I feel like this is real. There are poeple out there that do more "talented" and or budgeted ways, like that Edelman guy. Not trying to badmouth anyone here, but that guys coverband really rubs me the wrong way. They are very good at sounding like radiohead, but it feels like cosplay to me. They make these perfect replicates that provides me nothing in terms of emotion.
You however, made me feel, and I appreciate your lack of "talent" and budget

It's not that you don't have talent, it's that covers attempting to replicate the style of the original song will always suffer in comparison. I'm sure if you attempted at a more personalised cover your talents would shine more.

i dislike this because, honestly, i was expecting this to be something as bad as karaoke in the shower and i was hoping it to be that, so i feel like it was "just anyone" making an attempt at this song. that would have made me felt better. don't sing, i don't know how to play guitar, or bass, or any of that stuff. turns out I was a bit misled by "without the budget or the talent". now I'm disappointed.
