In my opinion, lack of confidence comes from considering multiple scenarios from different parties and putting yours last, creates self doubt in your own abilities, I cancelled out the noise and started trusting myself and my system more, never being happier

lack of confidence comes from the subconscious level. No matter how good your strategy is but you don't know thyself, it will be difficult to succeed. Know thyself. I scalped for almost 2 years because I am inspired by our senior traders doing it live and are successful, but it was too stressful for me. When I started trading the higher TF, I was more relaxed and the outcome is still the same, successful.
My lack of confidence comes from uncertainty. The human brain does not like uncertainty, it wants to avoid being incorrect and protect you from harm. Thinking and acting in probabilities takes time.
It's funny how at 8:58 you mention to filter out everything else and focus on what's blue then the only thing that comes up which is blue is the like button😂. Either way amazing content.
I'd say the lack of confidence comes from the mistrust of your trade plan when a trade goes the wrong way and then results in doubt in the plan which allows the feeling of doubt overcome your thought process. This would then make a trader lack confidence and then cause mistakes to occur such as impulsive trades and overtrading

Confidence comes from knowing I'm the house over a series of trade. Providing I can minimise the inevitable losses that I know will come - long term I'll be on top.
From believing in your strategy, that you have backtested and know what the percentages are. I have done loads of backtesting and the price will come within 2 pip from taking me out for a loss and then reverse and I get out with a win. Having clear plan before placing the trade and knowing where your stop and targets are, and leave the trade alone to play out

You nailed everything Hannah, its a pity most of us only get to understand and appreciate such content at the 3rd level of the Learning curve (being that, as a novice you lack wisdom of how much an impact such variables impact your trading).... Hehe you touched some situations i done. lack of confidence i felt alot of time when i was doing my trading path that time when i try to analyse some pairs i didn't know if its right or wrong 70% that time i had some groups telegram shared on some analysis of pairs that they were waiting to move. Then when i saw their analyse realized my tech analayse was wrong or right eventually i got some confidence i persuaded my self you can take know becouse they done like you....... One day i talked my seft purely why you are doing like this? what wrong with you are lying your honest self?...😏 then i decided to delete all of them and try to do my own self take special decision right now am enough to my self in side of like tech analyse ,psychology,taking right decisions its going amizing then i saw one your vedios talking like that.....i admired you keep going....
My Confidence comes from knowing this piece of code I wrote backtested was producing a win/loss per trade rate of 1 loss per 70 wins and risk/reward ratio of 1 loss is equal to 10 wins (or 0.1:1). And that forward testing this, those odds keep holding up.

Informative video Hannah!. One thing I want to add is your surroundings or more even your base of trading, where you trade like your room is all white with a lack of colour. Which is great for focus and precision in the mind, for me a cluttered room equals a cluttered mind.

After 4 years of working at my trading plan and refining the process I would say that not respecting this view of work is killing your chances of developing into a great trader. Keep up the good work, so young and so wise!
You make me happy whenever I see you, truly, you give me hope. I lost my account a weak ago and lost some bit of confidence in myself... it's a terrible feeling when you lose confidence and don't trust your strategies even if they are right. It's tough
dont sweat it, i know its tough but to survive in this game and in life... sometimes we gotta take things with a pinch of salt 😌 keep persisting and ask yourself "what did you learn from this experience", change the narrative in your head and get back up and crush it!! 😇 itll be worth it!
Dear Hannah, love the updates! One question, you seem to be using TradingView in your video's, however FTMO doesnt supprot TradingView. Which platform do you use for putting in the trade?
For sure, but I prefer algo trading. No mental issues with that. And you don't need to be a coder these days, it's enough with some basic math/sci background. The backtest is automatic, built-in. Then put the algo on demo and see what happens and track with Myfxbook. I also do some manual trading, I prefer very shortterm since I don't have the patience to wait for days during which time the market can kill you in an instant.
My lack of confidence is entering and exiting trades( I'll maybe enter to early or late, when I am in profits then I get confuse if I should keep the trades or let them run and funny enough most of the times when I let them run it hit my stop loss or I'm in a negative situation 💔💔😢
Depends where you are in your journey. Early journey.. communities were awesome. Once you get more experienced, it’s key to learn to become an independent trader and create your own plan and systems 🙌🏽 Thats my take on it based from my experience
So I have a question about backtesting. I have this journal that I update every single day that has every single trading day of GBPUSD dating back to March. In this journal I have my analysis on what I think happened that day. How do I backtest a pair that I already looked at every day since March? Do I just backtest a different pair?

Tip 3 was really helpful. I also was to focused on the outcome and become emotional and because of that I failed the FTMO challenge.
