She's very lucky to have a fiber artist willing to put all that effort into making her a lace wedding dress. I hope she treasures it. The dark circles around your eyes say everything about the long days pulled to get this done! It was so informative to see how this lace was made. Great job!
The top turned out really beautiful and “romantic”… it could have very easily seemed poorly made for how complicated it is to make but you really nailed it! This must have given you a lot of confidence 💪🏻💪🏻 I wish you to grow your channel more and more! You’re very passionate and creative and that shows in your videos A LOT! Thanks for inspiring me 💙💙💙
enrico!! thank you so much for leaving your comment❤️ i totally see it, this technique is soo time consuming, if i started cutting corners to make it a bit faster if could have looked bad😓 i’m so glad i’m able to help inspire you🤍🤍
I legit cried at your reveal, it’s so beautiful! Especially considering the time crunch you had, I can empathize with that having done my best friend’s wedding dress, 3 flower girl dresses, and my own bridesmaid dress for her wedding. I was still finishing stuff the morning of the wedding!!
Just found your channel through your insta reel about this dress. Your videos are absolutely fantastic, your work is incredible, and your channel is a true hidden gem!!
I'm impressed by the amount of techniques you're able to do. Watching the lace being done was my favorite part. Long time ago I did some lace, few times (crocheted one and frivolité), but they were just very small projects. But you did the whole garment, wow! The amount of work is huge. It's beautiful. Also kudos to your cousin for giving you this creative opportunity, having faith in you and then liking the result! This was the first video of yours I've seen (shortly after it was released) and I subscribed and watch your videos since then. I wish you all the good.
@@caroleenascloset I think we are often hardest on ourselves. But you really accomplished a lot, I’m sure your learned a lot along the way, and the end result was so beautiful. The next thing will be even better 🩵
This is so SO beautiful! You did an amazing job!! 👏👏👏 Also (without wanting to sound like an armchair psychologist) I have ADHD and all your issues with time management sound very familiar! I know how hard it can be on someone's psyche to think that you can finish a task in a specific amount of time and end up having massively underestimating the time it actually needs. I fully empathize and I hope that, whatever you do to combat this, you mainly focus on being kind with yourself because these occurrences usually add up and can really take a toll on you. Much love and, again, AMAZING JOB! 🥰
heyy!! i mostly used elena rugal studio, she has some good video on specific stitches :)) i liked her video on the cards and on the description of the other lace video i posted a couple of weeks back!!
I really wish that you consider making the sleeves in the same material of the top because that’s the main feature that she wanted modesty in the church.. but overall, I really love the top, but the sleeves that were actually made that worse. Congratulation for her wedding and you really did a great job.
I do agree that the sleeves in the romanian lace would look incredible!! although she did want the outfit to be wearable outside the church too, i think that’s why i didn’t even consider the long sleeves in the technique, that and the hot weather we thought it would have!! but i do see where you’re coming from! thank youu🤍

@@caroleenasclosetYeah, really. The internet is so full of fake and “dead” content that it feels reeeally good to witness actual passion 💜

Beautiful work! Your cousin looked great on her wedding day too! Congratulations to you both!💙🙏
You did an awesome job. The scalloped edges made a big difference. Congratulations to both of you.

Could you add extra trim on the bottom of the top to give it more length if your cousin wishes to wear it for other occasions.
yess!! i think i’ll do that when she gets back!!
Can you recommend any sites/videos on the Romanian lace :)?

I'm commenting extra all over your channel for the algorithm. COME ON ALGORITHM GODS KICK HER DOWN. 😂🙏
Cómo se llama la técnica con la que se ha hecho el top? Gracias
El diseño es precioso ❤

How have u blocked the crochet part?
no! the crochet part is only the scalloped edge! the rest is Romanian point lace, I don't think you need to block this technique :)
Are you married??
