Before this game, Kershaw was giving Yamamoto some pointers. Postgame interview, Yamamoto said "Kershaw gives good advice". 🥰

Then I look up and he’s back and better than ever lol

I think it’s because people for the most part are not really baseball fans that much anymore or just in general they are not baseball fans they are just regular people looking up different stuff on here and they come across mlb on there recommendations and also baseball is getting boring and becoming expensive and it’s also changing

with glasnow now out its looking like jack and yama are our only aces, knack can have the playoff spot and we need gavin to comeback asap, kershaw too is needed back for safety, bobby and walker are definitely out. Dodgers pitching is legit surviving on only hopes and dreams, wont be surprised if ohtani starts throwing as a reliver in game 4.

  • @galaxyheavymetal5292

yamamoto is better than ohtani as a pitcher. he can't throw over 160mph fast ball but his commands SHINES!!

@@sar4806 Recency bias has nothing to do with it.... Yamamoto won the Sawamura award 3 years in a row in Japan.
He already is at Ohtani's level if not better when you only look at pitching stats.
Ohtani is amazing, but he still has 0 cy young awards after this many years in the league, it's his combination of being the best hitter on the planet, as well as a top 10 pitcher that make him so amazing. Meanwhile healthy Yamamoto can easily become the best pitcher in the league. Add onto that fact, he is only mid-twenties and will only be getting better as he gets into his prime. Expect multiple Cy-Young awards for Yamamoto if he stays healthy by the time he is Ohtani's current age.

Yama should definitely try to paint a 4 seamer on the corner below, if they think he’s going to throw a split because some times when he faces a batter the second or third time they don’t really chase it. If he tries to throw a 4 seamer or 2 seamer above to deceive his curve ball, the league is done lmao.
