- This is a DIY and review of the carbon fiber powerchamber intake kit with the Odyssey PC680 battery from Password JDM.
Vehicle is an 07 Honda Civic Si with a stock ECU tune. FlashPro is recommended with this intake. - Авто/Мото
Recently got the Hondata reflash. Car is much different now. Night and day difference with the intake/tune combo
The filter on this intake sits far away from any heat sources on the engine. I also did not want to go with a cold air because I was worried about hydro locking. I also saved some weight with this intake and I needed a new battery anyways. On top of all, it looks absolutely amazing.
password jdm, is definitely producing great quality in parts especially their carbon/Kevlar products. very well made
Yes, good point. After the video was made, I routed that hose differently so that it was not kinked. Trimming it could also be an option.
good DIY. very clear. i think im going to pull the trigger on one of these soon.
I've actually got this on my 06 RSX-S. Just FIY, with the battery, relocater, and intake, it ends up costing around 600 bucks. I also got mine with the velocity stack. Expect about 13-14 horsepower to the front wheels...I did a back to back with my stock airbox.
Very nice! Looks really good.
good video, looks like it made a huge temperature difference. You should post a video when you get flashpro with some runs and your thoughts. Thanks
Nice job!
About time someone posted up a diy video, but i can't say much i have one too an didn't post a vid. LoL
I was installing mine yesterday. All in all, removing the bracket support for the OEM battery and OEM air intake box, it's taken about 2 hrs. It's a lengthy process and I'm kinda regretting that I got this because I don't want to install the stock one back in when inspection time comes.
Make a video of the tuning pls
nice DIY man, I've actually been looking at some intakes for my 06 RSX S and this was one I've been looking into. If you don't mind me asking what made you pick this one or what did it offer that was better than any other choices besides what you said in the vid or was that the only reason?
Is there another way to relocate the battery?
nice video danieeelll. can you install one on my mini van ?
Looking more at the pc925. Would you know if the pc925 battery will fit in with the original location for the Civic si 8th gen?
Also is it possible to fit a pc925 with the pswd jdm re locator, is there an option for that?
What flash did you end up doing on your flash pro with the intake? Just the same intake and I don’t know which flash to go with
Did you have to relocated your battery for install or?
What Odyssey 680 battery is it? I’m trying to get the two set ups and I can find the kit but the battery is separate and they are like 4 kinds of 680. Thanks
I don't have Flashpro yet.... gotta save some chedder first
What size is the intake??
How long u were drinking ur car with out the flash-pro.?...bro
Where did you order??
How did you route the vaccine hose? Having issues with this I have it jerry rigged right now with a shaved homemade adaptor and some electrical tape. Works but looks like crap
Kristopher Edwards I was just trying to install mine and was wondering the same thing.
What is a vaccine hose? You mean vacuum hose?
UPDATE: THE MORE I DRIVE THE CAR, THE LESS HICCUPS I GET. CAR IDLES MUCH MORE SMOOTHLY AND DRIVES WITH LESS HESITATION. LOW TO MID RANGE POWER INCREASE IS VERY NOTICEABLE. SUBSCRIBE TO SEE MY VIDEO AS SOON AS I UPLOAD A CUSTOM E TUNE VIA FLASHPRO.
Does this have room to fit the p2r spacer and gasket? Also what if i wanted to run a j35 or j37 tb?
Tin Nguyen yes. I used to run that p2r spacer with it. Not sure about a different tb. Probably ok. Lots of wiggle room with the elbow and you could even trim if necessary
wouldn't this make u lose power
Hey man nice work but where can I get the odyssey battery re-locater from?
Al King you can order it with the powerchamber on password JDM
Gives you the option before you buy it
6:11. that is all. lol
I hate when people spell vtec wrong
What if your battery dies and you need to jump start your car? Lol
