This is superb the helmet really makes this figure ,I agree I'm sick of seeing highly polished paint jobs soldiers get dirty it's the nature of what they do , let's face it they work real hard at trying to camouflage into their surroundings that we should do the same for the realistic look. Well done would like to see more ww2 figures painted
Just fyi, wyrm is pronounced just like worm, and is another word for dragons. Sometimes used for dragons in general, sometimes used to refer to a specific kind.
Work on your transfer positioning and boots need the top part of the uppers painted in a buff colour, apart from that a good job 👍 Not keen on having the jacket and trousers of a uniform exactly the same shade a touch of a lighter colour added to the paint of one or the other would give a more realistic feel.
I think the armband is a bit too far, not worth the effort. Also good call on the chocolate brown, I had it there but didn't occur to me to use it, I had chosen a lighter brown that wasn't really doing it for me.
Add copper Beebees to the Bottle a drop of Disttled Water. 2 BeeBees is good enough and BeeBees well hello mix the Paint Water well thin it a little it a little OK e ahead of time
Nice to see you still doing stuff. Your rambles about history during bolt action unboxing was best. Only channel I've seen do it.
Dude, the Helmet! The helmet alone makes me want to start an AK Force :D
It's my favorite part of the mini for sure :)
Desert war is so interesting heaps of interesting factions.. To be honest I'm fightin getting some Italians and Afrika korps
Those Decals are a nightmare. You are very brave to do that with an audience.
Thanks for sharing this. Been very helpful. I have 4 1/72 DAK guys to do now. The decals make it pop and the chipping looks great,
Quality paint job that John

Outstanding work What Brand of paint and Brushes you use
Nicely done. Can't be easy doing this stuff to a camera. I'd have cut down the sleeve insignia though. You did forget the Waffenfarbe.
I did! You're totally right! dumbkoph! :D
Great video. Did you ever get around to painting some German armour in the same paint scheme?

Why is he not using a brush to do the decals, its way easier and no chance of gouging the mini!?!
Never used a brush, but I'll be doing that in the future :)
👍🏻👍🏻🙂
Venom rim is my experience the day after a curry :P Jokes aside, top job :)

Wyrm is pronounced "werm" or "worm " if you prefer. Olde English
