I like this band and really enjoy this song, but that bass drop sounded pretty much like the bass drop in every other one of their songs. I do kinda wish they would change that up a bit tbh

One of the things that's so fuckin awesome about Ronnie's music is that he never truly gives in to the darkness. It's a constant, epic dance/fight with his demons and he never gives up... and that's heroic. He's turned his pain into art, and that's beautiful.
he has been fighting old versions of himself since losing my life. too many people stuck on the old jail ronnie. dudes growth both personally and musically has been drastic.
Radke has a great voice, as always, but I also love how he builds it up from the beginning of the video with each "self/voice" that dies, has that brief quiet-before-the-storm moment, and then lets it explode at 2:13. That staccato "we're all gonna die" punctuated by gunfire at 2:30 was beautifully done. Lyrically, it's uncomfortably relatable, but I still love it. Every day is a battle in your own mind and no matter how many of those voices you kill off there are always more waiting to drag you down and tear you apart.
Ronnie, your lyrics are scaring me, my dude. The world needs you. Your daughter needs you. You've saved more lives with your music over the past 15+ years than you know. Those people still need you. Let that be a light in your darkest times. Keep finding the strength to fight your demons. You're not yet all you could be. Tough times don't last, but tough people do. Your music has filled the past 10 years of my life with the motivation to finish that last rep in a workout, to become the best version of me possible for my family and, to strive towards fulfilling my potential. I look forward to the next 10 years of my life with more of your artwork filling my playlists. Will look forward to meeting you one day and shaking your hand with a smile.
The change in his voice front the first verse, second, and third. That gave me chills! Each a different voice but still Ronnie. An amazing vocalist and lyrics that express the mental issues the majority of us deal with everyday. That is why his music is so relatable.
He also lives it and he has persevered through it all and made it work out. Drug free and he accepts his past ! 🤘🏼 I’ve talked w him a few times 👨🏻🚒 on tour in Boston /worcester ! Like him for beating all the doubters ! #Underdog
Um, wow. That breakdown was insane. Lot of little references to previous songs, amazing production value on the video as usual. It's honestly been like 30+ years since I've seen this degree of excellence in music video form. Basically since MTV was in it's prime in the late 80's.
@@poisontoga He references a lot of his alter egos in this clip, from the very first emo Ronnie, to vampire Ronnie and in between. He’s killing off all his “alters” it seems. Also, this was obviously filmed before he blacked out his body art. It’ll be interesting to see if he shows this in the next video or not. Either way, yet another epic music video and song.
I love that all the songs are different. Not albums of the same thing same style with just new words. Falling changes so much each new song. Yet keeps the bands identity and gains fans faster every release
I grew up listening to Chester Bennington's lyrics, his lyrics always expressed how I felt. Now that he's gone Im glad to know you exist, because your lyrics are a great example of whats going on in my head. So thank you for that! Thank you for being this honest!
@Katherine V of course I still listen to his songs, almost everyday, but since he's dead there will not be more songs. That's why I said Im happy to have Ronnie's music. Thought it wasnt necessary to do the whole explanation
I literally listen to "Voices in my head" , "Zombified" and "Watch the world burn" every single morning and evening to and from work. The CHILLS his music gives me is insane. His songs itch my brain so perfectly. I cannot get enough of his voice.
@@jordanvanroyen9182 well I think that has a lot to do with the fact that RUclips wasn't rly a thing yet, & when it was, it was shit & nobody had nice phones w/ unlimited data lol. This song and video are a masterpiece! I love how Ronnie talks loudly about mental health and how the perception of life changes once you have gone through hell. Every person's demons are different, we fight with them in different ways, and sometimes we learn to live with them but this song, this song is a strong reminder that you can live with them and just become a better version of yourself. Never forget where you were and accept when you're not okay
@@dr.loomis4221 he/she/it is not labeling only, he/she/it explains why it is a masterpiece for him/her/... In my opinion thats absolut ok, and btw... I think it is a real great song. Ronnie and Band doing a great Job with their songs, and yes, I think there are some masterpieces. The most songs are very complex, he raps, he sings, he shouts, their are hard, pop and soft parts. All this pieces are often in a perfect symbiosis. respect!
This song just shows you ronnie is a human just like everyone else . hes been in the game for so long he knows how to reach the masses on a emotional level
EPIC/MIND-BLOWING!!! The way Ronnie is killing the old versions of himself in the video is his rebirth from conquering his addiction of drugs to being in and out of jail/prison. Congratulations to 16 years of sobriety!
I think this song is as much about Ronnie continuing to reinvent himself and stay relevant and successful despite multiple attempts from the media and everyone else telling him that he's done as much as it is about him growing and not being the person he was in the past. He's literally killing off the past versions of himself and moving past pieces of his life that were less glamorous and very difficult. Maybe that's why he's blacked out all his tattoos recently? He no longer needs the reminder of who he once was when he's trying to grow into something better. He's literally and physically a blank slate. Regardless, you can't deny that he's a genius and enormously talented. Here's to another #1 🍻 Go Ronnie🙌
@@perlenbacher6788 I'm so glad you commented. I literally placed that comment there for you to take time out of your day to read and respond to. You're killing it.
I feel that Ronnie is on a next level creativity and pure musical talent. The songs he writes are just pure fire!!!!!!!!!!! Then there is this guys success story which is every bit as epic as Alice Coopers.
These dudes just don't know how not to rock the damn house down. Every track is insane, and the talent is palpable. Nobody out there can compare. Period.
I never took the time in recent years to watch Falling In Reverse music videos, usually only listen to music on spotify. I am happy I have gone down the RUclips rabbit hole of watching them all today. This one stuck out for me at this moment in my life. Voices of self doubt, anxiety, excuses, hopes and dreams...which one of myself am I going to allow to stand on top of the heap?
You have no idea how right you are. I'm going to censor myself but when you know what the right thing to do is and there's a monkey on your back bc of your past pain/trauma it gets really hard to just keep fighting. But I'm not even fighting just feeding the darkness if I'm being honest.... sorry I'll fuck off.

This video is quite poetic. I did not expect this with the first couple lines of the song. True, though, each time we change, we basically kill off our old selves. Ronnie's crazy talented, I can't say that enough, from his songs to his video ideas.
These lyrics hit hard. As a vet with deep PTSD issues both from service and outside life, the way the story is portrayed in this song is a perfect representation of what goes through my head at times. PTSD and the other issues in my head are always at war with the way I should see things. My favorite lyrics are "The voices in my head keep on telling me I'm cursed. I'm paranoid. I dont wanna make it any worse. We're all gonna die, but first things first, I'm gonna take the world with me when they put me in the dirt." It perfectly resonates with me.
As an add on, I can definitely get having voices in my head pulling one way then the other. Inner demons are the hardest to fight. I wish this song would have been around earlier in my life.
Hey mate. I was looking through the comments, searching for someone, whom (? im not native to english) feels also like the lyrics and the video portraits. I just wanted to say; stay strong. You are strong. I know what it´s like, to have voices/ the feeling of voices whispering ect. due to my PTSD and ye, lets say other issues... "The voices in my head Keep on begging me to stay If I pull the trigger now Then the demons go away" is the part, which mostly represents my "episodes" of all of what happens in my head. And as i heard this song here. I was so scared but also so relieved... that someone rly knows, what it feels like.
I feel you, brother. That small circle slowly shrinking and eating away what's left of us. Some will say loud music is stupid> I say it depends on our perspectives and how we take musical messages. This hit hard, and I appreciate a loud slap of the truth in the face to at least give me something to hold on to. Thanks, Ronnie!
@@prol1shed995 I hate to break it to you, but "gay emo scene kids music" is a subgenre of rock/metal, depending on which bands you look at, because some are heavier than others. I know you're probably disappointed and/or shocked, but it's the truth. Whatever rock bands you listen to that are "true rock" are probably some of the bands that inspired this genre of music. So yes, "gay emo scene kids music" is rock. Doesn't have to be Led Zeppelin, AC/DC or any other of those bands to be rock. These bands just took what they heard and did something different with it, with the instruments, etc. That's like saying some musicians aren't pop artists just because they aren't Taylor Swift.
@@prol1shed995 Did you drop out in like, 3rd grade or something? That's like, a small paragraph. Granted, I wouldn't expect much from a dude who uses "gay" as an insult. Meh, whatever. You do you.
Let me tell you Ronnie is one freaking genius in the music industry out there, he's so aware of everything, he's so ahead of his time, he's so aware of how to create hype and make BIG singles, sonically he pulls every trigger that he can and he can't do any wrong cause there's so much raw talent in him and this band. Really hope you're doing well right now and can't wait to get a thousands more of these bangers. We Love You!
I would put him a touch behind or at least tied with Chris Motionless, but that is all personal preference of what you like. Ronnie got Chris beat on rapping for sure, but Chris can sing far better clean vocals. Both have next level screaming/growling
This song just shows their improvement in songwriting and singing. Ronnie Radke can really do it all and he just keeps getting better. Can't wait to see them in concert!!
It took me a while to realize the voices aren’t antagonizing him. They’re poking him on the shoulder like “hey bud, you’re not ok, we need to stop this spiral” But he doesn’t want to talk about it. Trust me I get it. This song is SO well written.
And then when it talks about him trying to convince himself that he's okay but knowing it's not, transitioning to thoughts of suicide HE IS A LYRICAL GENIUS!!!!

Thank you Mister Radke and friends....
Loved Ronnie in Escape The Fate but Ronnie in Falling in Reverse is something even more special. The talent, creativity & emotion in his music is incredible. Need to see Falling in Reverse live ASAP 🔥
Как же Ронни хорошо. Всегда прыгает выше головы. Это одна из немногих групп, которая от релиза к релизу не скатывается, а эволюционирует. Как же я счастлива, что могу слушать эту группу. Пойду переслушаю ещё раз
As a person that struggles hearing voices most of the time, since I have schizophrenia, this song hits me on a different level... really good work and love the song... it helps me get through the day and sleepless nights I have. Thank you Falling in reverse for being an awesome band!
I finally realize that this song is about how your past and present can prevent you from discovering what potential you can muster. You got to fight the voices in your head that keep contemplating your past and present.
I love how he was killing different versions of himself. Prolly one of the coolest music videos I've ever seen. And that break down at move was outta this world
Seems more like it’s every genre Ronnie has done than the entire band. The whole song seems to be about Ronnie fighting his past and his inner demons and keeping himself together as time goes on.
I love it, what's y'all's favourite FIR song? Tough choices lol I think mine could be Sink or Swim. It needs a music video. Imagine em at sea on a ship during a lightning thunderstorm waves crashing over maybe a Kraken reaching from underneath grabbing onto all sides bracing to pull it under. OMG yo we NEED this video.
Wow, this song speaks volumes to me! As someone who suffers from PTSD and severe anxiety, this song is something I can identify with... When I am having a panic attack, all of a sudden this horrible feeling of doom washes over me and my subconscious starts talking me in going to die or that something horrible is going to happen then I have everyone telling me "you are fine, it's ok" when I know and that person knows that I am far from ok... This song makes me feel validated and reminds me I'm not alone... I am working on trying to put my old self, the one who went through and experienced all of the trauma, to rest and start living again, but it's really hard, it's definitely a long journey!

@amandahawkins87 we can never put our old self to rest permanently or we lose all that we've survived. We are walking scars that take it a day at a time. The trauma we've gone through we can use to help someone else survive. I'm not sure the PTSD will ever go away but it becomes manageable if we know our triggers. The anxiety and panic attacks...I'm still trying to get through those without losing my mind. I wish you love and light on this journey, sister. You are not alone❤
Been a Ronnie fan since 06, and best believe me son he learned how important it was from 'Situations' over a prison line homie. One of my fave burns he put on Robert (the drummer who owns ETF) was "I'm a platinum selling artist, Robert, your only platinum album has ME on it" idk if it's true I didn't check but it was a Uber sic burn
Falling in Reverse is a band that makes me feel good. Ronnie sings about mental health and stuff, he literally screams it out. I have several mental illnesses and this relieves me kinda. He's saying stuff, I'm not always able to say because of rejection. He describes how I feel most if the time and I think it's wonderful, it gives me the strength to speak up.
I also have mental illnesses, and what I've learned because of Ronnie and other artists, such as NF, is I'm allowed to feel what I feel. I hope you find your voice. Its better to be rejected than it is to be unheard
I have a few... ehh... problems. I am a veteran with a fairly well documented path and when I tell my Docs I have a problem they blow me off. Never mind my Problem may wind up on the news with me... maybe... in jail. I keep saying this and they just hand me government approved drugs then double down when I say I may have a homicidal reaction to the meds... and say we have to try the old meds first. OK I guess if I have a homicidal reaction first they know the reaction and they can treat me from there.........But if it suicidal...Welp...I guess they don't have to deal with me anymore....I don't understand how you can PLEAD with a doc and say you have had bad reactions to previous meds and they call the nurse and give you samples of the same meds just to see what side of the news you end up on. Double vision. It's ok. Bifurcated (Blown/Torn) bicep. It's OK. Bad reaction to meds. You have to try them again. (do they have an office pool to see what happens?) I've watched so many reaction videos to this song and I've yet to see anyone mention the locked cell at the start of the video and how it's unlocked and open at the end of the video and how significant that is.
You seem like someone who has never dealt with depression and suicidal thoughts. There are not multiple voices in your head(schizophrenia is a different story). It is you, there is not another voice telling you to pull the trigger. The song is about to put the trigger and kill yourself. The video turns it on the other side but depends on having the been there and not been there. Great musical composition.
1st of all we need to shout-out Jenson Noen(director). The dude absolutely kills it every time. He's literally giving us masterpieces in a very short period of time. Also, no praise needed to Ronnie and Falling in Reverse but I have to do it. These dudes are killing it, especially Ronnie. He touches on subjects that most artist are scared to, that's why it resonates with so many people. He's also not scared to try something different vocally and it's so catchy. This song slaps!
Agree, I mean with the third eye and getting to see what's all going on in his head and then when he's done the door is open?! That's such an awesome visual interpretation. Hats off to all who make these videos come to life!
@@sarahdowns8719 agreed. That’s how I seen it as well. I seen the cell door locked meaning he’s trapped inside his own mind. The 3rd eye opening is like a gateway to his thoughts. But, still have had trauma S.abuse or abuse of any kind. I think very few people have had good lives. It seems most people's lives were awful in some way or something awful happened to them. Growing up in the 70s and 80s. had my boys at 18, and 21. They didn't talk much about mental health issues. I thought I was the only one having anxiety and depression. I thought it was because I was taking care of my elderly physically disabled mother and raising 2 kids IN A TOWN and region I HATED. ( Oh and the father of my kids died when I was pregnant with our second baby). I had no idea others suffered anxiety for no reason. I couldn't understand nothing bad was even happening at the time. One of the things that's so fuckin awesome about Ronnie's music is that he never truly gives in to the darkness. It's a constant, epic dance/fight with his demons and he never gives up... and that's heroic. He's turned his pain into art, and that's beautiful.

@@krl6760 As long as he's bringing rock back. Everything is the same- A perpetual fight of good verses evil
... At what point did he imitate MGK outside of parody? I think he just told that man that this his craft. Beautifully executed.
Well fucking said!
Oh man, that badass B Part is just perfect. I love those muzzle flashes with the music. Thank you and greetings from germany.
The change in his voice front the first verse, second, and third. That gave me chills! Each a different voice but still Ronnie. An amazing vocalist and lyrics that express the mental issues the majority of us deal with everyday. That is why his music is so relatable.

I love that Falling in reverse is showing the industry that music can still have amazing lyrics and sound great at the same time.

We run towards the gunfire brother, but unfortunately sometimes the gunfire doesn't leave our ears. Chin up, you got this.

this isnt rock its gay emo scene kids music

(do they have an office pool to see what happens?) It's almost like the motorcycle movie where they keep blocking the faster cycle just to make him mad enough he does something STUPID.

@@srussert28 that’s fucked up, I hope you get some help other than meds thrown in your face pal. Maybe try switching doctors? But all doctors usually just like pushing pills anyways so maybe try a therapist? I’m sure you’ve already tried but there’s things out there that can help you
Another song i am addicted to!! The singing…the beat 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. I love this video.. i feel like I am watching a movie!! ❤
Right? 🔥🤍🤘 Same here!! 💙
@@Aemilius46 its crazy amazing!! I can’t believe I just found this video a month ago. 🤟🤟🙌🙌💗💗

its almost ur expiration 😌
I'm 53 and this is my favorite song also. Lol
Age is just a number. We're all just on our own unique journeys through life. Let's embrace each day as it comes and focus on making the most of the time we have.
57yrs and impressed.
@@b4phomette a horrible person
FIR does not disappoint whatsoever. The quality of the song and videos are literally S tier. Can’t even deny that Ronnie is such a musical genius
He starts out in a cell, then the scene moves into his head, where he proceeds to kill off all of the old versions of himself. A fantastic representation of the healing process. Kudos to these guys.
fears too, not only old versions
@@Marielitast agreed. True fact, I should know, my head feels like a chaotic circus in the hurricane and fighting myself is like a war, me against the army and facing fear inside.
he killed someone and put a 12 year old girl in the hospital
I've watched so many reaction videos to this song and I've yet to see anyone mention the locked cell at the start of the video and how it's unlocked and open at the end of the video and how significant that is.
Still can't get over how good Ronnie is at acting.
1st of all we need to shout-out Jenson Noen(director). The dude absolutely kills it every time. I really feel like he listens to the song and in his own interpretation he produces what he feels like the song is about. He's amazing. His body of work speaks for itself.
Then at the end of it the door is open because his thoughts were no long trapped any more. The director is brilliant. I would to see him write and direct a movie. He would kill it.
Agreed 💯
I thought the scene where Ronnie's in the elevator listening to the song like it's elevator music was hilarious.
Damn that “move” gets me every time full body chills
😁😁😁😁😁
bring me the horizon vibe eh
It's awesome!!!
this so good ! i got this and SLT - Glory on repeat all day !!! !!! !!!
2:28 "we all gonna die" synchronized with the gun fire 🔥🚒. The VFX team love what they do
I never noticed he said that when the shots were fired, and now I can't unhear it!
I noticed that too. It syncs in the Ronald music video too
JEEEEZE LOUISE!
Just watched your reaction to the song, and had to come by and give your comment some attention.
Капец, Рони с каждым годом всё лучше и лучше... Просто услада для ушей 😍
Нельзя не согласиться
They're playing in the league of their own. Every song hits me straight to the heart. Absolutely love it!
I'm old as F, be 67 in 2024, this song speaks to me on many levels. my voices have been telling me I'm not ok for 54 years. Their music is so so right, spot on.
I don't believe u
@@deeillustration3021 you do now know me, you have not walked in my shoes, you do not know the weight of the burdens or demons I carry. what you hear in this song may be far different than what I do.
@@Houdini_Bob "you don't know me" yet hear you're explaining your self 😂.
Most ppl with voices in there head either want attention or are genuine and actually need help.
I've found over the years being someone who actually grew up being abused etc that most who paint there story on social media are merely seeking attention and haven't actually got a clue what a hard life is, and it's something I don't and won't do as I ain't looking for attention I grew some balls and dealt with it so because you're hear explaining yourself to a stranger I call bs
Rock on!!!! I'm 27 and love that you love this song
Hi! I thought I was the oldest person listening to this music. I'm 58 female AND I LOVE THESE SONGS OF DEEP PAIN AND MISERY. And, I'm glad your here!. I just to say that, I'm surprised at how many people have suffered. They may have had the perfect life money parents vacations. But, so many people have things like depression and body dysmorphia anxiety and mental health issues. They may have grown up in a so called good home. But, it was nice when TV shows talk shows started about all these things celebrities would talk about their lives living with depression etc. It was nice to know others were like me. Glad you're listening to this stuff. Oh listen to the songs and watch the video from DISTURBED called IN THE FIRE and ASYLUM. Intense man... Take Care!!!.
Honestly best music video I’ve seen since the 90s
I do believe we need an entire new album. the trilogy and this plus zombified. just AMAZING
There's gonna be a new album neon zombie but no one knows when it's dropping I can't wait for it
This song definitely describes what it's like to be battling some mental health issues. Thank you Ronnie for always making such great music!
I was thinking the same thing. It describes depression perfectly.

I love that i cant actually pin down what style this is EXACTLY. He pulls in touches of so many styles and blends them perfectly.
I love how Ronnie keeps reinventing his style, he’s a true musical genius.
BTW I’m still waiting for that track with Bizarre from D12 to come out, it slaps!!
Hang on, they collabed with bizarre?! Yooooo
@@alexgreen4322 it was ages ago and hasn’t gone anywhere, but it’s some of the best rap I’ve heard Ronnie do. He made up a chorus for it on Twitch. Someone posted a grab of it from Twitch…. ruclips.net/video/0XwduolbUGs/видео.html

Should pull a collab 😭 would be absolutely fire or maybe a cover of popular monster
Love this band😊
He has top tier voice. The more heavy Falling in Reverse gets, the better it becomes. Very well produced too.
I hear notes from Papa Roach, Eminem. Linking Park and Korn. Wonderful cocktail.
got chills from his voice at 0:33
I’ve listened to this like 15 times. It’s SO fucking good. I’m obsessed. idk why Falling in Reverse gets hate, Ronnie is so good at what he does.
He’s annoying af but his voice is just 🤌🏻
Writes well too
Don't insult FIR with those double digit numbers, at least 150 now for me its fucking amazing!
@@aaronsmith5947 Aw cut me some slack! That was just the day I found out about it lol
But I concur, fucking amazing 🫶
Because he's human and he's real, people hate him for his baggage/past and for being cut throat honest about how he feels. Plus the people who are just jealous, anyone famous will have those.
This sounds like it was written under demonic influence.
Ronnie outdoing himself with every single, but it's kinda hard to go above a 10/10.

I LOVE how he recreates the image of a Buddhist Monk with the levitating whilst meditating, the shaved head and of course the orange. But he swaps it for a prison jumpsuit because he’s a prisoner to his own mind! Just GENIUS!
And then at the end, the door is open and he's free
And at the end all doors open. Mentaly and physicaly. Psychotherapy.
Damn, didnt see the top response. Lol
Glad we all agree here.

He was in prison for 2 and a half Years as well
Ronnie Radke is a Beast!! Falling in Reverse has been killing it since they changed into their own genre
