I love the Pisces line. A really practical ship no matter the size of your fleet. I upgraded mine to the C8R when that came out, and now upgraded it to a Medical Terrapin. I plan on upgrading to an Apollo Medivac eventually, and I haven't flown the C8R since the Nursa came out.
Anvil has never been my favourite ship brand in this game, but I recently got an arrow as a loaner for the Hull-B (alongside the Hull-A) and I have to say it has been one of the best pvp experiences I've had in a while
I've received tier 1 injuries an number of times without being downed... but it still hurts! The Terrapin Medivac is great. Definitely was not a fan of the original Terrapin. However, the Terrapin Medivac is missing a cargo grid (a 1x2x2 should be doable!), passenger jump seat, and possibly an (externally accessible) medical hover stretcher.
I am waiting for tomorrow’s sale. Hopefully I can fill in the last gap (reclaimer) in my current cci chain from a nomad to a 600i Explorer with all but 3 out of 15 upgrades being warbond. Then on to a Polaris if I can get a carrack and A2 warbond!
I was expecting the PALADIN to be the next size up from the VALKYRIE and be able to carry an ATLAS Chassis. It looks like its meant to escort VALKYRIES down to a hot LZ and provide covering fire. I feel the standard SABRE is better overall for a stealth fighter. Way less cross section but has a little less firepower.
There aren't many ships I'm currently willing to consider putting real money into, and most of them are Drake ships - the Terrapin is one of them, though. I just love its style, I can't wait to see the reality of the gameplay it's designed for. I'd also like to see more variants of it, I think the medical version is just as interesting even if there are other ships that perform the same role better and/or cheaper. I could see maybe a light freight version made for the intention of smuggling or something, just kind of build off the scouting focus of the original.
The terrapin medic feels so over priced compared to cutty red. Not sure I could justify it just for bunker runs. Something I would definitely buy in game though.
Price aside, I think the terrapin medic needs at least one more seat to accommodate the combat medic role. This would allow it to carry at least two combat medics in addition to the pilot.
I love the Valkyrie, tried her out during IAE and I love how bulky she looks, with those massive Vtol engines ... just wish there was a cargo version, like for resupply in a combat zone or something
@@schlagzahne6741 or that, it comfortably fitted 4x8SCU boxes on each side when I just put them in and you still had the middle as a walkway and I bet you could make it at least 3SCU high ... so around 96 SCU if my math is correct
The information on the Ghost and Tracker are limited on guns, it seems there is a cap for the top turret and also a spot for nose turret but its not listed on their spec sheet. Might be something to research.
I wanted an F7 varient so bad. But I cant justify the purchase of a ship that was broken in the recent patch. 2 Guns is all you get for the f7c atm, total ripoff at $175
I was more interested in the f8. The f8 was there, then not there. It wasn't offered for a ship upgrade, but as a standalone. That sucked because i wanted to lti it. Oh well. Bought it before it disappeared. Sure enough, it did disappear again.
Picked up a Crucible CCU after one of your earlier vids on the topic. Completely agree that it's undervalued. No idea when we'll get repair gameplay though as I can't remember the last time it was mentioned. Also picked up a Liberator CCU for much the same reason.
I gotta say I'm highly disappointed in this year's IAE. The only 2 ships I was really interested and The Guardian. I didn't even know about the Paladen that until about halfway through I think I found out on Drake day. And when I finally did see what the power it was again highly disappointed it's just a redeemer or rather what the redeemer used to. And I'm not giving up my redeemer! So my money will be saved in my wallet. And I will sit here and wait until they finally decide to release The Guardian which will probably come around in victus.
The Terrapin Medic was perfect for me because its price point slotted perfectly into my Apollo CCU chain. Needed something cheaper than an Andromeda to chain to from a Retaliator. I figure the Terrapin would probably be a better temporary medical ship anyways over the Cutlass Red Loaner.

I can't wait to see the new ship reviews.
anvil has a very consistent design style, i like that
I'm excited to hear whatever you have cooking for next month!
Anvil has never been my favourite ship brand in this game, but I recently got an arrow as a loaner for the Hull-B (alongside the Hull-A) and I have to say it has been one of the best pvp experiences I've had in a while
I do like the styling of anvil ships they have something about them that is just appealing
I like the idea of the Liberator - I just wish it could legitimately carry something bigger, mid-large size.
I've received tier 1 injuries an number of times without being downed... but it still hurts!

it was good to have more options with these Warbonds. Hopefully the finally will be good to all of us.
Thank you for These iae Vids
Mixed feeling about the Paladin, but we will have to see. I think I am going to wait to know more about it.
Little sad they didn't tempt us with a Paladin WB CCU to reel the whales in who were upset with the rest of the CCU's this IAE.

So far, no new money spent for me this IAE, which is a welcomed surprise haha

I was surprised, I kinda like the new Paladin ship I like the overall aesthetic
And was a good day today, and I didn't get anything. Hopefully some of the sales stick around over the next few days
The Paladin really should be available as a Warbond CCU, even a $10-$20 savings would be tempting just to lock in a price and feel good about it.

Man, the Paladin would be so much cooler if they hadn't clipped the wings on the Redeemer to make it shine
Great video..tnx for info :)
Given the number of warbond CCUs floating out there, you should be able to get a LTI Paladin for around 200-210.
The Ballista can fit on the Polaris if you drive it on backwards, but the Centerion wont. havent tried the Spartan yet
I was looking at the med pen and my first thought was "it's a C8R but bigger."
Anvil has a very nice clean design.
Terrapin medic has a warbond ccu upgrade at 200 so its very easy to get at 155-165 using just IAE ccu's, including both hornets which are $20 off
I love the Valkyrie, tried her out during IAE and I love how bulky she looks, with those massive Vtol engines ... just wish there was a cargo version, like for resupply in a combat zone or something
Or maybe removing the artificial limitation of "1scu high"
@@schlagzahne6741 or that, it comfortably fitted 4x8SCU boxes on each side when I just put them in and you still had the middle as a walkway and I bet you could make it at least 3SCU high ... so around 96 SCU if my math is correct
Just got my LTI Carrack today my favorite ship
The information on the Ghost and Tracker are limited on guns, it seems there is a cap for the top turret and also a spot for nose turret but its not listed on their spec sheet. Might be something to research.
anvil my favourite brand, with their cubic, aggressive look
I had no idea the Legionnaire was a thing. Now I know.
40:30 i hope it does also have some cargo aswell, then it will probably be my daily driver
Finally got to pick me up an F8C!
Thanks for all your videos, keep up the great work
Really wish the paladin had some other non combat utility. Thing is sweet, but...
I picked up the intrepid for lti token and a hornet mk2 ghost ccu
I'm sure the palla will be the same price as the redeemer when it's released.
New medipin looking kinda nice. Kinda tempted to ccu my referral to f7c/a but i also want heavy fighter so not sure if i want both.
nice CCU today! filling out some chains pretty good thanks to this.
07, good as always!
The paladin looks sick but it does kinda bug me that it’s basically an upgraded redeemer. (Only because the redeemer got screwed)
A TAC as christmas gift would be nice🎉
“Talk is Cheap, Ninjas Leap.”
Another banger
ty for the infos
ty for the vid
I was able to ccu to the terrapin medic warbond.
They are slowly making anvil my favorite ship manufacturer
I've been a little meh on this IAE. I got a few ccu's but couldn't open my wallet for any of the other ships.
Been waiting to pick up the terrapin, but the terrapin medic really has be wondering if it is a good enough upgrade from the C8R
Paladin is so pretty. Packs a huge punch. Does one thing: punch.
the carrack only has one Tier 2 bed, not two medical beds at all. otherwise nice video, thank for this
Honestly I really like the paladin.
Got my stealth hornet! Love this thing. I am thinking of melting my MSR for a andromeda though. Thoughts anyone?
I miss IAE already!
I wanted an F7 varient so bad. But I cant justify the purchase of a ship that was broken in the recent patch. 2 Guns is all you get for the f7c atm, total ripoff at $175
I'm so unsure of what to CCU to. :/
Not bad, but still can't believe no warbond CCU for the new ship. Given CIG's track record, it won't be coming out for a couple of years.
Paladin awesome sauce 😊
I’m so conflicted f7a or ghost
I’m closing my last ccu chain to Zeus MR for 2024. Probably I’m done 😅
I think I’m into the paladin
I'm doing standalone buy backs for the Crucible, Ironclad, Endevor, and Liberator. I expect them all to jump up in price at release.
Finally, Anvil!
I was more interested in the f8. The f8 was there, then not there. It wasn't offered for a ship upgrade, but as a standalone. That sucked because i wanted to lti it. Oh well. Bought it before it disappeared. Sure enough, it did disappear again.
you cant lti a f8c that was over a year ago when it was announced.
@@Astelch There is supposed to be a BIS pack with the F8 if you have unlocked it earlier. The guess is the pack will be $1k with LTI
The f8 showed up again and ended up buying it.

so the paladin looks like a better Valkyrie, and a better redeemer.
Sticking with the Redeemer - faster, nimbler, better range and flexibility. Won’t go toe to toe as well but does a heap else
Purchased the Paladin as soon as I saw it, I love the Valk and this seems to be a good gunboat!
I gotta say I'm highly disappointed in this year's IAE. The only 2 ships I was really interested and The Guardian. Guardian is announced for 4.0
@CraigPaschang Oh I know but we probably won't see it until invictus
Maybe you are just jaded
I feel the same way, I'm happy anvil gets a fancy ship but I'm not hyped like I was when the faterpillar showed up
The CCUs were really good today.
Prospector->F7CR/S->MedTerrapin ->Starlancer Max is a nice little chain.
We really need a Rework on Ground Weaponized Veicles on Star citizen, now don't worth ivest money on any kind due this really poor vunerability
They left the best for the last day, love most of these ships.
Finishing out some good CCU chains
The terrapin medic just seems like an overly priced, fat C8R. Even if the bed is level 2, It needs a couple of them. The space feels poorly used.
The Paladin is making me rethink what ships I want in my fleet ngl….
Tonk! :)
Paladin love lol 😂
Perseus 👉👈
Hope I win!
RELEASE THE LIBERATOR
o7
Mixed feelings about IAE so far, sad no relevant WBs, happy no new money spent.
Couldn’t agree more
