I can’t wait to quit my job. I swing trade and I am making much more than my day job. I want to have at least 200K from trading before I quit the job I hate. I am on it because I need to pay bills and I am a single mom
Just curious, is your career in finance? Sounds incredible. Anything is possible with hard work! I'm just getting into trading, seems like a lot of information to absorb. Any tips?
I work construction and trade from my phone in the porta potty. My whole work crew has known for a long time that I am a day trader and has actually covered for me if the owner comes on site and I am in the john. You have to do what you have to do in the beginning. But I live and breath the markets. This is what I am meant to do and one day I will be able to have a big enough portfolio to trade full time.
As a pharmacist, this is truly inspiring hearing that another pharmacist has done exactly what I aspire to do. I'm really glad that I came across this video today
Thank you guys for this video.! Much needed, I’ve been daytrading and working full time for 2 years now and I don’t have an office job. (Even harder imo 😅) and I have no one to talk to about it ! Thanks again guys
I’ve been at my current job for over 15 years and love it. I have a wife and two little kids that I want more time with. Trying to do both work and day trade has been tough. Lots of great stories in the video. Thanks for sharing.
I believe from my experience a leap of faith Into the unknown is most important so that you can put all your energy Into yourself and leave toxicity, I have quit 3 jobs, been fired 2 times and now living comfortably off trading once I let go of my last job
The guy in blue shirt opened up my mind to a concept that I never thought about on something I think I cannot do at my current job "SCALABILITY". We never think of our job that way unless you are in for the long run climbing the corporate latter, which is probably capped or you will get burnout for the excessive hustle.
I love this, I’m struggling to trade and work at the same time. I’m always in the middle of working when I’m supposed to be paying attention to the charts before a trading opportunity. I’m always overworking myself and know that I can do so much better trading.
Keep working hard and don’t give up. I lost a lot of money when I started but these days I know how to cut my loses and to look for good profitable stocks. Trading is very hard
Excellent video Ross, huge fan of yours. I too am a new trader with a full time job. My job starts at 7, and I get a break at 9 EST until 930. Unfortunately I miss out the market open. Kraz, I would look into the idea of paying yourself first. I found my self in a ridiculously stressful similar situation but I had recently read Rich Dad, Poor Dad and a key step to financial optimism is paying yourself first, creditors will be there, they can wait. When you pay yourself first, this also motivates you to make the additional money through other means that you are paying yourself with. I don't say this as someone who thinks it is easy or I know the steps but this concept really helped me personally on my path. Wishing you best regardless, don't lose that desire.

I have been trading for 6 weeks and I am already seeing the results. Indicators are lagging so if you are using them they get you in to late to the trade.
Same here, trying to get a few trades in at work knowing I don't want to be there. Only 2 years away from a pension so the "job" has to be priority at this point. As I heard many people say, the market will always be there.

I’ve been study trading for 4 weeks consistently and even paper trading with a bit of success. To myself and everyone on their journey I wish you success. Take care

Great content! Just wondering: Ross, in the past, you've used many analogies that compare the concept of becoming a successful day trader, to starting a coffee shop. Will the strategy you teach, eventually include Warrior Coffee?
Ross, you have a specific video for CMEG Sterling Pro setup and layout etc. ? I want to send funds to get started. Account is awaiting my funds. Gonna start with about$2500. Any thoughts, tips, suggestions? Wanna get some growth to get to where I can join Warrior totally. Have proven over the last year I can be profitable if I can trade around PDT. I reset my current broker sim weekly and am consistently green. Will be a learning curve going to another platform from TradeStation but, feel I can adjust best to Sterling. Thank you in advance for your help. aka C.Kramer

What was the turning point from being a common loser trader to a winner? did u learn something new (like market structure, OB, mitigation) or was a switch in your mind? I know I am almost there but I always feel that is missing something
Iam severally long side biased in the early hours then switch to more short biased later in the day 'IF' the setups are signaling as such. It has been really well using that approach. Its not the be all that ends all but in general its sound for me thus far.
Great chat. I'm on UK time so US markets open here at 2.30pm, right in the middle of my working day which makes things very difficult. Only getting started but I'm thinking of targeting market close window to trade instead of open. I know its not ideal but not sure what else I can do.
I live in Amsterdam so the US market opens at 3.30PM. My current situation now is to make sure I have my watchlist and strategies set... eat my lunch behind my desk while working and take my actual break (clock in/clock out system) a little before opening time. Also I keep watching my watchlist during closing hours which is around 8.00pm-10.00pm just to see if any traders are still active.
@@nicolastasolla7156 just getting set up but it looks like colmex pro is the broker I'll go with having looked around quite a bit. I have a degiro account but it's no use for day trading..
The only thing that sucks about living in Hawaii is the market hours. 330am - 10am. It's honestly difficult to make smart quick decisions when I should be in my deepest sleep cycle. I also work 4 days a week as a nurse from 7am to 530pm.

Hello......that's why we have cell phones, haha. I don't use huge desk setups and multiple screens. I study the stock I'm looking for, establish highs/lows, then watch my plan go throughout the day.
As you may know the United States has what's called the Pattern Day Trader (PDT) Rule. That means you need a minimum of $25,000 cash balance in your broker account in order to day trade more than 3x in a 5 day period. Since most traders take 3-5 trades per day, they are considered Pattern Day Traders. You can see some examples and in-depth explanation here: www.warriortrading.com/pattern-day-trader-rule/ and here ruclips.net/video/CDPxDCMHM10/видео.html Many of our new students don't have $25k. You can open a brokerage with as little as $500 at some places. Offshore brokerage CME Group is one of these brokers. TradeZero is also one if you are non-U.S. residents. Reviews here: www.warriortrading.com/capital-markets-elite-group-review/ www.warriortrading.com/trade-zero-broker-review-how-it-matches-up/ And of course, you have the option of a cash account at a US brokerage! Here's a helpful place to go to explore your options further: www.warriortrading.com/how-to-day-trade-without-25k/ I hope that makes more sense! Biggest sale EVER at Warrior! I can relate so much to wanting to trade but having school/a class that occurs from 9:35-11:00 and I want to trade but I have to be paying attention so I usually have to wait to trade I. The later times even though the original open is much better
You ever heard of power hour? Around 3 to 4 pm, people who didn't make gains earlier try their hand in the market again so it's alot of volume sometimes. Try to paper trade that time to confirm
Was Manoli slinging stocks, options, futures while in the office (December 2020)? Those are big day-to-day numbers; seems like a lot of concentration would be needed!

I was up $554, $732 and $1,100 the last 3 days. Gave it all back all 3 days for losses. I only have been swing trading for about a week. I have learned my lesson. Take my Profits and stick to the system. Do not break the rules of the system!

Hi ross i was a warrior member till this month. i couldnt afford to reup but i will once i get settled with my new job. anyway not sure if youll read this but i took your placement test and it said i was more suited to swing trading which i agree with but i dont know where or whom i can go to to learn how to get better at it. you guys mostly day trade and its too fast paced for me at least for now and ivehad success swing trading but i want to reach that next level. ive watched every vid you have in your course about swing trading but i need more are there any mentors who exclusively swing trade or other traders in he community you know of who you can direct me to that swing trade?
even just a few you tube vids of you going in depth about swing trading and how you would plan your week if you only did a swing trading challenge would be massively helpful!

I work an average of 70 hours per week, I am in my company truck on the road or tracks 95% of that time, I have not owned a computer for 11 years now and can't afford to buy one so I use my phone to buy stocks. Any recommendations how to get into day trading under these circumstances?

4:34 - If he was up $30k on the day, then why didn't he exit all his positions and call it a day?
He may have expected a bigger move out of the stuck
he also may have booked his profits and then sat back down and over traded
Ross, you have a specific video for CMEG Sterling Pro setup and layout etc. ? I want to send funds to get started. Account is awaiting my funds. Gonna start with about$2500. Any thoughts, tips, suggestions? Wanna get some growth to get to where I can join Warrior totally. Have proven over the last year I can be profitable if I can trade around PDT. I reset my current broker sim weekly and am consistently green. Will be a learning curve going to another platform from TradeStation but, feel I can adjust best to Sterling. Thank you in advance for your help.

What was the turning point from being a common loser trader to a winner? did u learn something new (like market structure, OB, mitigation) or was a switch in your mind? I know I am almost there but I always feel that is missing something
Great question, will save that for the next podcast!
just wait for the $2,000 course they want to sell you!
@@ryaninSartell if it will make me profitable and confident in my trading it’s a deal and it’s definitely not that much !
Iam severally long side biased in the early hours then switch to more short biased later in the day 'IF' the setups are signaling as such. It has been really well using that approach. Its not the be all that ends all but in general its sound for me thus far.
Thanks for the feedback!

Great chat. I'm on UK time so US markets open here at 2.30pm, right in the middle of my working day which makes things very difficult. Only getting started but I'm thinking of targeting market close window to trade instead of open. I know its not ideal but not sure what else I can do.
Thank you!
What broker do you use chuckie ?? I m from UK too try to figure out the next step before to jump on the warrior pro .

Hey Ross, is it realistic for me to become a part-time day trader if I work during 8 to 11am at my day job?
Yes it is, you'd have to have a strategy that works around your schedule. Hello......that's why we have cell phones, haha. I don't use huge desk setups and multiple screens. I study the stock I'm looking for, establish highs/lows, then watch my plan go throughout the day.
Right on that works!!
Coming back to this video 2025 hating my sales job lol wishing I could just trade.
You can always start learning so when the time is right you will be ready!
First speaker...where did you get caital to trade such profits? you never told i think
Ross started with money he had saved up from jobs!
my biggest question is how much money do you need to trade with to make 500 a day and how much is needed to 5k a day
As you may know the United States has what's called the Pattern Day Trader (PDT) Rule. That means you need a minimum of $25,000 cash balance in your broker account in order to day trade more than 3x in a 5 day period. Since most traders take 3-5 trades per day, they are considered Pattern Day Traders. You can see some examples and in-depth explanation here: www.warriortrading.com/pattern-day-trader-rule/ and here ruclips.net/video/CDPxDCMHM10/видео.html
Many of our new students don't have $25k. You can open a brokerage with as little as $500 at some places. Offshore brokerage CME Group is one of these brokers. TradeZero is also one if you are non-U.S. residents.
Reviews here:
www.warriortrading.com/capital-markets-elite-group-review/

And of course, you have the option of a cash account at a US brokerage! Here's a helpful place to go to explore your options further: www.warriortrading.com/how-to-day-trade-without-25k/
I hope that makes more sense!

Does it have to be 9-11? Speaking from the East Coast. Why are those hours so important?
Not necessarily, that is just when most of the daily trading volume is done on the stocks Ross typically trades.
@@DaytradeWarrior I’ve been wanting to join something like you guys but I have a serious corporate job. Just trying to figure out how I can try this!
I can relate so much to wanting to trade but having school/a class that occurs from 9:35-11:00 and I want to trade but I have to be paying attention so I usually have to wait to trade I. The later times even though the original open is much better
Right on, thank you! Keep studying!
You ever heard of power hour? Around 3 to 4 pm, people who didn't make gains earlier try their hand in the market again so it's alot of volume sometimes. Try to paper trade that time to confirm
yes, morning hours preferable imo
Was Manoli slinging stocks, options, futures while in the office (December 2020)? Those are big day-to-day numbers; seems like a lot of concentration would be needed!

most important not mentioned how much did they start with?
Pretty sure Manoli started with $25k. I’ll have to ask about the others.
I was up $554, $732 and $1,100 the last 3 days. Gave it all back all 3 days for losses. I only have been swing trading for about a week. I have learned my lesson. Take my Profits and stick to the system. Do not break the rules of the system!
This is it! stick to the rules and strategy
Do not quit your job to become full time trader. Why? Because no profitable trading, no income.
hey, im pretty young still and im slowly learn i haven't started because i dont even know what to use to start trading. is their like a program or website you use to buy these stocks or is it all on your website
