"Radiohead has a history of changing" ... I don´t know of any band that doesn´t change their lyrics from the early version to the final version. Just to name phew bands that also changes their lyrics, Nirvana, Muse, Metallica. Almost every band changes their lyrics. Because the lyrics are rarely fully molded in the early stages of the creative process...

It’s very common for bands to try out material not yet released (was about to say _”on disc”_ which still applies some tho streaming is more common these days) in concert... I’ve been a touring lighting director 23 years now and the band I work for does this all the time :)
THANKS for this. it is really cool to see how the arrangement of the song changed. i think this version shows a great song with loads of good ideas, but the record version perfects it and makes it immortal IMO.
