People can do what they want but you have to cut out the Weeds in life.
We feel even more, "not good enough" when we are already feeling down. In a down space it is easier to beat ourselves up than lift ourselves up. When you find yourself in a down space, try not to make any judgments or decisions about you as those almost always are disempowering. Instead do your best to just make it through the day and then when you are feeling better, then you can look at any changes you would like to make in your life. Some people aren't a contribution to you and your life. For those people I don't see at as "not caring about them" instead just not caring more than is a contribution. So you aren't wishing them bad, but just not using your limited energy on them.
