While Andy Biersack is a musician in real life (Black Veil Brides), the vocals for songs in the movie were done by Remington Leith, the lead singer of Palaye Royale.
Andy Biersack and Ben Bruce are in their own Bands. Ben is in a british metalcore band called Asking Alexandria and Andy is in the American rock band called Black Veil Brides
The top of the stairs of the Rainbow Bar and Grill, which are ascended in the film, now display an American Satan movie poster, appropriately enough.
In 2016, Andy Biersack was cast in the movie American Satan with big names like Denise Richards and BooBoo Stewart, got married to Juliet Simms, and released his first solo album as Andy Black all in one year.
In the scene where Johnny buys a new car, when he gets in and his hand is on the steering wheel, you see Andy Biersacks (Johnny) real life wedding ring with Juliet Simms.
Danny Worsnop, the returning vocalist of Asking Alexandria (in which Ben Bruce plays the guitar) is one of Andy's best friends. Andy and his band Black Veil Brides have been friends with Asking Alexandria for quite a long time

Great movie. You DON"T have to be into heavy metal, hard rock OR alternative to enjoy the movie. It is about every person's "fantasy" regarding the "if I can make it in the U.S."
American Satan - This movie openly builds up and explodes the music celebrity myth. American Satan explores the "myth" that Satan runs the music industry and that that if you "sell your soul" you will attain fame and fortune. Satan is portrayed by a man - actor Malcom McDowell- in the movie. Trust me, this is not a spoiler alert as you have to watch "Satan's performance."
The movie is amazing as it catually names the musical groups that "most likely" made deals with Satan . . . The movie clearly depicts 6 young people losing their souls to vice and disintegrating relationships.
NOTE - What is frightening is that whilst the End Credits are running, hard rock performers and bands in their own words admit to being possessed e.g. Ozzy Osbourne OR using sorcery ( guitarist Jimmy Page from Led Zeppelin admitting to using Crowley's "system" and it worked) to Carlos Santana. Santana's "confession" is extremely interesting.

The movie was a true portrayal to what really happens however, they didn't reveal every thing. I am an aspiring musician myself and I had to go through a lot to figure out what goes into the lyrics and the writing of music. Psychology is a huge trick. If you don't know It than your going to suck at writing lyrics. You need to know how to validate peoples traumas, its always traumas, right off the bat, you validate peoples circumstances and you slowly indoctrinate a nudge into the idea of fighting back. You get kids so locked up with associative reference so much so that you give them a place to hide in dis association with the world and make disassociation the main gole for the target audience so they can "Have a good time" when in reality, their just hypnotizing people. Studying hypnosis and mind control are a must have advantage for stardom. That's why repetitive basic music is popular. If you try writing music by imitation the furthest you will ever get is 10 hits on sound cloud at the most. You have to simulate specific key points of the brain to pull this off and still have a mass advertisement campaign worth over a million dollars. I tried to get it going on a home studio budget for over 10 years. Unless your really lucky and you make bank your not even going to make You tube stardom. I have wasted my whole life trial and error for this crap and I happen to be obsessed with it. It will drain everything out of you. You literally have to be daring enough to do what you never thought you ever would do in order to win. This dream chase is designed to make you desperate enough to be willing to do ANYTHING to get there and only people like me who has chased it long enough have learned that there is a limitation in creation and it only gets more limited as you find out the secrets. Anything that is not Christian and Biblical, is just a mockery of Christianity and Biblical stuff. The ones who know the Bible better than you do: are these people who are passionate about living by the flesh. Rock Stars, Pop Stars, Movie Stars, they all have one thing in common: making Christianity look like a crime and a conspiracy for white male dominance so they can usher in a new world order. These people really do molest children, sacrifice babies, drink blood, and eat human flesh. The reason you will never know even if I tell you is because you didn't chase your dream for so long that you looked in the mirror one day and found yourself realizing you don't even know who you are anymore. You slowly turn into one of them out of desperation. A fresh meat musician is so vulnerable and leverageble they can get these new kids to do anything. They want nothing more than to get out. Some like myself can see whats coming and realize there must be more to it. I have never partaken in Satanism or any rituals but the psychology and manipulation was enough to get me to realize this is more than just expressing how you feel. Most people don't even know about how emotions can be used as weapons. Circumstance can control a persons decisions and these circumstances that induce the altumadems do this or face humiliation and shame and rejection what do you think these people are going to do? It can be anything in not dressing cool enough to being the wrong skin color in the wrong place and time. Peoples lives are what those in control of circumstances say it is. Down to every last decision that they make. Those in control of all circumstances will one day control the world and all these peoples decisions on a day to day basis. Its already happening.

Its a sign that the rabbit hole is deeper. Satan possesses people and the lawyer is the return of Satan. They are puppets, and they are owned by Satan by biblical law. They are tied to him. He will keep coming back in many forms and he will not stop until the band is drained dry and dead. If they don't comply, they die, they play mind tricks on the band with Gabrial which is not Gabriel its just an imposter. Its so watered down from what really happens so I'm not surprised that it flew over your head.

Yeah, I guess it was “real” in the beginning but it really was cliché af. The fact that Lily says “fuck you, im not a cliché” literally means it’s cliché as hell, haha. I like the fact that Lily wasn’t really even Lilly but a manifestation of Satan but like it just went by too fast the story line was all over the place - you could tell like it was choppy as hell. I wish they would have just spent more time on character development. The acting was ON POINT though. It was an okay movie 🍿 but they could have slowed down and pieced everything together better.

You on the left, movie poster in the background, movie logo in the bottom left, and "MOVIE REVIEW" in the bottom right in the exact same yellow font that he uses. Switch it up a bit dude!

I finally watched and I liked a lot. However, I think how the film was put together could have been better. Like the scenes were so cut and pasted together. Everything was straight up my alley though.

I couldn't stand this movie 😅 I really wanted to like it. But this movie was so horrible. It just reminded me of other movies that I would rather watch. Specifically The Dirt and Green Room. Of which both are on Netflix and you guys should watch.
