Robyn, this was intentional by the Murdaughs & his partners (before they knew he stole from them) in order to give Alex's case the opportunity to say that the police botched the investigation. They took control of Paul's murderous boat accident as well. The Murdaugh brothers ( not Alex) removed boat so it couldn't be forensically searched & they said Paul wasn't driving at crash time. These are deadly powerful people.

As the defense gets into their side of the case. Let us not forget that Alex not only lied about being down by the kennels but he changed his clothes and he couldn't tell them when that happened AND they never found those clothes. Lots more very damning evidence, mainly from the body cam and interviews of Alex. He was caught lying SOOO many times. All the defense can do now is put doubt in the heads of the jurors. Even with that, I think they're going to have a hard time convincing the jurors he is innocent. Even the judge thinks he's guilty, at least that's how I took him saying "there's enough evidence for a guilty plee".

His mother and brother were murdered and his dad is on trial for doing it. He has to unfathomably sit there and listen to the details day after day after day. If I were his Dad , I would not want him in there going through that. Just another heartless move by Alex. I believe he did. I am confused on why, but even if the motive was evident, it is not normal for the human mind to make since of such a heinous crime. Period.

Curious, what was the duration of his call to buster fromt the scene? If I had to call my surviving son to tell him his family was murdered.... it would take longer than a minute. Also, we learned during his testimony he too was being sued civily for the boating accident due to allowing Paul to borrow his ID to buy liqour. It is possible the short call was to let Buster know "It's Done". Both Alex and Buster had a lot riding on Paul being dead and Maggie was probably a protector of her baby.

The missed calls to MM from Alex are very suspect…the fact that the first call at 9:04:23 someone immediately hit the side button and back light goes off, Then at 9:05:44 screen goes back on; 9:06:12 there is an orientation change and then 2 seconds later another “missed call” from Alex. 9:07:00 screen goes off. Alex’s car which is outside his house then starts at 9:06:52.? And it starts moving. THAT is one thing that makes me wonder?? Was there another person involved? Seems like the missed calls may have been made by AM to find
her phone? It was dark, she probably dropped it? Maybe AM thought there was something on there damaging? Or maybe there was a 2nd person who actually shot them?? This case is absolutely beyond fascinating….

He knew he had to get rid of it so then tossed it out the window on the way to his Mom’s..probably with the weapons and possibly his bloody clothes and shoes. You mean the one the supposed shooting incident reconstruction expert who testified the previous day claimed _he_ found? Can someone explain to me why it wasn't collected for evidence? A former law partner, _not_ an investigator, first saw the pellet yet SCLED missed it?
Am I tripping balls or is this sketchy af? 🤷‍♀️
*51:00* ...oh...SCLED didn't collect it because, "we've got all we need." What is wrong with these people?
What, were they promised payment to do subpar work?
*56:35* A jug of clorox? Hmm...nothing sus about that. 🤔🤨
The defense moved quickly on from that one...
*1:02:13* "Sounds like 'they' to me." 🙄 You would.
First time I heard it, I clearly heard "I". And this was before I knew much about Alex Murdaugh.
*1:13:47* "Nobody knows what goes on behind closed doors." That is absolutely correct.
*1:43:00* Paul was a very troubled kid. I feel bad for him because it wasn't his fault how he was raised but he needed help. He never took responsibility for anything and always ran to his granddaddy to make the problem "disappear". Of course he became glued to Randolph after the boating accident. That's who he kept trying to call after he crashed the boat while drunk and killed Malory Beach. He was also very abusive mentally and physically to his girlfriend. Paul needed help and he needed to be far away from his family who is plagued with death.
