    I would like a feature which is updating an existing map, by forcing the Deebot to go to that area specifically. Current status is that you have to run it in Auto mode and cross your fingers that it finds the place that you want to update.

    Vitally important to turn the Deebot off before relocating it and the charging base to your 2nd floor. Otherwise it thinks it’s still on the first map but with a new charging base location - and no new map is saved

      these vacs are a crap shoot. both i have had lasted about a year then the ai went wonky. they are probably both resting now on the sea floor near the phillipines where all of this substandard junk ends up. so around $45 a month to get a little help vacuuming. worth it? not sure. i do enjoy watching it wiggle its little ass around mopping. i named mine elvis

    Hi! Need your advice plz.
    Our kitchen floor is 6cm lower than the other floor.
    During the first time mapping I left the kitchen door closed so it could map the rest of the house. And it's done in one go.
    Now I need to cover the kitchen as well so planning to buy a ramp.
    In this case, will I have to redo the mapping right from the beginning?? Or I can just leave the kitchen door open and it automatically detects the new area and will the map gets updated? Can you help plz?

    Hello, please help! I have a 920 and I have tried 4-5 times to get it to map my house, it won’t save the map and there is no option for me to save. It has mapped my entire house 4-5 times, I don’t know what’s going wrong?

    Hi. I have T8 and 2 maps saved. I also have large yard I want to clean. I know I cannot save 3rd map. Can I use T8 to clean yard without mapping it? Or without deleting/overwriting 1st & 2nd maps please?

    good day, I wanted to ask, please, I have a problem with deboot t8+. when resetting the device, it doesn't want to map my apartment at all - I don't see the final map, when I close the door, it maps the one room beautifully and saves the map, but when I map the whole apartment, I don't even get a map it doesn't load and the robot can't find the docking station, it always asks for help, can you please give me some advice? do the Ir diodes light up in the charging station? Thank you

    Once the maps have been created, do we have to keep moving the charger upstairs to use it upstairs?

    Ok, so when you create the map for the 2nd floor bring the charger with you and start it up. But what about subsequent times, do I need to bring the charger with me, assuming the deebot is charged, if the map is already created and saved for the new environment?

      I tried this and it works a treat! I set it up on the 2nd floor with the charger and started it up and let it finish. I then took it back downstairs and hooked the charger up down there. (Its usual spot) So next time I just brought the Deebot upstairs and it worked great! It detected it was in the 2nd floor environment and worked out of that. When it was done I paused it and took it downstairs and told it to go charge.

    Ok, to be clear, if I have two maps saved with no-go zones, virtual walls, etc.. When I initially saved each map, I started from the robot from the auto bin base. Now the auto bin base is back on the main level.
    Question 1) the Main level is where the auto bin is located.
    If I need to clean level 2, which has been mapped, do I need to move the auto bin base each time I clean?
    Question 2)
    There is carpet between the auto bin base and the area I want to mop with the robot. How do I get the robot to and from the location to be mopped?

      1: just power off the deebot n u can move don't worry.. If deebot is off it won't effect on maps....
      2: easy way if you want to clean both carpet n tiles n want to mop as well is.... First round run the deebot without moping plate... So it can cover both areas once return to base then attach moping plate so it can mop only tile floor.... Because with mop plate it won't enter carpet areas so this is the easy solution

      Room 1 has carpet
      The rooms that need to be mopped are rooms 2 and 3; these rooms have no carpet
      How do I get the deebot from room #1, which has carpet, to rooms 2 and 3, which do not have carpet?

      @@ricke95126 you cannot do this. It automatically drags the mop across the floor everywhere it goes. It cannot travel between 2 mopping areas separated by carpet.

    Hi I hv osmosis 950.. my house is not multi floor but has 2 areas are in little Low level. I hv saved one map for all rooms now for kitchen which is slightly Low it can’t go down how to save map for tat no charging point in kitchen where it can return on own..

      No need to be worry...in maping deebot model got one function that if it couldn't cover the full house n battery is low so It'll return back to charging dock n after full charge automatically will resume from where it left...means it can cover the full house weather it needs to charge twice...once cleaning is complete then u can use other functions as well...

    One question actually my ozmo920 when it’s finished mopping later from down hole water very slow is it bad ?? For machine ???

      Once deebot finished cleaning let it return to charge then remove water tank with mop plate... Or if u want to carry deebot in hands then make sure those few last drops won't touch with anti drop sensor... Else it will give errors clean my anti drop sensor...

    Hi, i just bought Deebot Ozmo T8. During the first mapping itself the device keeps banging into the dock station and the red light pops saying "Clean Anti drop sensor". Even after repeated cleaning it stills prompts the same messege. Can you please help me? Do i need to order for a replacement unit?

      Normally 10-14 days return policy in India plz contact with seller request for one to one exchange...because anti drop sensor issue...need to replace anti drop sensor....or u can chek weather the bottom sensor are clean or dusty...if sensor dusty so just wipe out with normal soft dry cloth .will be ok but if still same then need to send back to service center...in new Delhi India got one ecovacs service center..u can check online

    I need help!!! I have the N8+ and the 1st map is created Ok and I save the map, then switch it off, move charging base to upstairs and set the N8 off again to try and map upstairs and create 2nd map. But this is impossible as It reverses off the dock, says new location found, starting new cleaning cycle but then it drives forward and crashes into the charging dock and drives up it before falling off. I’ve tried everything but it always does the same thing and crashes into the dock. This shouldn’t be happening. I’m on my 2nd unit as they said first one might be faulty but this one does exactly the same. I have to stop it and pick it up so it doesn’t damage itself when trying to drive over the charging dock. I’m really upset and frustrated and I need help please cos I love this robot vacuum 😞 but I want to get the second story mapped upstairs so I can use it properly on both floors. How do I resolve this please?

      When u put it back at ground floor does it follows the first map or start creating new map again???
      Have u try to reset the deebot n save maps again?? If not then plz try to reset.... Press reset button for 6 sec then release n reconnect with App...
      Once first map complete it will give you a voice msg that locating the map... Let it do for few minutes n once deebot start charging after few minutes then power off the deebot n fix it upstairs with charger then turn it on let it charge few minutes then give command from Mobile App hopefully will start cleaning n will save 2nd map as well...

      @@wertert69 I returned mine in the end as even after they sent me a 2nd dock to use upstairs it still crashed into it as if it wasn’t there. It’s only any good for single storey living which is no good to me. I bought a Eufy instead and I much prefer it

    Thank you for your video. I am still having trouble creating a 2nd map. I have sunken living room, so i powered off and moved the charger and vacuum to the new area. Message said it was creating a new environment, but then it overlaid the new room on top of the first map (and not in the correct location. I have tried this several times and cannot get it to work. Any suggestions? Thank you.

      In overlapping issue you need to reset the deebot & need to save maps again..hopefully will be ok & save both maps....one think plz note that after finish 1st map you chek in app weather 1st map successfully saved or not...if yes then power off the deebot....then move to other floor....if you wont power off & just after finishing the 1st map take to other floor...it will not save 2nd map...it will consider 1st map just new environment detects might be in this situation it will overlap the 1st map

      @@ecovacstechnicalsupport5278 Thank you for your response. I also received a response from my online inquiry from Ecovacs. They suggested i put a physical barrier in front of the sunken steps when I am mapping the new room so it looks like a wall. I used cardboard and I was able to successfully map the new room in a new map. Going forward, when I vacuum the new room, do I need to move the charger each time or can I just place the vacuum in the room?

    Can you please show us how to edit maps to divide areas after map creation. I am having a lot of trouble with usual message coming up with "Please divide only selected areas" no matter what I do.

      If the 2nd map is already saved then it's not important to fix the charger every time but make sure that battery is full charge n u have to start from its starting point so map won't disturb. If there's no charger so deebot will stop at its charging point .after finishing plz power off the deebot then put back at first floor n turn on n let it charge

    Hello Sir, I have a Ecovacs Deebot T20, and am trying to use it on multiple floors. Do I have to take the charging base to different floors to use it? It's quite heavy. If I only take the robot to a different floor without the charging station, after cleaning, the robot will keep trying to find the charging station. After a long time looking, it will stop and say it can't find the charging station.

      That's the reason I request to use charger while save map...U can purchase simple normal charger so U can fix upstairs... that's the easy way

    Hi, I have saved two maps but when I move the Deebot 950 from the lower level of the house to the upper level I couldn't see the updated map. It still shows me the lower level map and When where I was left only with auto mode not to clean the house by area. Could you please help me what is that I am missing. I am turning of the charging point before shifting that from one level to another

      Before u start using plz close app then reopen n before you start using once u open the app plz must refresh the page....just tuch ur finger on screen n scroll down page will be refresh then it will give u exact stats

    Hi, thanks for this video was super helpful. But when I'm mapping the 2nd floor I never get the Map has updated and I don’t get the Save & Edit option for the 2nd floor so it never gets saved. What can I do? I've mapped it so many times, but it's always the same, Map 2 never gets filled and it is not enabled. Do you have any advice?

    hi i have 950...2 map are already installed successfully now i moving to the other room which is 3rd map..what should i do? should I do it every step like i was doing in 1st n 2nd map? or just run withou yhe charging dock?

      Why don't you attach that room with other map...just open the door let it go out n joint the outside map...or is it room is at different floor???

      Ozmo 950 can save only 2 maps...if u want to save this room map consider 2nd map then need to fix charging dock there then only map will be complete....else just only will clean but will not save the map...just stop at starting point after finish cleaning

      I have to check in the app functions first then i will update...because i don't want to give wrong information...normally we can update the maps but if totally map gone so need to save new map...but still plz give me some time ill test in service center all functions in app then come back to u...tq

      If u feel that map is not accurate or deebot won't cover the full house or map mixed up with new cleaning etc... After reset the deebot should be OK but as u describe that still same then it's laser distance sensor assembly need to replace n need to send it to service center for service n testing etc...

    Hi.. I have a question here. I have only one floor. So I didn't enable the multi floor mapping option. Now only one map is saved after the cleaning cycle. During robot cleaning process, if I switch off and on the deebot. The saved map is lost. It's showing " New environment detected. It will update the map".so my map is lost. Again I have run the deebot for the whole house. Could you pls tell a solution for this. ?

      Normally Customer turn off the deebot when they want to shit the deebot to 2nd floor i mean then want to use 2nd map....but if u r using at 1 floor only weather its 2000 sqft it doesn't matter no need to turn off the deebot...some Customer they think that if deebot 24/7 connected with charger so battery might spoil fast..etc. but its wrong because in ecovacs Robotics all deebots got this function that after full charge deebot automatically cutt off n stop charging so no need to power off...if u r not using deebot for almost 1 week plus then its ok after full charge just power off n diss connect from charger n power off the charger as well..

      One thing u asked that while functioning u power off the deebot then power on again or maybe u put the deebot from one place to another room etc...one thing u must learn that while functioning if we disturb the deebot it effect on mapping but if deebot stuck somewhere n u want to release it so just pause it n release n put near by same place it doesn't effect on mapping it will update this in mapping but if u power off n then put somewhere else if effect on mapping...that's why it gives this message that new environment....so plz just follow these simple instructions hopefully won't give you any trouble...

      Thank you for your kind explanation. I allow deebot to perform the cleaning cycle completely. I didn't interrupt it manually. But while doing cleaning of main brush side brush and Dust bin filters.. I am switching off the robot button.. Then doing the cleaning. After when I switch on the robot and start cleaning process.. It says the error message.. New environment detected. I didn't switch off the main switch of dock station. I switched off only the deebot button

      For first map batter don't install mop plate..so it can enter in carpet areas as well...then you will get 100% full map of ur house...after map complete then can put boundaries wherever you want so it won't enter those areas

    There should be more than 2 floors option, I have an elevated room downstairs and it’s in the middle of the house and the inside kitchen has 2 stairs down , so it’s likr I have 5 floors ..

    I can only save 2 maps in my app with the N8. ??? How can I save more maps?

      Once you start using so in the app left bottom corner there's one edit map function.if you click on that then you can see how many you can save...if they are showing only two maps then can save only 3..if got 3 then just click on that & run deebot so automatically 3rd map strat once cleaning complete then just save the map

    Deebot has mapped outside my house where there are windows but I cannot bring walls inwards. How do I fix it?

      create areas and rooms in edit and it will ignore outside, even if it can see thru glass

    Not getting the notification of saving the map...what should I do?

      Map automatically will be save in app n for map there wont be a notification but deebot will give a voice message that cleaning is complete returning to the charging dock....once it connects the charger after few minutes map will be automatically saved...after mape complete then u can use some more functions...

      Hi..may i know when u receive this error..while pairing with app or while functioning..because these errors related only with app connection...maybe time out or might be wifi signal got some issue

      So far only t9 model can save 3 maps...previous models even t8, T8aivi n t8 plus also can save only 2 maps

      Actually I fixed it. I have thresholds between rooms and the deebot was getting stuck there and hence was not completing the mapping efficiently. Fixed now. All ok. Btw during mopping is it ok to keep the vaccum on?

      Yes no problem....but 8f u do vacuuming first then attach moping plate then moping cloth can use longer n wont be dirty after finish job...bcoz dust already collected in dust box..but if u want can use both functions together no issue

    why is it taking so long time for charging ...daylong if we charge..it works only for 40 mins maximum..correct me where am I going wrong

      Which model you are using?? All models different run time. All models take almost 3-4 hours to be fully charge...laser distance sensor assembly models are quite intelligent..they won't work until battery die they work until cleaning is complete....if u r using in a small area deebot can vover maybe in 20-30 minutes then automatically it will go back to charge...make sure u r using in open big area so deebot can work for long time...

    When i searched for a video like this, RUclips recommended this one but i never clicked on it because the title says save multi maps in minecraft. I figured it was about the game and just ignored it. I wonder how many other people thought the same thing. Change the title.
