      Holy Cow y'all !!!!
My dad was a journalist and he would be brimming with excitement over your old school approach....The Who, What, When, Where, Why and How.
The greatest gift he gave us was teaching us How to think, not What to think. We read the paper everyday and lots of periodicals. He said we shouldn't form any opinion until we studied all angles of a topic.
He taught me how to read a situation and that often the truth will lie in what isn't said as much as what is said.
He didn't suffer fools gladly and believed loud and aggressive ppl were vexations to the spirit (this is a line from the "poem" Desiderata, which summed up his spiritual life pretty much).
      He also
      believed that pride always goeth
      before the fall.
One day I came home from school crying bc a bully girl didn't like me. He told me that sometimes when someone doesn't like us it's really a compliment. These words have been a guide to me most of my life.
The way y'all have approached this trial and story brings back great memories of his style...keep asking and asking until their discomfort blows em up 🤣.
He really believed what he did mattered bc the end result brought truth and justice and when we gain those ..we are all winners.
Your reporting is so good and thorough. I especially like the timeline provided of what's to come and have no doubt you will deliver what you've laid out.
I believe good old common sense and a no nonsense approach cannot disappoint.
So keep bringing it and stay your course.
I'm eager to see more as you report to us from all angles.
Your subscriptions to your channel will see much deserved growth.
      Thanks again !!

Nobody would return to a murder scene with a pocket full of pills when the possibility of getting patted down is high.

Ethical journalists won't report rumor and innuendo. But sadly yes these news outlets are few. The public also demands too much instead of being patient, letting LE do their job and make their arrests based on a search for justice...not just closing a case. I actually like that the Daybell and Delphi, Indiana cases are being done without much media guessing. And the quiet from LE actually builds a stronger case and better chance for conviction. My deciding factor was how Alex lied for a year about not being at the kennels then had to tell the truth when Paul's video surfaced. The other factor was the GPS data from GM that surfaced just in time. Seems almost like divine intervention. The prosecution also presented a thorough case which made the circumstantial evidence way more probable as to what really went down. The defense was doomed when lie after lie was exposed by Alex. It really seems he has no soul and is right where he belongs. I also like that the jury consisted of ppl who didn't have lots of wealth but sure had tons of common sense. They proved to be much more intelligent than Alex thinks he is. His colossal ego is what nailed him.

@@lthibault You're probably aware already that one of the SLED detectives was on the stand for a couple of hours with some great charts showing Alex's vehicle going where and when and at what speeds. His phone was also recording how many steps he took that evening....again where and when. Upon returning to the house, after the murders and before leaving for his parent's home, he took about 250 steps inside his house. Theory is that he changed clothes then and took those clothes and guns to his parents. He stops for a few minutes half way up their long driveway. Probably hid the stuff in the woods there and returned the next day to dispose in a better spot. They didn't search parents he until days later. I also think he hosed the blood off his clothes down at the kennels.
U can Google the detectives testimony and it does bring the timeline together. I agree with u too that they'd have to pry me off of my kids or my grandkids. I also so sickened by the money he stole from the housekeeper's boys. When they lost her income their home was repossessed. Also the kid on the ventilator for life ....Alex has zero empathy and feels he's entitled. I knew when he went before the judge for sentencing that his 1st words would be...I'm innocent your honor. Yes he is sick as only a psychopath can be. He will never admit his guilt. The prosecutors took the death penalty off the table B4 trial bc they worried how much circumstantial evidence there was and wanted him to at least get LWOP. I think this jury would have given it to him too. But prosecutor did right they way be handled it. Hindsight always 20/20.
Thanks for your reply. Law fascinates me in how hard they work to put a case together and ultimately how criminals almost always get caught.
This verdict made me as proud of my region of the country as the verdicts in Georgia of the 3 vigilantes who chased down Ahmaud Arbury and murdered him. Claimed self defense. The prosecutor in that case was brilliant too.

I do believe he had an opiate addiction but lied so about the extent. I'm a retired Pharmacist and no way did he take the amount claimed. That amt would kill even a hard core a addict. He used cousin Eddy as a dealer and to launder stolen money. SLED is still investigating his financial crimes and will likely find some money in bogus foreign accts.
It's possible too he has a gambling addiction.
I'm still perplexed by Buster's involvement in Steven's murder or a gay relationship with him. If they can prove a murder I doubt they can prove Buster did it. It could be a hate crime committed by local homophobes. I also think buster knows in his heart his dad is guilty. Part of me hopes he is not involved. Brother Randy I think does believe Alex guilty but the other will stand by Alex bc among the southern rich ...blood runs thick and loyalty very deep. It's all about preserving their heritage no matter the cost. Tho my folks were from the Midwest we moved here when I was 2 yo and I've an understanding of the culture. And ppl native to this area never will let outsiders join them completely.
The Murdaugh drama has all the makings of a true southern Gothic tragedy.
The next trials up are the Lori and Chad Daybell crazy saga. These off shoots of the LDS church have many murders and intrigue. They won't televise but probably best for protecting this case. The others also will be hush like...the Idaho 4 and murders of Libby and Abby in Delphi. I'm curious re their evidence in all 3. I believe so far in the guilt of all but will need to deep dive B4 certain.
Btw I saw your couple's pic with your post and your wife is beautiful. So y'all share the true crime geekiness 😆. My daughter 3 grown daughters share my interest too. I used to worry too much when they were young bc girls can be too trusting and gullible. I was lucky with 4 brothers who were protective of me. They still are 😆.
Maybe I will run across some posts you and your wife might make re upcoming trials. Since retiring I've much spare time to follow trials. I watched all of the Chandler Halderson trial. If he had worked as hard as he did re keeping up the lies about college, jobs and his farce of a life it might be free today but dang he was lazy. His prosecutor was great and gave his opening statement using no notes. Ok... sorry for long post and maybe will read u again on RUclips in weeks to come.

@@mariac.9727 Because you are a woman. Men are always looking for clues or something to fix, so they would not always be so observative for microdetails.
We are born to take care of children and communicate, and not miss anything.
My husband could not have raised kids alone. He does not act untill its too late, he does not think about what would happen if so and so. He does not teach children the why and how or when, he will just be grumphy if they do wrong, not thinking he could have prevented it.
They have different mindset. That is why children better have 2 parents.
My daughter and I was able to find out who murdered a woman. News did not tell anything, but my daughter and I went digging, and we found the murderers.
We did not even know any names. All we had was " woman found drowned in a iron cage " East in our country Norway.
So first we had to dig to find the dead womans name. And then we had to find birth, homeplace, birthplace.
Then we needed to run all names she might have or could know.
We used around 2 hours, and we found someone who were totally changed in their faces on their facebookpics, from happy and cozy to like dead in their face,.
Its like they corruptet themselves. They went from looking sweet and human, to look like mugshots of coldblooded murderers from one day to another.
Their privatlife and lovelife went dead.
One can never be the same if one murder someone.
Their eyes was not sad, but hard and dead. Like no light, never mind anything. They acted in their text updates like they were living just so fine.
But they ( a young couple had killed her mom and chained her in an ironcage and she sunk in a river under a bridge.
They got cought. It was all about money.
When we heard about the case we had no clue. We live west in the country. This happened in East of Norway.
We knew that we knew that we knew, but the police used looong time...
And at the end we were right.
We found them just by using Google.
I can dive in people just because I wanna learn about their lives. I love people, and I care who are they, what are their skills, hobbies. Where have they been, who was their friend, mutual friends, their mom, grandmom, when did they marry and get kids. I can study friends pictures and their families on Facebook for hours. If an issue is coming up, or some people or something special standing out, I can find we are relatives knowing nothing before. Or an old childhood friend I did not know what happened to her, and I will be Sherlock Holmes... I am a researcher. Its in my blood. ( I have been music Journalist.)
      My daughter is like me.
We never give up till we have an answer.
The right questions one do is what will solve the case .
Women will always see different, that is why in police or detective matters, one man and one woman should work together.
Men use to not like details, the will very often just cut " the crap" to the bone, even if its the wrong bone. 🤣
But they are gorgeous in all the other matters. My husband vacuumclean and goes to grossary store. I clean/ wash and decorate and I take care og launderies. And we both Cook, and when I bake, he clean up.
Men are important, but woman can see the details, depths and widths and heights and underlying things men would not even think of....less they got 3/4 of an ovary, and their biggest hobby is sewing embroidery and watching Detective series on the tv and got mood swings🥰. He will always say " now come to the point"... not knowing everything matters.
He can drive non stop for 15-20 hours. He want to reach the goal. He is Passing by beautiful places to see...I want the entire Journey.
Learn more about everybody and every City or town. Take pictures and make movies, meet people and know who are this soul? I can sit down for hours with a homeless and listen. I want to know them. I always wanna know.

You could not avoid it. He had not been near their bodies a second time, that was obvious. It was to have been his first time. He had to have grabbed Paul's phone before that, or he would have had blood and matter on his shoes, hands, and clothing. You can bet the police did just walking into that scene. It has to be a scene that will haunt them forever. I just wish we could find out why... for certain. Was it love, to spare them what was coming, or was it anger because they screwed up what he was doing...Paul with the boat case brought SO much trouble, and Maggie saying she did not want to sign away her beach property..and both had known about drugs, either taking or selling, or both. Will we ever find the truth? Maybe he found out that Maggie was considering divorcing him. Paul was her baby and her side kick so to speak. I will never understand how he could do this, no matter the reason, and in such a cold-hearted manner. Maybe the clue is in what he told the police, "Whoever did this had a lot of rage."

“Alex never once said get somebody to my son Buster and my mother to make sure they are safe “.
If I had just discovered my wife and one of my children murdered, my first call would have been to my other child demanding she get to the nearest police station to ensure her safety. If I wasn’t able to reach my other child as soon as 1st responder arrived and I told what I came home to find I would have demanded they get someone to my other child and my parents to ensure their safety.

@@katiekane5247 It is HonkyTonk people out in the countryside in howdy dude land, them dogs and them hogs.
No NewYorkCity or hitech budget there.
I'm and old granny in Norway, on a tiny island into the Norwegian fjords, I might make better movies with my Samsung.
Thank God our grandson is living here, Im lost in my own tech jungle in my HonkyTonk Tomato island.(.we practically produce tomatoes to all Europe...90% of the people here are farmers...)
      Im not though.
Thats why I call our place here also HonkyTonk land, in the countryside by the sea , because I'm a citygirl myself.
My Hubby is another kinda HonkyTonk, ( more like a Hillbilly 😆) a mountain man from the wilderness by a river way up north like the simular nature as the wilderness of Alaska. Snow scooters, Salmon rivers, reindeer, mulberry meadows and bears .
When my parents got colour tv very late in 1975, the people up north hardly had gotten their Black and white tv.😄
It is even worse there due to hitech.
The movie we are watching here can not be produced by big news. There are amateur youtubers having more skiĺls behind camera then them.
But I have very good earphones, so I did not recognize it. I hear volume ok, even if the quality is *bob-bob*.
Sorry for my poor English too.
I learned only by watching American movies.
      😂

Very interesting. Thanks 4 posting the FULL interview. I wish the reporters/interviewers were wearing mics also. You can’t always hear the questions. It helps with context. There is 1 reporter/interviewer that spoke loud & clear. She should have asked all the questions.

They had his number from day one. Very helpful that they knew him too. I appreciate the officer (far right) pointing out all the little red flags. Almost each one could have been for a different reason but as a whole? He murdered his family in cold blood. You'd think a lawyer be smarter than AM is, he must be a really lousy one. RIP MM & PM😢 Waiting for Part II

Maybe the officer will see this and respond or maybe another officer can offer insight. What is your firearm status as the first on scene in the middle of nowhere at night? Do you have a long gun in the passenger seat? Have you unholstered your pistol? You don’t know anything except people are dead. Serious question, thanks.

Gun out. In the low ready position. We had a shotgun as a secondary mag mounted in the front seat, but not useful in this scenario.

I apologize for thinking and making some comments that were wrong about how they handled things. This interview and one other really helped. They never brought up some of the stuff from the other interview that i think the jury and public should have heard. The police got a black eye that should have been corrected.

Jason's body language analysis is great - I would love to see the behavior panel have a discussion with him! Thank you for posting this as it dispels the defense's shameful narrative of bumbling local law enforcement.

The Behavior Panel were sure impressed with the interview with Alex where they showed him the snapchats at the SLED office. They were requesting that David Owens contact them so they could interview him. Hopefully he will, I'd love to see him on the show... and he should take these 3 with him!

One thing ALL these people talk about is how much use they made of body cam and car cam footage.
And that makes me think about certain Sheriffs, like that one in Florida, who refuse to have his deputies wear body cams. Everybody knows this is because he knows that what would be revealed about THEIR behaviour would be terrible for HIM. And he is more interested in THAT than in the incredible value of the cameras in crime solving. What a dick.
