Address: Jalan Karang Sari 2, Sanur
As I go to new places and try new things in Sanur, I'll be posting updates on a regular basis, so subscribe to see what else I stumble upon.
I will never ever forget the welcome that Anna gave us when we returned post pandemic.....she could see us walking towards the warung from the main road. She stepped out into the street and opened her arms wide.
The food there only matches the excellent service.....always a few laughs......always made to feel special. Just a wonderful couple.
Yeah Anna is great. I’m surprised that more people don’t head down there for a meal.
Great little warung. Good cheap food and Anna is a lovely hostess.
Absolutely agree with all of that!
❤
Have you been there Yen?
Balinese Tuna Curry is the best in Sanur! Say hello to Anna as known her for many years…her warung is one of the best in Sanur 💚
I’m only a newbie when it comes to Warung Anna, so I’ve only just discovered how good her food is recently. Definitely one of the better warungs I’ve tried in town! I’ll try that curry next time I’m there!
You are so right best tuna kuri I have an 11 week countdown
You go to Anna for her spicy chicken and sense of humour
Absolutely. It’s certainly a popular place!
Hi Adam, I like your videos. A suggestion, we travel ones a year from Holland to Sanur. Last year we stayed in Artotel and we are so happy with the breakfast and the dinner. We are back in Sanur in June. Best wishes and good job. Toni
Thank you! I have seen Artotel and the location is really good.
That warung will be my morning go to in 7 weeks. :)
I bet the 7 weeks can’t go fast enough!
Thank you for continuing to post up reviews of Warungs, coffee spots and restaurant’’s in the Sanur region. As someone who is starting back to get reacquainted with Sanur after nearly 30 years, these videos help with ideas and suggestions and i will be coming over in 1o days time and have another couple of trips booked as well this coming year. I Found a couple of spots on my trip late last year, but your channel has given me many new ideas, so my thanks again .
Thanks for the comment! I’m trying to get around to as much as possible as I’m fairly new myself having only moved over from Java last year.
I’m trying to get my head around what people really want to see in videos. I’m trying to give a mix of the places I really like, but also some things out of people’s comfort zones as well as the more traditionally likeable places. That means that not every video is going to have something that everyone likes, but it should give people a broad picture of what’s available, and from there they can pick and choose what they do when they arrive.
Spicey chicken yes
Seems to be the go!
Hey Adam - Anna's is great. if you walk 50 metres towards the bypass ( up thats side road ) thats where we are in Emerald Villas. I'm landing back this Friday - my shout for a lunch and catch up to tap into your indonesian knowledge - just need to pick a day next week - cheers Mike D
You’d be well acquainted with Anna’s then. There’s a sate shop next door I’ve been tempted by as well, but I’m not sure there is enough about the place to make an entire video about.
Happy to catch up next week. Let me know once you’ve arrived and we can hit up a place… keen to try something out of your comfort zone? No guts or weird stuff of course.
@@SanurDiaries haha - you are talking to a guy who eats raw chicken and beef. Plus when I eat a Vietnamese pho I order the combination to get the weird stuff. But I’ll follow your lead
Hey Adam - what do you thinbk the best way for us to contact each other and catch up is? I dont think you are on facebook or messenger
Shoot me an email at sanurdiaries@gmail.com and we can go from there.
