I wanna bring some attention to two more legendary voice actors over here, them being Takaya Kuroda who's most famously known for voicing the legendary Dragon of Dojima, Kiryu Kazuma! And Hidenari Ugaki who's known for voicing the notorious Mad Dog of Shimano, Majima Goro! These two have become my most favorite voice actors these past few years as I have been progressing through the Yakuza series, there's a ton of other great voice actors in the series such as Masami Iwasaki (Ryuji Goda) Kazuhiro Yamaji (Makoto Date) Rie Kugimiya (Haruka Sawamura) some of my favorite va's have already been mentioned such as Akio Otsuka and Daisuke Ono and I thought I'd share some more as well!
Have you seen the Pop Star Epic short? It's one where Kuroda and Hidenari voice the iconic duo and are getting ready in the backstage when the rookie duo, voiced by Kazuhiro and Masami, introduce themselves while offering gifts. It's a riot since it also makes some Nishiki jokes
Love him. My favorite VS however is Yuusuke Kobayashi. Dude does fantastic as subaru in Re:Zero. He puts so much emotion into the voice acting it really brings the character and his struggles to life.
