    The defense team is calling more witnesses to the stand in the murder trial for Alex Murdaugh, a former attorney charged in the June 2021 killings of his wife and 22-year-old son in South Carolina. One of the witnesses Wednesday was Murdaugh’s law partner Mark Ball, who told the jury he saw more than a dozen people who weren’t first responders or law enforcement at the crime scene. Murdaugh, 54, has pleaded not guilty.

    This man, the lawyer who’s friends with the family seems very truthful, according to his verbal & non-verbal behavior, he’s relaying info, definitely not creating a story.

    I thought running, 1st. Also, perhaps the reason the camera came on and off, was someone checking if any video or photos were taken, of the perp killing Maggie.

    The folks who got on the stand to say how great A.M. is should rethink their gut instincts cause they've been made fools of during this trial. A good person doesn't steal or do any of the shady crap he's done

      His misdeeds, when looked at individually, might seem to be isolated incidents, to some. But the prosecution has put all his deceptions together to show the whole pic. They're showing this is why he did what he did. If ur an adult, u should know this, it's the totality of his actions that are being explained at the trial every day.

      @SydMountaineer of course they aren't. But examining his character by looking at all the bad things he's done or helped covered up or many things we probably know nothing about. I feel for the folks he and the rest of the family deceived. That's what I intended by my first comment

    5:25:42 is a great example of a big old boy bully. He is harassing the expert witness. It is a vivid example of a bully. When the prosecutors aren't winning they resort to bullying in hickville

    I've watched a lot of this trial up until this day 20. Curious about one of the facts: Defense opening statements it was pointed out that Paul's brain exploded upward from his head and even hit the ceiling. Doesn't it follow that the shotgun shot would've had to come from the bottom of Paul's chin for it to force his brain to travel all the way to the ceiling? Allegedly Paul was shot in the chest first, which I would think he'd be laying supine on the ground or something, then the head shot, so I'm confused about how his brain would take that upward trajectory.

    • @historiented6573
      @historiented6573 11 месяцев назад

      It seems that for the brain to take such an upward trajectory like that, Paul would've killed himself

      @@historiented6573The autopsy person explained it. Paul did not immediately drop to the floor when he took the shot to the chest. He stumbled out of the room after the first shot

      @@tatum2739 yes, I stand corrected. At the time it didn’t seem possible to me being just a lay person but I did ask a few folks who are familiar with these types of scenarios. With such a powerful blast it has been duly shown that it can happen that the brain could project upward in that fashion. I was rather surprised too. But I now accept it

    Love how the Prosecutor winter’s tries to act all tough and raise his voice to all the defense witnesses and intimidate them and if I’d been them I’d kindly asked him to keep his glasses on and stop taking them off because when he does that his eyes cross so bad they can’t tell if he’s talking to them the jury, the defense lawyers, the judge or possibly the groundskeepers outside of the courthouse bc of his crazy eye syndrome 🤣
