Hello, there. I have a 1994 Suzuki sidekick. 4 wheel drive and its stock. I've always wanted to get a little lift on it. But I've never done anything to it. This is very informative thank you
They are alot of fun, economical, affordable and easy to work on for the at home do-it-yourselfer, we have a lot of idea on our channel for you to see what modifications or upgrades appeal to you. Here is a budget lift that will get you @ 2" of lift without breaking the bank, and it is an easy lift to do. amzn.to/3xnpm4i and here is a link for the camber bolts. amzn.to/4cOkDsw Thank you for your comments and good luck with your Sidekick
These sure are fun little beebop jalops for cruising around in the desert, I love mine and really enjoy driving it out in no mans land. Thanks for the ideas
Thanks for the ideas and great camera work on the suspensions showing the actual parts involved. The paint jobs look great as well and being able to enjoy the vehicle instead of, like you said, paying close to 100k and worrying about scratching it.
Hey Shane, thank you for your comment. ...and I agree, they are such a lot of fun, while still affordable and very dependable. We have a few, always seem to be working on one... Thank you for watching...

Thinking of purchasing one of these for tooling around logging roads vs a $30k sxs. Not serious off-roading, just riding around on timber property with existing logging roads. Would this do this trick?
Definitely... Is this the first time that you watched this video??? This video represents everything we do on the channel. It is perhaps one of my favorites Hope you guys are good…
Congrats on hitting 1000 Subscribers! Hope YT pays you soon. You should do separate in depth videos just on lift kits. Those are the videos that make my stand out over other van channels.
Yes, a bit complicated but I will do my best. some 10 to 12 years ago many Tracker guys were looking for cost effective solutions for suspension modifications. I am sure that you have heard of the 2" budget lift. They discovered that some GM Vehicles had Struts that might work... In my case, I used the Grand Prix Rear Struts on one of our front ends. There is some complicated modifications that need to be done to the Strut ears so that they will accommodate for alignment issues. This is the link that will give you all the info you need; www.zukioffroad.com/tech/longer-struts-for-your-geo-tracker-suzuki-sidekick/ Hope this helps Thank you for your question.
So far no, but please remember, I am not some adrenalin amped Rock Crawler show boating on the trails. All of our Trackers and Sidekicks are "Tools", they have a function and a purpose and our upgrades and modifications simply result in a better tool.@@BustedKneeAdventures
@@tufftrails I should have not even asked because I have seen what you're doing on the trails. I'm going to try and do the 2 inch puck lift with the strut mod.

The wheels are original Geo Tracker wheels from an 1989 Geo Tracker. so the wheel is probably 15" in diameter x6" wide.(15X6) The tires in this shot are 31x10.50x15 also this application has a 2" wheel spacer to bring the wheels and tire out more. I hope I answered your question.
You are so right, I've had mine for 10 -12 years now, with the most expensive costing $1800.00. I think what persuaded me to do this series is the current cost of a new Jeep, or a new Bronco, or Toyota Landcruiser, Range Rover or even a damn Silverado pickup costing $100K . It changes the game, If I paid a $100K for a Bronco, I would never take it off-road for fear of scratching it...or dinging it somewhere... I don't think the value is there anymore with the newer stuff. So let's squeeze a little more life out of our budget rigs and still have some fun. Thank You for your comment
...not sure how to reply the that, seems full of uncertainty surrounded by apprehension...rolled up into a really tight ball and just set on the shelf for now.....It's Friday so I'll take it. Thank you for your comment.

In 2:30mins in the video, Is the rim wide 5.5x15?

Yes they use a 5x5.5 bolt pattern. Same as jeep, ford and dodge used to use. The rim diameter can be 15" or 16"
Now all she needs is some serious skid plate Armor then it's time to take her wheeling!
Maybe so … There are a lot of fun though, and very capable
