First of all the top of the line Surface only cost $1799 (its on sale now $150 off), look it up at the MS store online) and both i5 and i7 come with 8GB RAM, not 4 or 2 like you said. I have the Intel i5 Quad Core (with Turbo Boost Technology up to 3.3 GHZ) with 8BG RAM and that is only $1449 and it is fucking FAST!! Best laptop I have ever owned for the price. You clearly have not used one or own one, otherwise you would know what the hell you are taking about. The Apple MacBook Air 13" Dual-Core Intel Core i5 1.6GHz for example is same price as the Surface i5 with a 556 SSD drive but uses a SLOWER dual core instead of Quad Core processor, plus ONLY 4GB RAM and no touch screen with capacitive pressure sensitive pen support, which by the way is also a lower resolution screen (2160 x 1440 vs 1440 x 900). Now that is an over priced piece of shit. Don't look like a fool and do some research next time you plan to open your mouth and spit out verbal diarrhea! LMAO (at you)

I still had to rely on my laptop to get my work done. surface 3 with win10 is hybrid between tablet and laptop. and the way you showed us suface's capability is something which other youtuber/reviewers don't show. Thanks for the zoom app :), using it on my surface pro 3. also for those wondering, the surface pro 3 can also be charged with a portable battery charger. you just need the cable for it .
just got my surface pro 3 , 256gb 8gb ram, used on ebay $120 with broken screen, sceeen works bur no touch sensitvity, i have no power supply yet waiting for it from amazon, i wish the pro had the micro usb port and id be using it right now! so basically i got a new highly portable laptop! my old laptop weighs at least 2lbs more (with keyboard)

my mac book was made redundant when I got my surface 2RT, and when my hubby dropped and shattered the screen of that, it was replaced, free of charge, with a surface pro 3 and I haven't looked back. my dad even bought one after he saw how mine performed. id love to know what more this machine can do, but I'm not as tech savvy as I could be ;) cool vid x
As always great video. I was debating ditching my surface pro 3 for a surface 3 because I like the form factor so much better. The added portability seems to be more appealing than the extra horsepower of the pro 3.
Nice video. I replaced an Asus with the 2GB version Surface 3. I knew about screen beaming but did not know it could also connect to that many peripherals at one time. The iPeople do not know what they are missing.

It wasn't 2 days in and the system crashed and I had to wait 15 minutes for it to reboot itself then I added a USB Mouse and lost the Keyboard functions. Conflict in the device manager even a FULL SYSTEM RESTORE could not fix (of course I removed the mouse) I had to wait for a Windows update and that seemed to fixed the conflict. While at work yesterday I lost Internet red x in the system tray for no reason. Every other device I had (iPads, phones) all worked trouble shot it NOTHING. When I came home still no internet I spent 30 minutes fussing around until I finally hit something I have no idea but it was finally started working again after several reboots. I have to step back and think is this NORMAL? I just out Mail on and loaded CHROME Browser on and the app you recommend for pinching and zooming, and I have hours in trouble shooting and frustration over simple IPAD. HELP?
Is this on your Surface? Do you live near a Microsoft Store? If so, they can help troubleshoot. It sounds like you are having some abnormal issues (like plugging in a mouse and typecover stopped workng). Let me know how that goes!
I had a question about "plug in, not charging. I travel a lot, so being able to use my USB port in my truck is a must. I have 5 USB outlets, so this is my primary way to charge all my gadgets and accessories. I notice the surface will not charge at all. It's plug in, but not charging. Question have you ever had charge the device without a standard outlet?

The Surface looks like it's much more practical of a choice than the iPad. I am an engineering student seeking a portable device for all my textbooks. So far I am very impressed by what the Surface has to offer, especially the functions of OneNote that you showcased. However, I'm a bit discouraged by the high price tag...should I take the plunge? Or save up a bit more to entirely replace my laptop with the Surface Pro?
