@@ChainsawFPV Nice story, when I was in Fallujah, Sangin and Ramadi, the only thing army did for me was blue on blue cause your infantry would shoot first and verify later. Sometimes we would find lost serialized gear like M-4s and NVGs the army would lose. Your officers loved coming to get them from us. In Ramadi after a few Marines took the city, we handed it over to the army only for the army to lose it , So once again a few Marines assisting CIA, Task Force Green , Nightstalkers and DEVGRU had to take it again. Long story short I remembered calling the navy and Air Force well before the conventional army forces. Usually army dogs where in the rear with the gear trying to dick down the married female soldiers, and eating McDonalds and getting fat. That's the army most doorkickers in my beloved corps know. You're one of those guys that's still paying off some mustang off with 30% interest? All these years later? I've seen a motivated Marine or two hit a mile with a out of the box Howa M1500 Hogue 7MM PRC 24" bolt-action and a Arken riflescope and Amazon Harris bipod knockoff all in for less then 1000, 900 when on sale.
@@namenotfound8747 I own everything I have. Mustangs are junk. I was Army, 1st Cav unit. Spent most of my time rescuing Marines. And I have no interest in your 900 dollar Amazon junk. Use that 900 to go buy a clue. P.S. Thats a great channel you have there. What are you, 12?
As far as the rifle I was talking about, you sure are army, only a solider would think they need a 7-15k set up for a mile long shot. Must be nice having logistics. As for Marines, we adapt.
@@namenotfound8747 You are so full of yourself, you don't even get the point of the original post. Your average person does not have 15-20 grand to spend on a rifle, or have miles of property where its safe to shoot. Giving a person with less, an opportunity to do more. You need a hobby........
@@ChainsawFPV As someone who owns guns that cost 100-20,0000 dollars my point was even if you're on a budget, with the right training and self discipline, you can spend 900-1000 dollars on a budget setup, that while not as neat as FN Ballista or Barrett MRAD with a Night Force scope, it can give you results at 1 mile because I, and others have done it using factory ELD ammo. You just dismissed it, thinking you need crazy setups which you mentioned twice now which speaks to how ill-informed and lack of formal training you have on the subject.
If I'm full of myself what does that make you? Never in 20 years the USMC have the words, "I saved ..." , ever come out my mouth. My pretty sure the word "I" is illegal in the world I come from. Carry on soilder.
Absolute fantastic viewing for an old man
With how the 6.5 Creeds did just like with Cars there is no replacement for displacement.
Im loving all the South Cakalakis on this episode
Being a non shooter (at the moment) I conclude the small 6.5 is just too small to see impacts and may be a poor choice for this competition.
There's a guy who did the LRSU Milk Jug challenge with a 22" 6.5 Grendel AR-15 on 3rd shot at 1500yds. I couldn't believe it but he did it. Much higher altitude though at 6300ft.
He 1st-round connected with his 7mm SAUM after just turning the barrel on too, at either 1500 or a mile. They have video of all if it.
Thank You Sir, participants, sponsors! 👍🇺🇲
I would love to try this just for fun.
Where did two of Jaimie Wilson's shots go?
You are so lucky in the US to be able to do this kinda of thing . Can’t even carry a knife in the UK
Your statement is incorrect. Do some research before posting.
Aloha my friend,, just wondering how do I get into this challenge looks FUN! 🤙
great shooting! love this challenge.
What was the wind?
If you don't mind a suggestion, would you flatten the berm behind the target to see the lighter-weight caliber impacts?
LOL! Not my range and they wouldn’t be too accommodating for that.
@@XRING I guess, I used the wrong term. I should have said smooth the berm.
6.5 Creedmore is subsonic at a mile. Kind of silly to think it’s going to have a chance.
Newbie here. Why did so many people "not" dial in their scopes? Especially after a miss. Some did not even wait to watch for impact.
ooooooh, embarrassing for team Hornady! 😂 Not even a puff!
Looks like a first time for a gas 6.5🔥
Excellent advise Joe.
Great work!
I didn't see a single dirt impact from any 6.5 Creedmoor. I wonder if it is just too small or just too inaccurate.
Really shows why the big 30s are more popular amongst the ELR competitors. Didn’t see over half the impacts from the 6.5s and missed maybe 1-2 from the 30s
How do shooters expect to hit a target at that range without a scope level?
