I can say it's rare. Maybe not. Maybe yes.
Thom Yorke and his band doing some takes on Paranoid Android, I'm not really sure but I assume they are.
This version has so much more teenage angst in it from Thom’s voice, super awesome version!
i sorta wish they'd kept that transition from the "god loves his children section", that gave me the chills. ah well, is what it is.
yea me too...
The keyboard! WOW!
Reminded me of good old Jeff Buckley!
i feel it had so much more emotion. had a such a cool spooky sound to it
Oh god, me too. The full guitar sound and everything!
5:05 till last gives arriving somewhere but not here by porcupine tree vibes especially from 5:38
Yeah, looks like Steven Wilson got very inspired by Radiohead.
They probably got this vibe from recording in a haunted mansion
i love stuff like this because it really lets me relive the feeling i had when i first heard these songs for the first time. its such a beautiful feeling.
I never really got that connection people make between Radiohead and Pixies, but after listening to this... I can hear clearly now 😅
Blow Out at the Astoria ‘94 was the Pixie-switch for me.
Radiohead themseleves make that connection. They've said many times in interviews that when they started out they were trying to be the Pixies. Kurt Cobain said something similar too, about Nirvana
I love Jonny's guitar in this version it is so much more menacing in the 7/8 sections
These guys are pretty good, they should start a band!!
This is humor for the lowest common denominator.
and go back to save the earth again
I remember reading about this version ages ago but I never managed to get my hands on this version. I love it, thanks for sharing.
4:55 saving this for meself
This makes me want to punch a hole in a brick wall it’s so good
on god bro it’s heavenly 😭
i agree with everyone here, that outro was epic, but i read somewhere that they scrap it because they didn’t want to use riffs in a repetitive way as for example, oasis
I wish they kept that last section, really beautiful
gosh there's some good stuff on there wtff
cool as hell man
i really like the organ outro, should've been kept for the original Paranoid Android
that last section really gives "April - Deep Purple" vibes.. and honestly it sounds so great
i agree with you all, they should keep the final part
fuckin' amazing
이야 이 귀한 게 있네
Floyd freakout
Shit kids. This is how a multi decade hit is made. I actually like the chaos of this version better but I'm only one fan. That would be front row at a small venue enjoying experiencing a band finding the groove. (We used to do this back in the day)
OK Boomer,. People still go to concerts.

Finally an haleluya one
🙂
I oddly prefer this to the original
Did he say hallelujah?
Yes.
When??
Whats cool is that in some of the live versions he says hallelujah : )
