I just bought a 1996 Tracker with 78k miles, most were towed behind a motor home. It’s a red 5 speed manual 2WD and looks just like yours. It’s a Texas rust free car and kept inside all its life, it looks like a car that is maybe 3 years old. It has the 16 valve motor with 95 HP and runs great. I was actually looking for a smart car when I ran across it on marketplace. I just yesterday filled it up for the second time and it registered 31.6 and 34.2 MPG. I am an old drag racer and have a 1978 Chevy BIG10 swb 454 that I bought new and pull my 26 ft. enclosed race car trailer with. I also have a 2015 ZL1 Camaro that averages around 18 mpg so I was looking for something small that gets good gas mileage. A racing buddy has a smart car that he uses for a run around car and I thought I would get one but found the Tracker instead and I’m glad I did because I like a rear wheel drive manual transmission vehicle. I will make a RUclips video when I get time. Mine also has the fiberglass hard tops.
Beautiful tracker man. I haven't seen wire wheels since the mid 2000s. I used to run a set of cheap 13" reversed luxors I bought through lowrider magazine. 😂. Those were the days. Glad to see people are still running them.
I had a ‘92 Chevy S10. I slammed that truck and it still rode smooth compared to the lowered Mazdas, Toyotas, and Nissans of the day. GM vehicles ride better than any other maker of vehicles lowered in my experience.
I do understand and think it looks great lowered but the raised look is my vibe. Specially around here with all these creatures in the earth some call pot holes. Honestly I'm really glad that there are still some around. Thinking about getting one for a daily beater. Very nice look on yours. 👍🏾
Good job! How does it ride? Looking at 0:55 (before) and 4:31 (after) there is quite a difference! Before, the bottom of the body molding is about level with the top of both rims. After, the top of the body molding is about level with the top of the back rim and maybe, 2" below the top of the front rim. From that it looks it was lowered 2-3" in the back and 4-5" in the front.
@@fernandomartinez9721 so, I’m getting ready to deal with the same thing. Unless you wanna spend Dayton money, you gotta run a spacer to get away from the hubs.
My friends use coilovers from another car in the front and parts from a different car un the back... they can go to the point that the suspension hits the frame.
Very hard to find one in good condition, I just bought a 1996 from Texas with 78k miles, mostly pulled behind a motor home. It’s red and looks like new.
@@RJWilson if everyone did the same things life would be boring. I like the lifted look personally but I enjoy seeing what other people do and still I like yours lowered even though it’s not for me. 👍

Thank you 🙏 it was hard to find these wheels so I’m not sure if I’ll ever find a matching 5th but I’ll figure something out.
How did you get you rims on😮. It has 5 x5.5 wheel space. Cant really find wheels 😢
They were so hard to find
You have my high school dream car, and you are a true gangster… Respect

I miss those Trackers, wish I had 1 now.
Yes sir 💪🏿💪🏿 how they use to redeem back in the 90s
I was born in the 90’s but wish I could have experienced when they were hot. Lol
Man that look good! Paint clean and everything. My pops had a 5 speed in 98 I want 1 now!
They are pretty hard to find now
@@RJWilson and bring top dollar if in the condition like yours.

My newest inspiration, finally getting my hands on a 2wd tracker...
It took me a while
Got my tracker. It's Canada and it was abused. Floors are non existent

I like the raised look also and thinking about raising my 2WD Tracker maybe 2 inches.
How does it turn does the front tires hit
Lock to lock, no rubbing

Not going to lie, it rode pretty rough in the front. It didn’t have much travel on the shock
No driveshaft rub?
Nope
I saw your father cut the rear bump stops, did he do anything to the front ones??
We took off the front ones as well
Want a samuri or sidekick on 15x10
my plan
They are fun!
It looks badass but the ride is like a wild horse lol
It sure did lol
Clean AF!
Thank you 🙏
Hey bro I got a tracker too in what part of Texas do you live ? And how much yall charge for lower my geo ?
Dallas, I wouldn’t do it. The ride wasn’t great at all
@@RJWilson ok I'm from fort worth
What bolt pattern are these wheels? I got bolt on universal 5 lugs and none fit my Suzuki.

Sell me the trailer hitch?
Dope !

Nice 👍🏻

If the wheels could stick out at least another foot it would of been perfect
2 pumps 4 batteries Bro
If I had room I would but I can’t get rid of the back seat, my daughters love riding in it.

Bag it dude not really hard I did one 12 year ago and it's still around with the same bags
Who is selling a tracker ?
