I just love the anticipation that's being built around the 6-minute mark. The layers of instruments slowly building up and the initial riff being played in another context making it seem mysterious, yet familiar. The acoustic guitar drowning in the mix and seemlessly disappearing around the 7 minute mark. Perhaps because of the entire theme revolving around OK Computer, the takeover of AI? All the instruments being turned electronic and with effects, where is the humanity?
Listening to this masterpiece at 3 am rn. i need to wake up for like 3 and half an hour later but i am here. listening this. thank you for letting this exist.
I wanted to give it a random twist at the end, the older version ends with an even more random improvisation, and i saw the oportunity to put the album ending
This is awesome! I might even come back to this sometime for enjoyment. But not just for curiosity reasons, like I did now Edit. That time is actually now. I put on again few minutes after it was over
Someone needs to post it on the Radiohead official side, so they can make a reaction video. I would so like to see their reaction when they hear these parts from 09:38 - 12:37 (Especially that part) I think that they will be just as startled (scared as most people were here when they heard it first
Paranoid Android is already an amazing song, but if they had released a version like this.. Man, it would've been even better. Props to you for making this edit. it's beautiful.
when 14 year old me heard this extended outro for the first time and yearned for something that gave the same feeling, i wish i could have gone back in time and told myself about Godspeed You! Black Emperor, cause it would eventually satisfy that craving
@@roof_of_the_fopyou should check the album hurtbreak wonderland by artist World's end girlfriend, tasty post rock with classical music and IDM in the mix
Yeah that one came as a surprise. An Awesome surprise. Such power with those contrasts. Even stronger then the official released version where the guitars come back in after the Rain down part.
Thank you very much, now I often like to listen to this version of the song. The avatars are cool, Bocchi the rock is my favorite anime, and Shimeji Simulation is my favorite manga❤❤❤
Can someone please explain to me is this the original version with the organ and all or is this a version written by the creator ? I don't understand 😭
5:29 when it gets cooking
That one time radiohead went full Pink Floyd
Punk Floyd at its finest
Ah yes, another day thinking RH should've went full prog atleast once
well it does seem that thom and jonny only went a bit more prog in The Smile
Their songs are better how they are.
@@ToniToniChopaaa I agree with you. However it is fun to listen to different versions. For a different day get a little different flavor
We could have had so much
@@ToniToniChopaaa Wrong
A universe where Panchiko took off and Radiohead didn't
Holy shit
From a great height, from a great hallelujah, hallelujah.
I thought no one was going to notice it (that and the lain text font) lol
Got used to the Lain font that I wasn't even aware of it being there haha@@NotFenriz
nice job here, it's never gonna be perfect splicing tracks together, but this sounds great
Thank you! I did my best

I love this so much. Especially the part where it goes back to the beginning chord progression.

Only L is not using the “that’s it sir you’re leaving” part
the old version had that part but the transision was awful
this is actually much better than most extended remixes out there, props to you!
the switch back to the guitar feels so random

Paranoid Android is already an amazing song, but if they had released a version like this.. Man, it would've been even better. Props to you for making this edit. it's beautiful.
I think it wouldve been a good song on its own but maybe wouldnt be as good of a placement on the album
this is ambitious (but not ugly) and oh my god is it successful
always loved that original outro.. I prefer it to the heavy guitar solo.. maybe some day I'll dare try and cover it :/
oh nevermind it still happens in the end ^^ oh well.
Amazing work! Love this organ sound at 7:50 that Jonny used on many of the ok computer recordings, like first versions of nude and true love waits
This is very good, no surprises as expected
This is the definitive edition
someone needs to cover this and record everything at the same time so it would sound a bit more smooth but this is still really cool and great
How about Radiohead.. to do a full live performance of this version and record it
Fkin prog rock
This is literally post-rock
Avant-prog thom yorke music
