Kay, I would like to know about the snips you use to trim the excess fabric. They look like the perfect tool and I would love to have one like it.

The are called pinch action scissors or squizzors. The brand I prefer are called REUSER but there are many different brands on Amazon, if you search squissors or pinch action precision scissors.
I dont know what country you are in but eBay UK have got them
