Mike Ravenkey this is late as hell lmao but in an interview the writers said that they didn’t want to use Andy’s voice because they didn’t want viewers to think “omg that’s Andy”. They felt that Remington’s voice fit Johnny’s character better.

I've been seeing a lot of comments arguing over Andy and Remington but I'm just here to appreciate both Remington's voice and Andy's acting. They are both amazing so why is it such a problem?

I was sad at first too, but then I watched the movie and preferred it. If it had been Andy's vocals we would have all still seen Andy, but with Remington's voice you can actually lose yourself in the character

They wanted people to focus more on the character Johnny. If Andy sang and acted, people would just see him as Andy. Remington's voice isn't as well known, so people would think about the message instead of just jamming to a well known singer
Don't get me wrong I LOVE Rem's voice but I'm so used to hearing Andy's deep ass voice and it's fucking with my head to see/hear Rem's voice seem like it's coming from Andy. I am honestly a little sad that Andy's label wouldn't let his voice be in the film because he has such a beautiful voice, but Rem did a great god damn job and I'm very proud of them both nonetheless.

Yeah, you do. The fans are instantly drawn to the character and are super excited to meet him. Anyone who watches the movie can get excited a few seconds in and love the character. But fans are a lot more likely to connect a lot better with the character than anyone else who goes to see the movie, because they're already attached to a prior idea of him.

Never hear of Pale Royal or BVB before, what I found is the style of music in the movie is very original, Remington’s voice never got this energy on his own videos!!! all the sound track of the movie are incredibles!!

Andy is definitely a great cast cause he has a great stage presence and obviously is already familiar with being on stage
