    Good video, just passed my challenge, got to 5% in two weeks, then gave it all back. Managed to get back to 2% now. Was thinking when I lost the 5%... "dam, I wish I pulled some money so I get the fee back for another free challange", Ill do this now and raise my bar to 1% as intial balance....Subscribed!

    I’m gonna implement the “new zero” point

  • @zafarhashmi2170
    @zafarhashmi2170 Год назад +2

    Good tips. The one thing I recommend which I think I mentioned before is after you are funded work out your risk based on your drawdown funds available rather than account size. That makes it virtually impossible to lose an account (unless you break another rule) as when you go on a losing streak you risk goes down.
    Say you have a 100K account with a 10% DD. You use 10K as your DD fund to calculate risk.
    Now risk 10% of that (which IMO is way too high) and after 20 losses in a row you still have over 1K left in DD funds.

    • @weiSane

      That's smart . Great advice

    • @MoPRZA.
      @MoPRZA. Год назад +1

      20 l in a row is not 9k bro

    • @MatttoMillion
      @MatttoMillion  Год назад

      Yeah there's a few people I've seen who do that or a variation of it for sure!

    • @isaacstv460
      @isaacstv460 Год назад

      your maths is not right, if you lose 1k 20 times on a 100k account you have lost the account.

    • @zafarhashmi2170
      @zafarhashmi2170 Год назад

      @@isaacstv460 do you understand how percentages work?
      It is not 1000 each time.
      Each time you lose your account gets smaller so the risk gets smaller.
      In very simple terms if you have 100 and you take away 50% you have 50 left.
      If you take away 50% again you have 25, not zero.
      Does that make sense?

    Good day sir. I hope this meets you well. First off, Thank you for all your content
    I cannot afford to even get a 5k evaluation account at the moment but then..
    I've had one giveaway 100k MFF evaluation account since July but I've not been able to trade the challenge yet because it's a once in a lifetime opportunity that I cannot just throw away because of a lack of preparedness and also I'm a medical student so time is really not on my side.. I'm thinking if you could help me please. I think it may be able to benefit you too.. Thank you

  • @stephenmiller3430

    Hows this for an unpopular idea, once funded reduce, yes reduce your risk per trade. I use 0.5% per trade for phase 1, 0.4% for phase 2, then 0.25% once funded. Bring on the hate.

    • @mchljunior_
      @mchljunior_ Год назад

      Yep. Because once you’ve hit the targets to qualify, the pressure is “off”. Slow down

    • @MatttoMillion
      @MatttoMillion  Год назад +1

      No reason for this to be unpopular! Would certainly stop a lot of broken hearts! 💔👌🏻

    • @tohian
      @tohian Год назад +1

      No hate here. This is the only sensible way to do this. Always trade small. Like Bruce Kovner said, whatever you think your trade size should be, cut that in half.
      I think a modest target of 2.5% per month is reasonable. So there’s no pressure to try and do anything heroic.
