Giannis is a beast, unstoppable force, most dominant player I witnessed since Shaq. Lebron is great and MJ, but if Giannis had a consistent 3 in his arsenal, these other two would look like ants in front of him. Lebron drove to the basket well, but Giannis drives in like a madman. He is ruthless. Giannis won his ring with the team that drafted him. Lebron had to join Wade, Bosh and co to win it. Nowitzki schooled him though. Jordan never won anything without Pippen who was kinda like Giannis but kinda inferior. They had Rodman after, a rebounding beast, Kerr the sniper, Kukoc the best 6th man ever. Harper.

Michael Jordan was the best ever and Pippen struggled badly in playoffs his first 3 times. He scored less than double digit. One man can't win championships without two other guys scoring in double figures. LeBron PED James choked so many times.

I love Giannis you’re not going to find that many people that like him more than me but. There’s a 99.9% chance he wouldn’t. Most importantly is championships, he would need at least 2 more to get in the top 10 let alone the goat debate. Also should have at least one more mvp. But biggest thing is Giannis’s lack of shooting. You could say something about every nba player that could be improved but like Jordan I wouldn’t say has a weakness in his game just that his 3pt shooting could be better but Giannis shooting is a hole on his game and it showed itself in the playoffs. He’s still a tremendous player but nonetheless still a hole in his game that cost them in the playoffs

Leading a small market team to a championship after 50 years is very impresive. Dirk's ring is more respected than most rings, KD rings aren't as impresive as Dirks. I am a Giannis Fan but only way for him to be considered in the conversation is if he wins 3 rings in a row with the Bucks, while featuring his new consistent mid range jumper. At that point he would be clearly above LeBron (as LJ had to leave his draft team to join Big Market teams to do it) and he would have silenced the "no jumper" critics. Then he would have the argument that he did the three-peat in a relatively more competitive era than MJ. Still a very slim argument as MJ has been cemented as the GOAT, but I don't believe there is time in Giannis' career for more championships than those I mention.

And there are just more stars today period. Plus look at how many players are competent 3point shooters. Back then a team had 1-2 at most. And a team can win a game just by having a good shooting night even if they are bottom feeders, meaning it is easier to make an upset today.
