I'm Hannah, from London UK and I started my trading journey back in January 2018 when I was in my second year of university. I started documenting for fun and to share true insights of someone learning to trade back in July 2018 - when this RUclips channel was created. Motivational words to my fellow beginners: In order to succeed in Forex, you first have to be willing to experience failure. But once that happens do not be discouraged because with time, consistency and perseverance you will eventually become profitable.
@@daynabruen1908 Really needed this advice, i've been so down lately due to lost funds amounting to more than $3,000 from trading. But tbh i'm not the one putting myself under pressure, my family indirectly puts me under pressure with bills coming in from left, right, center. My current job pays me just $1,450 per month and that is nowhere near enough for me let alone my family and that is why i got involved with trading but so far it's made me lose my money and i'm so discouraged but reading your comment i have found courage once again.
@@joeypage3767 Glad to know my comment has been helpful in someways to you. The trading world can be extremely brutal sometimes but then I'd like to urge you not to quit. Keep pushing it and keep trying to improve on a daily basis and surely you'll see significant change.

I commend all you young folks that are quitting your jobs and taking risk.. I remember my 20's and 20's like it was yesterday. I have worked non-stop from 19 years old in the technology field. While I am grateful to have made good money, I realize in my late 40s that my time could have been better used taking calculated risk and not playing it safe... I am just starting my Forex journey but I make to much currently just to walk away from corporate America currently... Maybe one day after I learn more and become confident in my trading skills ( - : Young folks be smart and learn everything you can to take control of your destiny.. don't let old people tell you anything different.

My life really changed in corona virus during lockdown I studied a lot about trading lost lot of money but all of a sudden everything starts making sense ..I would say nothing works alone in market but combination of everything be it candle sticks patterns indicators money management and emotional control everything is required

Friday October 23rd, 2020 is my last day. Full time Trading here too! I gave 3 weeks notice. So excited. I heard in my head, "So it's up to you. You're never going to be ready. But you're already ready. You decide." I swear it was God speaking to me.

I like your thought process on this whole journey you were on. Good video! I can totally relate with your comment about work or the 9 - 5 being draining. I'm currently in a situation similar to yours except with my job I hate it. The ppl are really cool that I work with but the work itself is draining mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Stagnation x 100! I do some day trading to get away from it and keep some balance. Not even close to where you are with making that decision but one day I will be there again as I did it once and it's a great feeling for sure.

I quit my job 3 weeks ago. I'm signed up with 5ers in my evaluation phase but want to get signed up for FTMO once I'm sure I can produce 10% in a month. I actually didn't know what prop firms were til i saw your first video on it. Keep up with the hustler spirit. I'm on a similar path.
Don't you think you should of kept working until you had passed the challenge and were funded?
@@shelby6622 No, because I'm taking that time to set up my own LLC as a massage therapist and in the meantime I'm reading a few highly detailed price action books. It's counter productive at this point to work for peanuts and lose 36 hours a week in comparison to investing directly in myself (personally with my job situation). Plus I have savings just for this reason. If I'm burning all my energy at work it'll be harder to get funded, I can always go out and find another low paying job, corona or not.

I jumped off the cliff and quit my job, and am learning on the way down haha. Only because i have support from my family to stay home and focus on trading but YAY! So happy for you, lets get it!! Well done, Hannah! I left a good career job in the creative industry in 2012 to pursue other creative outlets and set up my own company. As a result I travelled internationally working for clients with access to some unbelievable experiences I'd never expected. So, the lesson for all is that WE will never know our potential until we GIVE IT OUR ALL! The rewards are endless and there's no glass ceiling. And if it doesn't work out then we have no regret and only valuable lessons and experience that makes us grow, that cannot be taken from us! All the best to you on your journey. Respect :)

I quit this past July, everybody thought I was crazy for quit being a Doctor and just trade. I guess time will tell who's the crazy one. Doing 3-5 percent daily.

Hello Sir, I hope you understand the forces of exponentiality. If you achieve 3% per day and compound (lower end of what you say), and investing only 10k initially, you will be a billionaire in a little bit more than a year. I expect to see you in the Forbes list in approx. 1 year. Until then I will not say that you lie.
Maybe do a yearly reflection on the time since you quit your job. How you have embraced the change - the good and the not so good. Where you see the next year taking your journey etc. Keep up the great work

I quit my job in March 2020. As I had anticipated my trading performance diminished because of the pressure to produce income. It took time to adjust. Good luck! God bless you!

Just a suggestion (if you care tbh), get a Roth IRA and invest in an ETF (VTI is good on M1 Finance app). It's a tax free retirement account and you already have a great headstart with help from your FTMO to fund it tbh.
Also invest in dividend stocks as well, with either Robinhood, Charles Schwab or Webull for more passive streams of income.
Andrei Jihk is a youtuber who goes really in depth on this type of financial stuff.
