I have the APC10 with the RBS SQD 40. That can takes the recoil out for sure but it doesnt do much to quiet it down lol. Freedom Munitions makes a 220g 10mm Hush round that is subsonic but still not as quiet as a 9mm sub. Also I took a dremel to my safety selector after the first hour of shooting.

I love 10mm, for hunting and self defense in bear country I think it’s the best option. Yes there’s more powerful cartridges but 15 to 30 rounds of 10mm loaded with some Lehigh extreme penetrators and I’m very comfortable. Thank you Ray for the amazing review
Great review as always Ray!! The 10mm is by far my favorite pistol round. Fell in love with it when I bought my Colt Delta elite back when they first came out. Such a good round. I always wished it gained more traction.
I don’t think this will be a game changer like people think it will. BT firearms are usually a little too expensive for most people, and creating a competitor to this carbine will be tricky to get right at a decent price point. The cost of 10 mm makes this not a good plinking/range toy, and for self-defense a lot of people will choose a 5.56 instead. The cool factor is off the charts, but I think it will remain a niche thing for the foreseeable future.
This platform is simply meant to be an attractive option for many of the Glock 10mm enthusiasts, there’s a benefit to having magazine commonality between a handgun and a Carbine. B&T is known to offer many options so that the end user has many options to select from. It’s one of the things I love about B&T.
Nice gun,, we (Albuquerque SWAT) had MP5s in 10mm in the 90s. They ran fine just like the earlier ones in 9mm but we normally opted to carry M4 type rifles. I carried a Delta Elite my last 3 years. Stay Safe,,
Nice! Back in the 1990s, we (DOE SRT III) had the opportunity to evaluate one of the 3 MP5s in 10mm that were imported for evaluation. It was awesome! A bit more muzzle flip than on the 9mm, but recoil was manageable. It was rather disappointing to hear that DOE and FBI didn't approve it.
APC10 is fast shooting, runs flawlessly, and is a great sub gun, runs 30rd 10mm Glock mags, and is a pistol, that I could SBR, so I’m trying to figure out why I would want to switch to a longer weapon made by the same company. It looks like it’s just for folks that like short AR’s so it’s giving them familiar controls. Pretty sure the APC will do everything the same, and fit in a smaller pack. Glad to have anything from B&T because they’re awesome, but as an APC10 pro owner, I don’t get it.
Thanks for this review of an excellent PCC. I love Brugger & Thommet PCCs and so does the US Army. For a "bit" less money I have a 9 mm RUGER PC chassis carbine B.C shooting myPS90 got too expensive during COVID. I put a HOLOSUN AEMS circle/dot sight on the barrel Pic rail (to maintain zero no matter how many times I removed & replaced the barrel) and love this setup. BUT I have added every MCARBO, TANDEMKROSS and TACCOM part I felt would enhance the durability and ergonomics of the carbine. So yeah, I spent another few hundred $$ to get better performance.
I know nothing of how to legally take a weapon and convert it to full auto so I will be keen to watch that series. Looks like a very sweet carbine! Thanks for bringing us along.
Well, it’s not so easy. You must have an FFL first, then you have to apply for your SOT license. Specifically, a manufacturers license. Then you have to have the ability to be able to machine and make the parts necessary to make a machine gun using a form 2. It will then become a post sample and can only be used for demo purposes.
You know, Ray… MFT now makes that minimalist stock out of aluminum… And it’s a pretty sweet looking piece of kit. Would be perfect to pair with this little blaster!!
Handled one last weekend, pulling back the rear charging handle is so hard. Side charger is better. Bolt catch and release is a little out of reach for my small hands. Would like to shoot a B&T pcc again
B&T designs some exceptional Personal Defense Weapons that are hyped up on the TFB-TV Channel. My biggest issue is that you are more likely to see a UFO than a B&T product at a local gun store. If you seen one for sale at your LGS, give us a shout out. Otherwise, I'll wait for the crickets.
Palmetto State armory and quite a few stores near me in NC and SC have them in their stores. They don’t produce high quantities of products so maybe that’s why you don’t see them in every gun store around. Kind of like Ferrari dealerships. They are around but few and far between. 👍🏼
Thank You Sir! Watermelon blast! I like the information shared about the cartridge energy and how the suppressor is flow through. Was the bear coming for milk and cookies?😂 also, I like that side and rear charge are included on the firearm. Is the receiver extension empty? 👍🇺🇲
I would live too see a stretched 10mm but necked to 30 cal. Overall length no more than 41mm. Idea would be to get as close or equal to 5.56mm performance but double the qty of 30 or more rnd mags per plate carrier. Just an idea but 10mm seems best bet for balance of cartridge capacity and magazine capacity.
And sorry but for full explain. 30 cal so you could streamline projectile and barrel production between a family of shorter case pistol and longer cased (7.62*51) lmg/dmr weapons as 30 basically can share the same twist but if you have a batch lmg barrels that for whatever reason are rejected they become your carbine or pistol barrels. Those efficiencies might make the difference in 2026's alien invasion.
I hate when people say this or that pistol or rifle will be a game changer. They never are. Until we start using laser guns, none of these weapons will lead to anybody changing their tactics.
Many people carry 10mm Glocks this was meant primarily for those users, the magazine commonality is a benefit. Obviously a rifle cartridge like .300 BLK has benefits but PCCs still have their place.
radial/roller delayed, buffer-less design and this would be an ideal 10mm sub gun. me personally the only reason to carry a sub gun is the overall size when stored; knowing I'm going to sacrifice terminal ballistics. otherwise what does this have over something like an mcx? basically nothing when you're in the $3k ball park. cool gun and I want one, but for $3k it's trying to punch above it's weight class and failing IMO.

I shot my buddies in 9mm the other day, but lets be real.. what is the point? a 3k glorified pistol, if I am gonna go bigger than a pistol, whats the benefit of this when I can grab a SIG Rattler in 300 blk even smaller, or some small gun in x39
@@Citizendefenseindustry beautiful build, I sold a Scar17 to build a SLR custom AR10 with JP bcg and Criterion barrel etc, excellent, sold that for a LMT MWS H, but its good stuff, look forward to building another SLR in the future. I dig these pcc's and I think this is where 10mm shines

If this is a blow-back system, as opposed to a radial delayed (believe it’s called), the system will produce cracked, bulged cases with legit Norma Spec 10mm. My Banshee does even w the 8 ounce buffer, but cycles it. Now 180s at 1,000-1,200 fps., no bulged or cracking issues. Push 180s to 1,300+, you’ll see it. I have a pile of brass from 165s at over 1,400. Real 10mm ammunition! I’ve shot over 4K from my EDC XTEN without issues. Federal AE 180 (10mm Lite) is only about 100 fps faster than .40S&W. This might be a better option for getting quieter performance from a silencer. Otherwise, I don’t waste my money on anemic performance. 10mm Norma Spec was designed specifically to stop violent human threats by men who had extensive gunfighting experience and loved the .45, but saw the potential from the 10mm thus developing the Norma Spec loads. A byproduct is bear/animal/trail/defense with hard cast and similar projectiles. Top performing 10mm is only ~300 fps faster than a .40, therefore it’s not a .357/.41/.44 Magnum. I just laugh at those who carry a 9mm because an agency said it’s just as good (w contemporary loads) as X., but that same agency lies to the American people about everything else. The last OIS shooting video I saw, the perp took 31 9mm hits to stop! When I worked the streets, the most I saw it took from a .40S&W was three hits on target - and that’s mainly because of how we trained.
Too bad B&T demands we use hokey Glock magazines. Want to shoot any B&T 10, you have one mag choice, one lower choice and it’s not good. I’m in line for one or two of their 10’s right after they offer a reasonable choice. Thanks for the video!
As for there's no 9mm / 10mm in the PCC that's worth 2,600 dollars. I get it there's a lot of T&E and marketing like this that goes into the Cos. that put them out. I can get a 556 / 6.5 / 6.8 LWRC AR for that kind of money and have one of the best platforms on the market. Yes I get it, many of these guns are S P guns more for LE / Mil. use, nevertheless for us everyday people that enjoy the shotting world of things that's asking way to much for a gun that's Special Purpose. If we lived in a free world and could have Full Autos in this platform I would be a little more at ease with that kind of price tag, again for a semi auto no way. I would be will to do a 10mm scorpion for the daily price they are in 9mm if they would make one, that's more in lines with what they are worth IMO.
To me firearms like that are just novelty items at that length and that size of Gun and weight you’re better off building a 300 blackout, which will do more damage and is quieter. Just a range toy. 300 blackout gets full powder burn at 9 inches. Then that can pretty much makes it at 16inch pistol with rifle length. You can get a shorter suppressor, shorter barrel on 300 blackout with better ballistic performance. It just doesn’t make any sense other than it looks cool.
Odd calibers have a place, during Covid when all of the ammo dried up, I could still find 10mm at most stores, far after the 9MM, .300, 5.56 etc had dried up. It's beneficial to have weapons chambered in unconventional cartridges. The best option is to own more than one caliber, the more options the better. 10mm is also far more cost effective to shoot than .300.
