@ When players fall off they can still have great games but their consistency which is taxed from their body falls off a cliff. Hopefully we’re not seeing this with LeBron but it might be happening. For example a 40 year old MJ was still able to drop 40 in some games but he was still washed. I hope my glorious king proves me wrong 🙏
One of my earliest memories was watching Jordan win his 6th championship in 98. I was barely 5 years old. To this day I’m a huge Bulls fan. I grew up with Jordan posters, the shoes, even a Chicago bulls bedspread. I still faithfully watch Bulls games today in 2024. I was 10 when James entered the league. I’m 31 now. I’ve fought Lebron James being the goat with every fiber of my being for years now. We are at the point now where even I have to hang it up and recognize him as the NBAs goat, even though he isn’t my personal goat. Its been a tough ride to reach that point, but now that I’m here, I’m really not looking forward to the day when Lebron hangs it up.
@@jowieonit No its not, greatness is how good were you at your peak while being able to win the most games, and Jordan is the standard, he won 72 games in 1996, then 69 games in 1997 then 67 games in 1992
bro he is literally averaging 24 8 9 on 51% FG 42% 3pt shooting splits, he's literally getting better with age, and somehow at 38 years old last season turned into one of the best 3 point shooters in the league, the fact that he keeps getting better in response to his regression is something that is just completely unreal. Became a top player, top offensive player at the start of Cleveland, then became a DPOY candidate near the end, by the time he got to Miami he got a decent jump shot and even shot 40% from 3, also became a much more experienced player getting some championship DNA, learning from the first hall of famers he ever played with. Then when he got BACK to Cleveland, he really became the experienced VET, playoff beast, beat the 73-9 unbeatable team and unanimous MVP, and for the second time in his career, carried literal bums to the final, showing that he ALONE is a championship roster. Then, at 33, father time is coming, this is where his career starts to go down. Nope. NOT LEBRON. Somehow from 33, he went to an AWFUL Lakers roster (all of the teams he played for were awful not just after him like it is focused on, but also before him, except for Miami of course, but he rejuvenated that Lakers squad, his IQ was better than ever, LEAGUE LEADER IN ASSISTS, PUT HIMSELF ON THE MAP AS ONE OF THE BEST PASSERS OF ALL TIME, PLAYING PG, 25 10 8 at 35, 2nd in MVP to none other than Giannis Antetokounmpo, also the Finals MVP, and showed he is STILL the best at 35. Also had some of his CLUTCHEST ever years on Cleveland, with also a lot of his infamous chase down blocks... Ok, now he gets worse right? 35 is already insane, surely. . Ok what, he is a CENTER now at 37???? AVERAGING 30 POINTS A GAME... he is now the first and only player ever to be recorded at all 5 positions for a whole season. SG at 19, SF from 20-27, 30-32, at 34 and at 40, PF 28-29, 33, 38-39, C at 37 and PG at 35-36. SF PF PF C PG PG. Played 2 seasons as a PG then a season as a C from 35-37. Now he is the most versatile player, can't really get much more from here... right? (He also averaged his tied most ever blocks at 36 with 1.1 per game). Well, he is the all time playoffs, regular season and Playoffs + Regular season top scorer, top 10 in Points, 3PM, Assists, Triple Doubles... 39 years old - 20 Straight all star games. at 39 years old, he also won the Olympics with team USA btw, CARRYING the team and being beyond clutch for most of the duration of the competition... at 39 Years old, he also is now one of the best 3 POINT SHOOTERS IN THE LEAGUE, SOMETHING HE HAS ALWAYS HAD AS AVERAGE??? He shot a career best 41% from 3 at 39 on 5.1 attempts per game, DEVELOPING AND GETTING BETTER, yes maybe his Athleticism decreases, but he is STILL GETTING BETTER, HE DEVELOPED A 3 POINT SHOT, HE IMPROVED GAME IQ, PASSING, all these things making him even more complete, and doing so much to keep him on the level at 40 years old is just unreal, he might be the best we have ever seen in ALL SPORTS in terms of longevity... his freethrow shot has also while not ever being good - looked better over the last couple years compared to his worst years shooting 65% from the line, last few years he has been shooting 75%, but is an AVERAGE freethrow rating his only "weakness"??? LeBron has also made 20 straight all NBA teams, and 19 straight years in MVP top 10. It doesn't even look like he is slowing down, yes his PPG has dropped to 24 ppg, but he is averaging 9 and 8, and extremely efficient, while taking the least shots he has ever taken in his career per game at only 17, and 2nd lowest freethrows at 5.8. The only thing you can argue has gotten worse is his defense, but he is still far from a bad defender or a liability. It is hard to imagine LeBron EVER slowing down before he retires at this rate, who knows maybe at 45 he will still be averaging 20 a game at this rate... I hope he plays his career as long as he possibly can, even if it's just to play with Bryce, but it seems LeBron is still just unreal at this age. Like at 39 he got BETTER, when past 32 or 33 you are meant to be "regressing", soon he will be 10 years from regressing and as good as ever... STILL IN HIS PRIME (I know not like his true prime but you know what I mean, still at that maybe not MVP, but Superstar level). He won the Olympics AND In Season Competition at 39... This is not mentioning that he played AN INSANE 71 GAMES last season, 67 games in the 73 game regular season , and NOW WANTS TO PLAY 82 GAMES...
I wanted to say I am aware he is not getting BETTER like overall, but he is getting better at things like shooting and passing and stuff still to this day, to a point where like LeBron knocking down threes can mask him not scoring as many dunks and stuff like that, I think he honestly is getting worse, but the rate in which he patches himself up from any decline makes the decline that much slower, and the way he is still developing with the game and how the game changes. I think part of the reason players like Kobe and Tim Duncan would have struggled is the difference in era Tim Duncan the Steph Curry 3 point revolution probably wouldnt of helped him in the 2014-2016 span. Kobe got hit by injuries and him being kind of inefficient isn't great compared to the super efficient 3 point league, and Dirk was a great shooter, but he is 7'0 tall, humble and happy to take a bench spot, and really stopped being playable at 40 in 2017-18 an era full of dynamic movement and so different from his own
I’m not reading all that, the riding is crazy. All I have to say is he isn’t getting better with age, his stats are getting better because of the stat inflation in the league today.

I remember on 2K18 MyLeague LeBron did NOT want to retire man. I remember he was like 49 years old and still averaging 17 points playing for a terrible Blazers squad lmao. I think the game auto-retired him after that but it was funny seeing him not want to give up like he had something left to prove.
I don't want my king to retire yet, I still want to feel his presence in the court, many of us, he is the one we grew up with. He was the reason why we watch basketball.
You know what’s absolutely mind boggling. My brother was born on October 29th, 2003. Lebron James’s first NBA game was on what date? October 29th, 2003. And my brother loves Lebron. Crazy.
At the end of the day Lebrons stats will live on, only then people will appreciate really how dominant/consistent he was. Messi/Lebron really set records that I believe wont be beaten in the next decade or more
Jxmy pulling the strings of emotion on this one. As someone who grew idolizing MJ over the 80s and 90s, and missed all but last year of Kobe's career, I regret not watching more LeBron sooner. I started watching him on 2011-2012, hating and admiring him, but in the past 8 years, I've been a big fan. Still a fan of MJ, but LeBron is an amazing athlete and defines the current NBA. Thank you for putting this one together.
I had something similar with Kobe. As a massive MJ fan he just looked an inferior in every way possible. Although for the second half of his career I just enjoyed him for who he was. Not on a goat level tier but among the greats such as Magic, Kareem and so on. Jordan is miles ahead in first then LeBron miles ahead in second.
I understand that Jxmy is going through a lot of emotions. As a Lebron fan myself, seeing those graphs makes me extra emotional as well. Imagine lebron at yr 29 already at the very end of the rotation and rocking a Udonis Haslem type of season wherein he can no longer contribute. Cant imagine that time will come where lebron is no longer capable of playing high level bball. We are just so used to him being so great, It must be an unreal sight if that time comes.
Bronny is goated, he just entered the NBA and allready holds the record of "oldest NBA player to currently be worse than his dad". And I dont think anybody can touch him in the next 10 years..
How is the glazing going? Repulsive. Enjoy the rest of stat padding season from the greatest liability and deadweight in the league. Best regards, Sincere Lakers fan
I've been a fan since 05. Im 25 now, and I was honored to see Bron play. Its gonna be weird without him dominating the league. Not just him, KD, Russ, Curry, Harden, Kawhi, PG, and all the OGs will be missed😢
@GcinokuhleThela how is it weird to see him not dominating? He hasn't been dominant in years! Lakers have literally been better as a team without him for a while now.
I think the key to LeBron’s longevity is that he was one of the first players to take the care of his body as seriously as every other element of his game. Keep yourself healthy and you avoid injuries, avoid injuries and there is less breakdown overtime and thus he can play longer (yea a bit of an oversimplification but things like your core and your back muscles basically act as a support system like guide wires on a bridge, keep those strong and your lessening the chance on injury to those areas and the less time it will take to recover when you do).
Jimmy it’s time. We need an MJ vs LeBron video. We got it 3 seasons ago. Close to 3 years ago. You said in the video if Bron kept playing at a super high level for the next few seasons, you’d have to reconsider the debate. Well, he’s still at least a top 20 player, and probably top 15 still, arguably better. We believe in you Jimmy. Please 🙏
The drop off is usually sudden, not linear. Bron had remained productive much longer than anyone before him. But it’s going to end sooner than Jimmy thinks.
Well didnt this age like milk. You missed hella cool headlines and trends throughout the nba and not a peep from you, but oh no its lebron and the lakers we HAVE to talk about them. Apparently nothing important or significant happened in the last week but let lebron sneeeze and every youtuber makes the same mf video.
Exactly. This video of the last I’ll watch from Jimmy. Sellout. If we are going to talk about LeBron it should be the revelation that his stats are being padded and even lied about. Look it up. He’s a joke at this point and the reason the Lakers can’t win.
The NBA don't care about that. Miles Bridges beat Jaylen Brown's girlfriend into a bloody pulp and he is still in the league. Josh Diddy slept with a 13 year old and he is still in the league. L take.

Lebron James stats today
@ When players fall off they can still have great games but their consistency which is taxed from their body falls off a cliff. Hopefully we’re not seeing this with LeBron but it might be happening. For example a 40 year old MJ was still able to drop 40 in some games but he was still washed. I hope my glorious king proves me wrong 🙏

Father time: that's all i needed
Bro jinxed it
That Bronny stray was crazy 😂
One of my earliest memories was watching Jordan win his 6th championship in 98. I was barely 5 years old. To this day I’m a huge Bulls fan. I grew up with Jordan posters, the shoes, even a Chicago bulls bedspread. I still faithfully watch Bulls games today in 2024. I was 10 when James entered the league. I’m 31 now. I’ve fought Lebron James being the goat with every fiber of my being for years now. We are at the point now where even I have to hang it up and recognize him as the NBAs goat, even though he isn’t my personal goat. Its been a tough ride to reach that point, but now that I’m here, I’m really not looking forward to the day when Lebron hangs it up.

thats the point of GOAT, greatest! playing forever is a great attribute but not greatest. greatest is peak excellence sustained
This is the most glaze ever, Lebron even if he plays so year 50 isn't the goat simply because he is a loser and has multiple playoff chokes
@@jowieonit No its not, greatness is how good were you at your peak while being able to win the most games, and Jordan is the standard, he won 72 games in 1996, then 69 games in 1997 then 67 games in 1992
That not aged well. His + - is kind of funny now. Legends do not know when to stop.
jimmy i think u jinxed bron ngl😂
bro he is literally averaging 24 8 9 on 51% FG 42% 3pt shooting splits, he's literally getting better with age, and somehow at 38 years old last season turned into one of the best 3 point shooters in the league, the fact that he keeps getting better in response to his regression is something that is just completely unreal.
This is not mentioning that he played AN INSANE 71 GAMES last season, 67 games in the 73 game regular season , and NOW WANTS TO PLAY 82 GAMES...
quit the glaze
Kobe got hit by injuries and him being kind of inefficient isn't great compared to the super efficient 3 point league, and Dirk was a great shooter, but he is 7'0 tall, humble and happy to take a bench spot, and really stopped being playable at 40 in 2017-18 an era full of dynamic movement and so different from his own
I like lebron, but bro is yapping way too much about lebron
Holy glaze
I’m not reading all that, the riding is crazy. All I have to say is he isn’t getting better with age, his stats are getting better because of the stat inflation in the league today.
its been 2 weeks and this video aged like milk, we should've suspected it was too good to be true

LeBron doesn't play defense, he's s stat padder.
I wish more people just took this perspective. Watching LeBron as a basketball fan!
Man you missed how extremely athletic he was his first 7 years in Cleveland. The fastest, and quickest man on the court
Best regards,
Sincere Lakers fan
saddest comment of the year award ^
I've been a fan since 05. Im 25 now, and I was honored to see Bron play. Its gonna be weird without him dominating the league. Not just him, KD, Russ, Curry, Harden, Kawhi, PG, and all the OGs will be missed😢
Facts I’m not ready for this era to retire yet
@GcinokuhleThela how is it weird to see him not dominating? He hasn't been dominant in years! Lakers have literally been better as a team without him for a while now.
Well. How the Turntables

This video aged very badly 😭
Not as badly as this comment…
Nah
@@jimbo26582 not as badly as your comment, lebron keeps proving the lakers are better without him
He got the powers at a diddy party lol
I think the key to LeBron’s longevity is that he was one of the first players to take the care of his body as seriously as every other element of his game. Keep yourself healthy and you avoid injuries, avoid injuries and there is less breakdown overtime and thus he can play longer (yea a bit of an oversimplification but things like your core and your back muscles basically act as a support system like guide wires on a bridge, keep those strong and your lessening the chance on injury to those areas and the less time it will take to recover when you do).
Also the league got progressively softer, wich made it easier.
also because the league has 0 defense like the guy above me said
The way this became an L take so quickly is hilarious.
"Ain't no party like a diddy party" -LeDiddy James
Jimmy it’s time. We need an MJ vs LeBron video. We got it 3 seasons ago. Close to 3 years ago. You said in the video if Bron kept playing at a super high level for the next few seasons, you’d have to reconsider the debate. Well, he’s still at least a top 20 player, and probably top 15 still, arguably better. We believe in you Jimmy. Please 🙏
He already reached that level, he is no longer effective and doesnt play defense.
11:38 or in other words, starting for the Pistons
2:43 cold quote 🥶
Didn't have to do Bronny like that 🤣🤣
Since this video came out Lebron is playing his worst ball in the last few years smh. Jinxed it.
Then why his team are -15.9 when he is on the court?
This video aged horribly so fast 😂
how?
The fact that LeBron is still averaging all star numbers at the age of 39 is insane
14:11 instrumental plzzz

It literally does the same as everyone else's chart, starts dipping after the peak
@@A12H1 but it doesn't dip as quickly and as low as basically everyone else, that's the crazy part
And don’t forget about dem diddy parties 😂😂
The NBA don't care about that. Miles Bridges beat Jaylen Brown's girlfriend into a bloody pulp and he is still in the league.
Josh Diddy slept with a 13 year old and he is still in the league. L take.
