Love the video... you got straight to the point... thank you!
At my work were trying to jump one thats completely dead, how do you open then trunk to jump it without prying it open?
3 years late im sure you found out by now, but underneath the rear driver seat there is a loop. pull the loop tightly and sometimes you have to push the trunk down and then open the trunk latch.
Thanks Bro
Thanks for this. My QP lost its mind the other day. All kinds of bizarre behavior caused by very low battery. While installing a CTek charger (like the one shown) I found a charging jumper already installed on the battery!
Hello Ron.. How much are the trickle chargers for the Maserati. I have a 2010 QP GTS
For the life of me couldn’t figure this one out
Nice vid, thanks Ron. Interesting seeing the trickle charger badged Maserati. I'm sure it is exactly to same as my CTek which cost around £35 ($45) that I use on my Ghibli - wonder how much Maserati would charge?
Good question, I'm looking on eBay and am seeing $175 (USD) so I would keep your charger as it essentially does the same thing.
can you make a video on how to connect and use the battery trickler?
Yeah I really should, I'll get on that soon!
Would be nice if the video showed how to connect the trickle charger...
Could you please tell me where to connect the charger? I can't find it in the owners manual, and I did not find anything in the engine bay.
After I jump the battery and it starts, after some time the car starts dying out. Any idea what it is?
This video just saved my life... The car started acting super erratically at the airport, so I turned it off, just to find that it wouldn’t start. In the departure lane at JFK! I was panicking, I thought they were going to tow the car and create another headache. Then this video popped up and was like “Ok! IVE GOT IT!”
Hey quick question, my battery died and the pull cable does not work. Wjat should I do? 2008 gt
Rons my bro i had the battery dead then connected a device like this it turn on but i left it hooked up 2 min and accelerate it and suddenly if tueturnedn off dead.. im sure its a fuse.. can you directly me which fuse might be the one that needs to be changed? mine is a 2018 sport
The manual trunk release located in the rear compartment next to driver side seat does not work. Is there a latch or something in the latch lock area I need to reset or hook up?
Did you ever get this resolved? I can't get the trunk to open. Fully dead battery.
@@kwil4889 no. I believe the release at the trunk end is broken. I haven’t taken it for repair yet.
Never remove the jump box that fast after start up , the alternator will put out max amps to try to charge a battery that’s dead and can burn out the alternator , leave the jump box on for at least 10 minutes frer start up so alternator can charge at a less output
Joe Mama this is bs lol
What about dead dead when there is zero juice and you can't open the trunk ?
there is a latch below the rear seat (driver's side) that you pull on to open the trunk
0:34 NOT the way to open battery terminal. Watched video, did the same thing and broke the cover. There are 2 push button tabs that need to be pressed to properly open.
You don’t explain how to open the trunk when it’s dead.
There's a little loop cord that you pull tucked down the side of the back seat at the left hand side. Pull that for manual boot opening.
Video was no help. A little explanation would have helped
