When I first watched American Satan I was completely confused about someone else lip synching for Andy Biersack. Later, I understood the reason why. Remington Leith has such a unique voice that he absolutely kills every song he does. I started listening to Palaye Royale last year and he quickly became one of my favorite rock vocalist. 🖤
i can agree ,, he's my favourite singer too . but i think that andy should have actually sang
I mean, the reason was because they couldn't get the rights to Andy's voice since back then he was with Universal and the show was developed by Sumerian, who are a direct competitor. It does bring a uniqueness to the character but they probably would've gone with Andy's voice if they could've at the time. It would also be weird to start changing stuff now.

It wasn’t a rights issue, Avildsen said it’s because having Andy sing would make it hard for people to see the character of Johnny, they’d just see Andy. He wanted someone who sounded more tortured.

Every time I watch the movie or the series, I have to suspend disbelief as I watch Andy sing with Remington’s voice. They have such unique vocals and unique looks. I would love to see both of them in this series. Can you bring Remy in and have him sing with Andy’s voice so I can enjoy that too?

I love Andy and know he wasn't allowed to sing, but I'm so thankful they chose Remington to sing instead. I still haven't seen Paradise City but I'm still in love with the soundtrack to the show and American Satan.
It's not the best show ever. It can get predictable and boring but if you like the old characters, you'll find enjoyment in the new series. ALSO THE NEW SONGS THEY ADDED ARE JUST AS GOOD AS THE ONES IN AMERICAN SATAN (in my opinion). Definitely check the songs out if you like these.

Could be contract issues. Kind of like when Jonathan Davis of Korn did the songs for the soundtrack to Queen of the Damned, he could actually do the songs used for the movie, as it was licensing, but the songs used had to be done by others (Marilyn Manson, Wayne Static, Jay Gordon , Chester Bennington) for the actual soundtrack album, as that's distribution and the movie production/label was on direct competition with the contract he had with his label. Like if it were WB and Universal or something of that nature. I'm of course not saying it's Biersak's scenario, just that it could be something of a likewise nature.
Season 2 needs to hurry up and come out already LOL I've already watched season 1 and American Satan over a hundred times

Same record label so yeah they could do a couple. Idk if its in their contract tho. Some bands are like that and since this teeechinacly isnt a real band I think its in kind of a grey area. Or they just have a different taste in music and probably just wanna stick to their stuff

Regardless of their decision it’s disappointing to not see female artist representation when there are so many talented women who I feel could’ve made the story better at the end of the day it is an opinion

Lead vocals in American Satan are done by lead vocalist of Palaye Royale, Remmington. Lead actor (“Johnny Faust”) is the lead vocalist of Black Veil Brides, Andy Biersack. :)
