Hi can You tell Me where the thermal Fuse is on this Model? I have the same Dryer Loved it but Now it will not come on. No access in back pannel. Thanks. Kay
Man I've replaced every dang thermostat and thermal fuse and checked every wire. Cleaned it up, found another dryer for parts and have replaced everything new still nothing 🤬💔🤬 I'm about to blow it up with tannerite 💥 💥
Maytag Performa dryer, MDE2500AYW, has worked great the 18 years we’ve had it and I beleive I can get another 10 out of it. This January the jumper wire on the heater element burnt up. I replaced it and the dryer started heating up again. Two weeks ago same wire burnt again. I’m thinking is there something else. Heater element looks fine no damage, no rust or cracks in the coil. I will like to send you a picture I took.
Always remove one wire from the circuit when doing continuity tests, never use the foil venting or plastic venting. Number one failure of dryer is bad venting.
Hi thanks for the HELP! Also where can I find parts to replace the Cotten holder and etc. The handle for it broke so as the sheet
How do you check the thermal fuse? I had om's on both the coil and thermostat
