I know the misc style isn’t for everyone but the fact that you can make a fleet entirely out of their ships that cover pretty much every major gameplay loop is such a cool thing in my eyes
Personally, I like the Origin 315P explorer purchased with the optional XC package (which adds ballistics and class B stealth components). It's interceptor speed, 12 SCU of cargo, fuel capacity, and stealth signature make it one of the best drug runners in the game.
Good picks. The carrack still has a lot to be great, but even at its current state it indeed sets a bar for other ships to live up to. The corsair is another good contender, i loved that ship from the early concept days and it has never really disappointed me. Misc has been making some interesting ships more recently and their interiors have evolved so much. Consolidated is one id love to see more from, i love their interioirs and their ships somewhat stand out in terms of features, nomad is a good pick there too...
I'd put the Arrastra over the Orion. You're right that the Orion will make bank, but the Arrastra is effectively a multi-purpose ship that can mine. Ground, space mining, cargo hauling, maybe even bounties. It has far more gameplay attached to it than any other RSI ship. The Orion will also be pirate bait.
Great list, I definitely see the the reasons for the ships you chose. I would choose the CATERPILLAR over the IRONCLAD ASSAULT because it's cheap to maintain, and it has four swappable modules which will make it the most versatile ship in the game, covering the most play loops for a small crew
For me, the best ships to own pledged are the ones used to make ingame money or heavy on combat that maybe will blow up constantly so you have LTI and dont worry about it, also the loadouts of them, but that is highly succeptible to change along the way. For me: Crusader: Mercury Star Runner, for the unique purpose of data running. Anvil: Liberator, so you can carry salvage, mining, refining, medical, ROC mining, combat ships, repair (vulcan), you name it, you can outfit a Liberator to do whatever you want with 400SCU dedicated cargo grid and seats for 16 troops/workers. Drake: Caterpillar, if the modules become a reallity it will be multiuse and the small ship in the command module being a thing, it will be cool. MISC: HULL C if the promissed feature to attach other ships into the grid comes true it will be a carrier and hauler, but only being a hauler as said, huge money maker. CNOU: Cant be another thing than the Pioneer, unique utility as space station builder and XL bases. Mirai: None, all easy ingame buys.... AOPOA: Pass GATAC: Pass Esperia: all garbage, maybe the Prowler if one day dropship becomes important, as a real dropship, since now you can drop as many people as you want with whatever ship you want. RSI: Arrastra will be the best ship for me, will be able to do small jobs with minimal crew making Prospector and Mole obsolete and being able to crack very large rocks will full crew, plus the vehicle bay, that will prob be able to fit Ursa medivac ou even a C8R along with a ROC, covering lots of mining loops and rescue. Aegis: Reclaimer, you can make so much money for what the ship costs that is a no brainer, can get it under 200$ ccuing to it.
You forgot to mention that the Ironclad Assault garage also have the ability to craft/fabicate components too, which is huge. I like the Kraken alot, but I actually melted my Kraken to buy the Ironclad Asault. The Kraken is just going to be such a large ship that it's going be incredibly difficult to use it without a huge crew.
I've BEEN saying that about the Razor EX!!!! it fits in more ships than you'd expect, making it an amazing snub for your Corsair or Starlancer. It goes in the rear bay on the Starlancer meaning that on the TAC, you'll be able to have both a Fury and Razor as a snub. And since the TAC has medical beds, you don't even need the space for your nursa
I love the concept of the Kraken. I can't wait to get mine. However, I do think the Ironclad is going to be more useful. Even ignoring the price point.
I am going to keep investing in Endeavors until they go up, it is almost possible to make a space station like situation with just a small fleet of them at this time considering the modules, all we really need now is fuel production, crafting, and building.
I feel you about the Raft... I really tried to make room for it in my fleet because I love the aesthetic and usefulness of it, but I already have other ships that do the same better.
man 600i rework is going to be lit! Parking my own nova tonk inside will be great for heavier ground missions or clearing a bunker from hostile npcs on the outside a little easier.
I disagree on Drake, MISC and Origin, but I think I put more weight on the price and relative value of some cheaper ships. The Corsair is twice the price of the Cutlass, but isn't twice as good for instance. But in the Hull C's case, it's a huge freighter, but that's all it is. It might be the best freighter, but it can't fight, or bounce quickly between outposts and do any hauling job. The Freelancer MAX can do it all and has plenty of space for vehicles, cargo, looting. There's an argument for the Hull A due to is price as well, in the same vein as the RAFT. But still, I feel the Freelancer or MAX are better. And for Origin, the 600i, 315p or 325a are much better ships than the 890j when you take value into account.
just traded in my Perseus for a odyssey since im not much in combat but the perseus has to be the coolest ship in the game! great video my ninja over lord hey also ninja was my call sign on deployment thanks for bring good content to the name
Nice choices. I think, with Drake i could use your reasoning of the C1 being the best ship for the money to make a case for the Cutlass and then there is the big question about which functions the Kraken will get. That could blow the Ironclad right out of the water. But other than that i totally agree with your choices and just want to leave an honorary mention for the 300 series - the 315p in my case - as the only somewhat proper competition to the Avenger
It was down to the cutlass and the corsair and the firepower, exploration capability, and The fact that it can fit an URSA pushed the corsair across the finish line. The 315p is a great ship and one of my favs but the utility of the 890j is just crazy...and thats before it gets updated.
I'm not sure if someone already mentioned this, but you missed Banu. I know they only have one flight ready ship and one ship in concept. They do also have one ship mentioned in lore, i wonder if they will eventually put it in concept after the BMM comes out.
You missed the best feature of the Ironclad Assault. It can manufacture ship components. So it’s currently one of the only manufacturing ships in game.
Have you used the Carrack for Cargo in 4.0? It's objectivly, the worst cargo ship across all cargo vessels. The catwalk is horribly placed, the snap structure is broken and makes no sense, the door angle is hard to get scu in. Its terrible. No one who does cargo will use this in its current state
I know the misc style isn’t for everyone but the fact that you can make a fleet entirely out of their ships that cover pretty much every major gameplay loop is such a cool thing in my eyes
And once the MISC Fortune goes live, you'll be able to do that even if you're *not* in the Chairman's Club.
Prospector has such a crazy cockpit dome and I love flying it in VR. It. is. insane.

nice list. Really enjoy videos like this
Just found your channel, loveing the videos.

Aegis sabre comet is still my all time favorite ship, stealth and it got looks for days.
I love your style when talking about ships in SC.
For me, the best ships to own pledged are the ones used to make ingame money or heavy on combat that maybe will blow up constantly so you have LTI and dont worry about it, also the loadouts of them, but that is highly succeptible to change along the way.

Great information, still on the fence about the ironclad vs the assault, but pretty much agree with most of your choices.
You forgot to mention that the Ironclad Assault garage also have the ability to craft/fabicate components too, which is huge.

Good catch!
Fell in love with the Starlancer series and Ironclad i don't care if they are the best or not.
The whole lineup of ships are great as SC will balance them in time to suit their role.
I've BEEN saying that about the Razor EX!!!! it fits in more ships than you'd expect, making it an amazing snub for your Corsair or Starlancer. Ironclad assault spot on, really want that endeavor too though
The C1 was my daily from when it was released, but I'm trying out the Starlancer currently.
I like Consolidated Outlands and Drake usually, but Crusader Industries and Mirai have been making some of my favorite ships more recently.
It's always gonna be Drake for me, although I love some specific ships from other manufacturers like the Merlin and Super Hornet MK1
I love the concept of the Kraken. I can't wait to get mine. However, I do think the Ironclad is going to be more useful. Even ignoring the price point.
Ironclad gang stand tall
I am going to keep investing in Endeavors until they go up, it is almost possible to make a space station like situation with just a small fleet of them at this time considering the modules, all we really need now is fuel production, crafting, and building.
I feel you about the Raft... I really tried to make room for it in my fleet because I love the aesthetic and usefulness of it, but I already have other ships that do the same better.
I thought i'm going crazy as i started liking the misc ships over rsi more
man 600i rework is going to be lit! Parking my own nova tonk inside will be great for heavier ground missions or clearing a bunker from hostile npcs on the outside a little easier.
tbh, my favourite ships for 2025 is the rsi zeus and the starlancer
I disagree on Drake, MISC and Origin, but I think I put more weight on the price and relative value of some cheaper ships. Genesis Starliner is going to be my main ship in the fleet. Is gonna be sooo versatile :D
I really like the c1 spirit. If I had to leave the security of a space station and only chose one ship, I would choose the C1 Spirit every time.
I am honestly very surprised the Cutlass Black or the Cutter didn't win for Drake.
It was tough but the Corsair is more of an endgame ship than the Cutty Black
Its very nice to see you in the video ❤
Great list... I agree that the Polaris is the top, and hard to say if the Arrastra or Orion would be on the top... I own both too.
Nice choices. I think, with Drake i could use your reasoning of the C1 being the best ship for the money to make a case for the Cutlass and then there is the big question about which functions the Kraken will get. RSI is the goat of all ship manufacturers. Sleek and effective with class and style.
I'm not sure if someone already mentioned this, but you missed Banu. I know they only have one flight ready ship and one ship in concept. They do also have one ship mentioned in lore, i wonder if they will eventually put it in concept after the BMM comes out.
I'll do a makeup vid on the banu
I really love the ARGO SRV, I know I am crazy, but I love that ship, I wish it worked and was useful.
F7A being the meta fighter should have definitely been a number 1 over the Carrack which currently does nothing.
You missed the best feature of the Ironclad Assault. It can manufacture ship components. So it’s currently one of the only manufacturing ships in game.
Correct!
Ironically I feel like ironclad assault will be one of the best pirate ships in the game
Drake for life haha Corsair is still my favorite ride even with the nerf.
People underestimate her, she's still good after the nerf, My fave too.

You also can’t ccu the kraken boooo. Still my all time favorite. Will I ever have one yea but I’ll have to grind for it in game.
I want to see more CNOU, Banu, and Kruger personally. Too small of a lineup in all of those.
Kind of unrelated, but what would any of us think of an Ironclad build?
My prayers have been answered!
Crusader my love💘 also anvil is the side piece
still fingers crossed on winning something but also still here for the content XD
I wanna know if my vulture can fit in that ship bay.
The idris is my biggest want in the game. The idris m is unfortunately out of the question due to availability. Hoping the idris k is comparable.
Thank for the info and the giveaway! Is possible to comment on live video after live is ended?
Yes!
Glad you can play. I can't get off the planet. Game is broke. Same old stuff as usual. Not sure why I even try any more
If i win the Perseus (and that would be perfect with this comment 😂), maybe i'll add the 600i or another exploration ship.
You forgot the concept ship, Raptor.
Have you used the Carrack for Cargo in 4.0? It's objectivly, the worst cargo ship across all cargo vessels. The catwalk is horribly placed, the snap structure is broken and makes no sense, the door angle is hard to get scu in. Its terrible. No one who does cargo will use this in its current state
*sigh* let me go grab my coffee.
I hope i won the contest buy i like gladius more of all
No Banu Ships on the List?
My mistake...missed the Banu but there are only two ships so the choices are obvious there.
If you could only have 1 ship in the game, what would that be?
Banu Merchantman for me...
I would argue that the Arrastra is better than the Orion.
You may be right! Elaborate and lets see why!
1. RSI
2. RSI
3. RSI
😁
There was a glitch in the video. Reclaimer was robbed.
MISC forever !
Hi
600i looks like a used bar of soap or a bedpan. for best origin ship i say 890 or 400i which has to tewll you something about how ass origin is rn.
