These homemade dog treat recipes are super easy to make - in fact, they only require a few ingredients each. However, they do require long periods of time in the oven, so make sure you'll be home for a while before starting these DIY dog treat chews.
These 2-ingredient DIY dog treats are also grain-free and are relatively soft for treat chews, so they won't hurt your pupper's teeth.

Feeding a dog anything chewy similar to a fruit roll up risks the chances of choking. Dogs do not chew like people, they chew just enough for the piece to be swallowed. Be careful with chewy foods. ⚠️
We grow bananas. I threw one away and our Aussie chased it thinking it was a toy. Then he devoured the whole thing. So, we're going with the banana/peanut butter recipe. Thanks for sharing.
Pipe the apple/pumpkin into strips then pop into DEHYDRATOR
Great idea!
9 hours in the oven seems like a huge waste of electricity.
That’s why it may make more sense to purchase them! Just depends on what you prefer.
9 hrs in the oven? Ok I'll just buy one😂😂
Haha yeah it’s quite the commitment. Gotta be in the crafty mood. Probably better for a winter activity too! 😅
Do you have to refrigerate them?
Do they go bad right a way .cause iam about to do a recipe my self with what I have. I don't have any idea in how they will come out cause I am thinking out the box here. similar to your. But I am going to using a different Mystics useing my blender kind of - same way - it going to take a lot way work - but I hope it will be worth it . I already have my rice going now I need the rest of my stuff to do some dog food cause my dog are eating me out of my chicken I don't cook for me I cook for them and
I just got fish pork an chorizo .and just a bite of chicken so know I got to take some action here make something that will last instead of my to small dogs eating me out really my dog keeps jumping on me she want food once she eat then she leaves me along small dogs eat a lot 4-5 times a day. I will try your treats for theyer snakes. And stop them from eating me out as well .that's a good idea to thank you for your recipe seen here in you tube.iwill try it out. Keep doing your thing.
Both treats look easy enough to make! Thanks for the recipes! I think my pup would like both of them too
Hope you and your pup enjoy them!
How about air fryer directions. I'm not having my oven on for 8 hrs
Seven to nine hours! ....That would make them extremely expensive chews in energy cost alone.
Yes it would be best to do a batch in a convection oven I think or a dehydrator.
How long do these keep and where do you store them? Thank you!
9 hours in oven? Is that like in dog hours? 😄😉
My dogs would love both treats ..I have pumpkins 🐶🐶 thank you for sharing in definitely going to make both treats 😄 looks so good
How long does these treat last?
Wow looks so good I might just try them myself 😅
Please do! Let us know how they taste ;)
9 hours
I would like the recepie for chew bones.
You may not reply but Celsius or fahrenheit
Fahrenheit!
Your dogs are beautiful
Thank you so much. Just stumbled on your channel. I have been looking for jerky-type recipes to make for my shit tzu, Gracie. I will try these for sure and hope to find more goodies in your channel.
Going to try these thank you I’ve subscribed
We have a 7mo Cane Corso. He loves chewing! I'm going to try these. He really loves peanut butter & bananas.
hello! how long can you store the peanut butter and banana chew treats?
To much electric. Price is going up
How long do these last? 😊
I'm going to try and make these today for our fur baby, Tucker (104 lb-solid muscle GSD) He love his treats.. prefers the chewy one like these. Thank you for posting!
Hope you and your pup enjoy!
Great, Thanks
Great ideas, thank you. I am looking forward to trying them! I'm also looking to make something that is a longer lasting chew to substitute for bones or bullies. My dog has to stay away from phosphorus heavy products. Do you have any recipe recommendations for that?
Unfortunately most of the truly long-lasting chews are usually nylon-based. You could try beef cheek rolls - we've had great success with those as decently long-lasting edible chews! But those would not be something you'd make yourself.
Ty awesome!!!
Thank you ✨
thank you
Hi... great video! can these work in a dehydrator instead of the oven?
In theory this sounds great to me (although I personally don't own a dehydrator so can't say for sure). I can also see this working in an airfryer depending on the model!
Can u link the applesauce tht is safe?
Just any apple sauce where when you look at the ingredients it’s just apples, no added sugar or anything else.
Bake for 7 to nine hours?? At 175 degrees? That'll cost a bit to keep the oven running that long.
Yup, better make a big batch ;)
@@K9ofMine "We're gonna need a bigger oven"
@@fierceegal7880 :) !! Chomp
Shud v keep in d fridge??
If you don't plan on going through them fairly quickly, refrigerating is a good way to make them last longer.
Great idea
