Great video and instructions; even 12 years later! Tell you what: I bought this Maytag dryer in 2001 and it served our family great for over 23 years. This is the first time I had to open it. Boy I took the opportunity to do some deep cleaning inside there. There were some serious dirt and lint in there. This video saved me from having to buy a new dryer (like my wife wanted). They just don't make them like they used to any more. Thanks!
Legit everything this person said above! Same for me today. BOY did I think just changing the filter actually did much. 😅 Unclogged a lot. Good info. Thank you!!
Thanks for helping a lady feel somewhat liberated by fixing a 12 yr old dryer for her mother who was ready to just go buy another one. It took several attempts to get that belt around the pulley, a little tricky to say the least....you have to use a little mind over matter, when your doing it blindly & backward....Good as New!!
Sir, this is the best "How to do it" video I've ever watched. Thank you for sharing & helping your fellow man. I wish your business was here in Miami!! Honesty can be so difficult to find...
I looked at them all. Your video was the clearest. And yes, it took me four tries to hook up the the belt but it sure beat taking the whole damn thing apart. You win Angel. Well done.
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!! If I would have checked this out first, I would have saved the expense of calling someone to do it and I DID IT RIGHT!

Thank you. This video was the only thing helpful on how to repair the belt. As someone barely getting by with children, you saved me a bunch of money, thanks. One question though. I got the dryer running, but now that I plugged it back in, I hear a humming noise coming from the control panel. It's not very loud, but it sounds like an internal timer or something. Do you know what is causing this noise. Bill

Thank you, Angel Acevedo, for helping the rest of us to fix our broken appliances. Love your videos!
Good video, straight and to the point. I would add that while the dryer is apart. Grab the shop and clean out the inside.

Thank you! Great video. Took longer to clean out the caked in lint than the install itself 😄
Thanks, Mr. Acevedo: Clear instructions & excellent video. Done in 10 minutes - and I'm a full-on amateur at this kind of thing.

It worked! Fourteen dollars and thirty minutes later (if even that), our dryer is good as new! Great video. Thanks!!
$11.12 here, counting tax. The drive to get the belt took longer than fixing it. :)
I just fixed my dryer thanks to you! It costs me a $10 belt. Thank you!!!
Thank you, second belt change using this video as the guide, great detail and 2 the point.
This video showed me exactly what I needed to do! $15 dollar belt and some elbow grease and the dryer is running like new!

Thank you! ❤
How do you find the right belt to replace the broken one? Is there a universal belt size for Maytag dryers?
Try this one
